I'm starting with the first rule in writing. SHOWING VS TELLING.

It's a nightmare one for me, and I'm sure that some of you also find this one nightmarish. If you are learning the writing game, want to know how to nail showing. I have the first blog post up on the first step. The difference between showing and telling with a few examples. It's not that hard once you wrap your head around that, but it's difficult one to wrap your brain around and to flip the showing switch on.

I'm focusing the next few weeks on a weekly basis on Showing. But know, this is important, tell in your book too. You can't just end up showing, otherwise your book is going to be so big. So come with me on this journey, learn how to show, and know when to tell. It's all about finding that balance.
