It was a usual day in the life of Karan and Monami...They have been married for almost 2 years now...✨

It's 11:30pm,

Monami was waiting at the dinning table for Karan for the past 1 hour...After like 15 mins the main door's lock got opened and Karan entered in...✨

He kept his bag on the nearby sofa and saw Monami sitting on the dinning table...✨

Monami - Aaj jaldi aa gai thi

Karan nodded and poured himself a glass of water from the dinning table...Monami was looking at him without blinking...✨

Monami sighed and got up from the dinning table...She started picking up the plates without answering or even looking at him...✨

Monami - Hmm...Khalia (She lied and went straight towards the kitchen while holding the plates)

Karan nodded and was going towards the room when Monami turned back and snapped...✨

Karan - Toh fir kya karu Monami?? Tum hi btado...Tumhe pta hai, if you make me choose between You and Duty toh nahi chalega na

Monami - Accha...Agar mein bolu to choose?? Toh tum Mere mein se or Apni Duty mein se, apni Duty ko choose karoge...Right??

Karan - Mein kabhi ni chahta ki mujhe tum dono mein se kisi ko choose karna padhe...But if I have to, then yes

Monami - Duty right

Karan sighed with a heavy heart and nodded lightly...✨

Monami smiled lightly looking down...With a heavy heart, she nodded too...✨

Both sighed and looked in eachothers eyes without saying anything...Like their eyes talked when their lips decided not to utter a single word...💔

Monami - Umm jao...So jao...Subhah drills hai

Karan sighed and nodded...✨

Karan - Hmm...Aa jao tum bhi... Hospital bhi jaana hai subhah

Monami sighed and nodded...✨

Monami - Tum chalo... Change karlo mein kitchen samet ke aati hu

Karan nodded lightly and Monami went straight to the kitchen...She made the Kitchen neat and clean...Yes you guys must be wondering ki monami ne kyu ni khaya khana...So, she was waiting for Karan to have dinner with but Karan already had it and gusse mein she too said ki usne khalia but she just skipped dinner...✨

After tiding up the kitchen... Monami went straight upto her room, only to find Karan already in the bed and fast asleep...✨

She sighed and went near him...She covers him in blanket, caresses his hair and then goes to lie down on her side of the bed...She lies down and turns to his sleeping face...✨

Monami - Goodnight Khadoos Shergill 🥺

Monami sighed with moist eyes and finally dozzed off too...✨

This is their life now... Everything was well till they both were in Academy, but then Monami joined as a head doctor in a nearby Army hospital and from that day they got busy in their own duties...Both were now head of their departments and both had their share of responsibilities...This was one day in their life where they fought and argued because none of them gives the other time now...💔

And while Monami was angry because Karan doesn't give her time anymore...She waited for him for soo long yet this...Same way Karan is right too, even Monami doesn't have time for him... Somedays if Monu comes early then somehow Karan gets late and on days Karan comes early but to an empty home because that day somehow Monu comes late because of the hospital...And those days he waits for her sitting on the same dinning table as hers...💔
