A piece of sky
"Yeh kahan jaa rahe hain hum?" Naina asked when she realised they were on a different road.
"Ice cream khaane... tumne hi toh kaha tha... bhool gayi?" Sameer glanced at her.
"Kaha toh tha par ab nahi chahiye... ghar hi chalte hain." She urged.
"Koi baat nahi, Naina, hum jaa sakte hain... main subah se intezar kar raha hun toh thodi der aur kar lunga." He smirked.
"Tum subah se ice cream ka intezar kar rahe the?" She blinked at him.
"Naina." He pursed his lips, giving her a quick side look.
"Toh fir kis cheez ka?" She asked innocently.
Sameer continued to drive before suddenly applying brakes. She looked around to find the street enveloped in darkness. There were no shops around.
"Yahan toh koi ice cream ki dukaan hai hi nahi." She tried to peer through the curtain of darkness.
The place looked like back lane of some market complex.
"Par tumhe toh khaani hi nahi hai." He rested his elbow on the steering, placing his cheek on his fisted hand.
"Aur kya keh rahi thi tum?" He narrowed his eyes.
She flicked up her brows.
"Main kis cheez ka intezar kar raha tha... woh batane ke liye yahan roka hai... jisse ghar pohochane tak tumhe yaad aa jaye." He leaned.
"Sameer tum... " She put one hand on his chest.
He held her wrist, and brought her hand around his neck, making her jerk ahead, close to his face.
His finger traced her face delicately as his voice turned raspy, "Jaan, subah ek sapna dikhaya tha tumne... aur subah ka sapna toh sach hota hai, yeh bhi ek baar tumne hi kaha tha... maine poora din intezar kiya uss pal ka jab woh sapna sach hoga... dil toh kar raha tha office se aate hi tumhe utha ke ghar le jaun... par fir bhi ruka raha... aur dekho... abhi bhi yahan ruk ke tumse baat kar raha hun... aur jabse tumne rang bataya hai, tumhe iss naye rang mein dekhne ke liye meri aankhen bekaraar ho rahi hain."
Her breathing had stopped when his finger had started to glide down slowly from her forehead to the side of her face... his throaty voice, feather touch of the finger as it continued to go down, his intense eyes... all turned her nerves into a coiled mess.
"Toh ghar chalo na, ruke kyon ho?" She arched as his fingers moved from her belly to the side of her waist, tracing the curve.
"Kuch hai jiske liye aur intezar nahi kar sakta." He eyed her lips.
His fingers on her waist tightened... his other hand left her wrist and went behind her head, and he pressed his lips on her mouth.
The kiss elicited the hunger that he was trying to control for so long, making her aware of his buzzing demand, his need for her.
Bunching the soft hair at the back of his neck, she kissed him back ardently. The nips, the sharp sting of teeth, the twinge of his bite... made the blood pound in her ears.
It was probably the longest kiss they ever had, leaving each other after several minutes...
Without a word, he started the car, taking the road towards their home.
After parking the car in the porch, he looked at Naina, "Tum chalo, main gate lock karke aata hun."
She nodded and went inside the house. He closed the main gate, locked the entrance, and went to the kitchen to have a glass of water. He wanted to savour each moment of their togetherness... to relish each sight of hers... he needed to calm his raging nerves to do that.
Naina entered the room. First she opened the balcony door, to let the breeze in. Picking up the jasmine perfume, she sprayed in the room. The flowers may not be there but the aroma gave the same feel as the intoxicating scent of first night they had lived together in this room. Fishing out the blue nighty from lower shelf of the cupboard, she went inside the washroom.
The room was empty when Sameer came in. He took a deep breath, taking in the fragrance that lingered around... the same that was in the room on terrace the other day. His Naina did not forget smallest detail to make every moment a cherished one... and bringing in all elements of his dreams.
The click sound made him look sideways.
She stepped out in a stunning, satin, frosty blue nighty. He stared, forgetting to blink. The gown was stuck to her figure as if it was stiched on it. Dainty white lacework on the neck made her look even more exquisite... she was like a piece of sky, his own sky, dotted with white, cottony clouds of lace. If her clothes were like a bright day, her glowing face was the moon... against the dark halo of her flying, lustrous, silky mane.
'Meri raaton ka chaand ho tum
meri subah ki roshni ho
Door rehke bhi jise har pal sochta hun
mere lamho ki woh kami ho
Samandar ho jisme doobna hai
khwaab ho ya hakikat
Jo bhi ho meri jaan ho tum
Jee utha hun soch ke ki tum bas mere liye hi bani ho'
His soft words for her were like a veil of his love that surrounded her in their mist, making her oblivious of everything except what was right in front of her... him.
He took slow steps towards her... his eyes taking in every bend, every curve, every dip, every rise of her feminine form... and every delectable inch of her made him more ravenous.
When he reached her, she waited with bated breath, looking up at him. Without letting their bodies touch, he linked the fingers of both hands with hers, deeply looking into her big, brown eyes. They glimmered with the same intensity... flecks of light sparkling in anticipation.
"Kyon Naina... kyon ho tum itni sundar ki main har baar hosh kho deta hun?" His voice was a husky whisper.
"Main kuch nahi hun, Sameer... yeh tumhari aankhen hain jo itne pyar se mujhe dekhti hain ki main uss pyar ke rang mein rang jaati hun... main sundar nahi hun... yeh toh tumhari khoobsurati hai jo mujhme nazar aati hai tumhe... tumhare pyar ka rang hai jo mujh pe poori tarah se chad gaya hai." Her voice was velvety.
"Rang chahe mere pyar ka ho ya tumhari iss nighty ka, tumhe aur bhi sundar bana raha hai... tum mera aasman ho, mera chaand bhi ho... iss itni badi duniya ka woh hissa ho jo sirf aur sirf mera hai... aur jisse iss tarah se sirf main dekh sakta hun." He started to step ahead, making her go back, till she hit the wall behind.
He raised their linked hands to the sides, pressing them on the wall. Still keeping some inches between them, he leaned to place his lips on the throbbing nerve at the base of her neck, making her shudder. He marked the skin with a hard kiss, making a dark patch appear instantly. She closed her eyes, feeling the pleasure in the pain.
The neckline of gown covered her till collarbone, not giving him much skin to relish. After peppering the column of her throat with small kisses, he turned her around, pressing her against the wall.
Her cheek was on the cool, hard surface, so were her palms, flat on the wall. He pushed her hair aside. The neckline didn't leave anything for him here, showing just a sliver of skin at the base of her neck. He placed his lips right in the center.
She drew in a sharp breath, flattening more against the wall. He recalled how she had reacted when he had kissed her back the other day. Slowly, his hands slipped to her front, tugging at the belt that was securing the gown. One pull and the satin sash slipped to her sides. He pulled at the panels on her shoulders. She straightened her arms and the gown slithered down with a rustle.
His eyes widened at the sight. Her back was almost bare. Thin straps dipped into a deep cut that went upto her lower waist at the back, leaving ample of skin raw.
He leaned, kissing softly on one side near her shoulder. She arched her shoulders back, creating a groove along her spine. Fascinated, he ran his fingers from the base of her nape to the hem of neckline.
She gulped. His touch on her back was igniting a fire that seemed to be too strong to hold. When last time he had given his attention to this part of her body, she had realised how weak it made her. And today, again his fingers and lips were moving on the same expanse, making her blood turn into molten lava.
His lips leisurely moved over the smooth skin, his hands over her belly making the monstrous butterflies threatening to fly out of her ears.
When she could take it no more, a breathless whisper reached him, "Bas Sameer."
He straightened, and instantly pressed himself against her back, his own breath shaky with urgency.
She was thankful for the weight against her throbbing limbs, getting the support to keep her standing... her legs had turned into jelly, refusing to support her weight.
When he turned her around, her eyes were dazed with the fog of desire he had created by his ministrations to her sensitive back.
His hand cupped over her shoulder, fingers curling over the thin strap. She clutched his waist for support as he slipped it down.
When he curled his arms under her, lifting her up, she was relieved... her legs could not take her anywhere.
Gently placing her on the bed, he peeled off his clothes, eyes not leaving her for a moment.
Her hands touched his toned body, feeling the muscles ripple under her fingers. Her soft touch was enough to make his veins pulsate with heated blood, her sight was enough for his heart to palpitate uncontrollably, her hot breath on his face was enough to reverberate the buzzing desire in his mind...
She brought down his face close to her, planting small kisses all over his jawline, the faint shadow deepening her longing and slight prickle tickling her lips.
"Mujhe pata hai tumhe kitni pasand hai... ab ek hafte tak tumhari iss pasand ka khyal bhi rakhunga." He was himself missing the adoration in her eyes for his stubble.
Her eyes glittered at his promise.
She covered his entire face with kisses. A deep sound erupted from the back of his throat, making her realise how much he was liking this attention.
Holding his shoulders, she pushed him to the side. He rolled off her, a surprised expression on his face. She lifted herself on the elbow, and started to pepper kisses on his throat and chest. He groaned as her teeth scraped across the taught skin. A sharp sting right over his heart made him tremble.
"Kuch nishan toh tumpe bhi hone chahiye na." She gave a mischievous smile after blowing over the mark she had left on him.
"Sherni banti jaa rahi ho." He clasped his arms around her, rolling over her as he pushed her back on the bed.
His lips came down hard on hers, hands moving feverishly, exploring the silky smoothness under him. Her breathing changed with his movements, as he took them both to the heights of pleasure.
They fell asleep in each other's arms sometime late in the night, a satiated smile on their lips.
