May the lights of Diwali shine brighter for the entire fandom with the news of season 2 with Ashdeep.

Happy Diwali to you all.

Sameer opened his eyes to see his dream come true.

Naina lay on his chest... her hair falling on the face... her hand was on his heart, under the shirt. He smiled.

Getting up every morning like this was not too distant... just about four weeks in Mumbai and a few more in Ahmedabad and she would be in his house... she was already his wife... and the thought brought back the feelings he tried hard to curb the previous night.

Tightening the arm that held her, he gently moved her hair from the face, tucking them behind the ear. Naina recognised the touch in sleep.

Hitching up her shoulder a little, she mumbled his name... her hand on his heart moved further in, making him hold his breath.

Was she dreaming... about him... he wished there was some way he could see what was going on in her mind. He watched her expression... she had a serene look... the way her fingers curled over his chest under the shirt, along with a hint of smile at the corner of those lips...

He leaned and kissed the tip of her nose.

Naina opened her eyes. Without moving, she looked up at him... and smiled softly... closing her eyes again as she snuggled closer to him.

His heart stopped beating...

"Uhh... Naina," he said in a low voice.

"Kya Sameer..." Her voice drowned in sleep was heavy and throaty.

He didn't want but he had to wake her up.

"Naina mujhe jaana hoga." He whispered in her ear.

"Ab raat ko akele chod ke jaoge mujhe, Sameer... so jao na... subah mil lena Munna Pandit se." She mumbled.

His eyes widened in amusement... she was indeed dreaming about him.

There was only one way to wake her up now.

He brought his other arm around her... and pulled her up to reach his face.

The touch of his lips made Naina open her eyes wide instantly.

She tried to sit up... as her hand moved, it's position registered in her senses.

Pulling her hand out of his shirt, she  straightened, the colour spreading on her face.

"Good morning, jaan." He touched her cheek with his finger.

"Good morning." She said shyly.

Then looked up in alarm at the window. The cover of darkness had started to thin... the rain thankfully stopped but a thick cover of clouds prevailed.

Slipping out of the bed, Naina rushed to the balcony. The silence outside made her exhale in relief.

"Sameer, baarish ruk gayi hai... aur abhi bahar koi dikh bhi nahi raha... tum jao warna thodi der mein roshni hote hi mess wale aane lag jayenge." She entered the room with a worried look... and froze...

Sameer was again standing without his shirt.

"Ab kya kar rahe ho tum?" She panicked.

"Tumhari shirt wapas karke apni pehen raha hun... sookh chuki hai." He lifted his shirt from the chair, looking innocently at her.

She turned to her side, speaking without looking at him as he buttoned up, "Meri kahan, yeh bhi toh tumhari hi hai."

"Ab nahi hai... isme tum samaa gayi ho." His low whisper near her ear made her jump.

She looked back. He stood with the white shirt in his hand. Turning her towards himself, he placed it around her shoulders.

"Jab apne ghar aaogi na, tab saath lekar aana... mere liye bohot keemti ho gayi hai yeh." He traced his finger along the collar.

She held onto it, feeling his warmth surround her.

Sameer reached the balcony door... stopped... took two steps back... and kissed her forehead.

"Meri biwi ka dhyaan rakhna." He said lovingly.

The colour returned to her face at the mention of their new relationship.

One look at her flushed cheeks and he badly wanted to stay... with her... forever...

As he climbed over the railing, Naina placed her hand over his, "Bohot dhyaan se jaana, Sameer... gir mat jaana... sab jagah paani hai."

He nodded, smiling. She looked on with bated breath as he slowly went down the pipe, carefully placing his foot on each metal ring holder.

Only when he safely reached the ground could she breathe again. Holding the rails with a tight grip, she stood looking at his back, feeling the emptiness grow with each step he took away from her.

Sameer turned before going behind the college building. He saw the lone figure wrapped in an oversized white shirt... hair flowing in the breeze... the slight light of a cloudy morning making her shine out... she was his moon girl.

He blew her a kiss... before moving out of her vision.

Her shy smiling face was imprinted in his mind.

Naina sighed, holding the shirt close to herself... the part he had left behind. They would be meeting in a few hours but she missed him already... his intense gaze, his husky voice when he leaned closer, his strong arms around her, his passionate kisses that melted her, his words that made her feel beautiful, his touch that set her on fire, his whispers when he said things to make her knees go weak, his male fragrance that filled up her senses...

She lifted one side of the shirt and inhaled deeply... yes, he was here... with her.

Sameer reached the room with heavy steps. If only everything was not so complicated in his life, it would have been such a beautiful morning... first after his marriage... with his wife in his arms... well, at least that part happened...

Naina's sleepy face from the morning brought a smile to his face... she looked angelic as she had mumbled in sleep against his chest.

Suddenly, the few weeks seemed a very long time.

Naina had just finished her bath when another girl from her floor informed her about a phone call.

"Naina Maheshwari, kaisi hain aap?" Preeti's chirpy voice brought a smile to her lips.

"Preeti ki bachhi, ab yaad aayi hai tujhe? Kal ek baar bhi baat nahi ki... din mein jab chachiji ne phone kiya tha tab bhi nahi aur raat ko bhi maine itna intezaar kiya." Naina felt bad about lying to her sister... she had forgotten all about Preeti's call last night.

"Raat ko kitni koshish ki maine par mausam kharaab tha isliye phone laga hi nahi... aur jab mummy ne phone kiya tabhi main nikal rahi thi parlour ke liye. Yeh sab chod, tu yeh bata kaisa lag raha hai... jijaji ke toh batees ke batees dant bahar honge khushi ke maare." She was her usual over excited self.

Naina smiled, "Khush kyon nahi hoga... jo bhi bolo darr toh tha hi thoda ki humare ghar pe jaane kya kya drama hoga... lekin ab papa aur taiji jo marzi kar lein, shaadi toh ho gayi."

"Sachhi behen, main kitni khush hun ki bata nahi sakti... saath mein gussa bhi hun... papa se kaha tha maine ki mujhe bhi le chalo Mumbai... court marriage hi sahi, dekh toh leti... par unhone kaha abhi theek nahi hoga... pata hai, unhe thoda darr tha ki Sameer jab apni mummy se puchega toh woh mana na kar de." Preeti shared something Naina was not aware of.

"Preeti, tujhe toh pata hai Sameer ki mummy ke baare mein... unhone bhi wohi kiya tha jo ab papa karna chahte the... Sameer ne pehle hi keh diya tha ki woh na unse puchega na hi batayega... warna woh poori koshish karengi aisa na ho." Naina was bitter about how his mother had treated Sameer.

"Maine kaha tha papa se, lekin fir bhi unhe thodi uljhan thi... par ab yeh sab baatein peeche reh gayi... ab toh Mr and Mrs Maheshwari... hayee... main toh soch ke hi khushi se mar rahi hun... tum dono se milungi toh pagal hi ho jaungi." Preeti exclaimed.

"Main bhi besabri se intezaar kar rahi hun wapas aane ka." Naina could visualize the house decorated for her proper wedding.

"Tu mujhse jhooth mat bol, behen... wahan jijaji ke saath reh rahi hai maze se aur yahan aane ka intezar hai? Waise Naina yeh bata ki shaadi ke baad aur kitna extra pyar karne lage hain woh tujhse... pehle se hi itna marte the tujhpe... ab toh ek second ke liye bhi nahi chodenge." She chuckled.

The colour spread on Naina's face faster than previous times, the images from last night vivid in her mind.

They talked for a few minutes before ending the call.

Quickly dressing up for college, Naina went for breakfast. They had no regular classes these days as the exams were about to start. But few students still came for some doubts and sometimes to study in the library.

"Kyaaaa?" Sonali's shriek made everyone in the canteen look in their direction.

Naina tugged at her arm to make her sit back.

"Chilla kyon rahi hai, Sonali... sab dekh rahe hain." She glanced around.

"Sab na dekhen isliye tum dono ne aise chup ke ye kiya... aur kisi ko nahi toh kam se kam humein toh bata dete." Sonali was clearly annoyed.

"Haan Sameer, bhai maanta hai aur apni shaadi mein bulana toh door tune bataya tak nahi." Rahul was equally disappointed.

"Humein kahan pata tha, Rahul. Chachaji ne achanak parson bataya aur kal hi shaadi ho gayi... kuch samajh hi nahi aaya... maine toh abhi tak Munna Pandit ko bhi nahi bataya." Sameer tried to explain the situation.

"Par aisi kya jaldi hui tere chachaji ko, Naina... teri toh poori family hai... aur koi aaya bhi nahi?" Sonali was surprised by the whole thing.

Naina narrated the chaos that her father had created. Both Rahul and Sonali were stunned at his behaviour towards his daughter.

"Tere sage papa hain, Naina?" She asked in disbelief.

Naina lowered her face.

Sameer kept his hand over hers.

"Naina ko bhi shock laga tha... Rakesh sir itna bada kadam utha sakte hain yeh kissi ne nahi socha tha... woh toh Arjun ne phone karke bata diya isliye chachaji ne yeh sab kiya... warna Rakesh sir seedhe yahan pohoch jaate." Sameer kept the anger in his voice suppressed.

Sonali felt sad that her friend had to get married in such a way, "Shaadi jaisi itne khaas mauke ko barbaad kar diya tere papa ne... kitne sapne honge na tere."

"Chachaji ne kaha hai ki jab hum wapas jayenge toh fir se shaadi karwayenge... sab rasmon ke saath." Naina revealed.

"Arre waah. Fir toh pakka hum bhi aayenge... khub masti karenge." Sonali was excited.

"Hum toh aayenge hi... aakhir apne bhai ki shaadi hai... humare bina kaise hogi." Rahul patted his friend's back.

They excitedly discussed the plans of marriage once they went back to Ahmedabad.

Now I'll not be able to update for next two days. Please accept my apologies. Next update comes on wednesday.

Enjoy the festival and have a safe and happy diwali.
