I am so overwhelmed with the warm welcome I received from you all... never imagined that anyone could feel my absence so much
You all are definitely most important in my life now... second only to Samaina😊
I Love you all and am thankful for giving me so much love ❤
"Sameer, mangwa do na juice... mujhe pina hai... abhi." Naina pestered.
"Woh juice nahi... main tumhare liye orange juice ya campa cola mangwa deta hun." Sameer started to get up.
"Nahi, nahi, nahi... mujhe woh hi chahiye... bola na tumhe... baat nahi manoge apni jaan ki?" She tugged at his sleeve, widening her eyes innocently.
He melted at her expression... and her words... even contemplating for a moment that it would be okay to let her have one more drink... probably he would see a side which he had never seen... and which would never be possible in Ahmedabad.
"Umm... main tumhari baat ek shart pe manunga." He looked at her hopefully.
She pouted, "Kya?"
"Tum mujhe woh nighty dikhao." He grabbed the opportunity.
She furrowed her brows, "Sameer, nahi dikha sakti na... woh... woh tumhare dekhne ki nahi hai."
"Toh tumne khreedi hi kyon? Jab mujhe dikha nahi sakti toh pehenogi kaise?" He showed fake annoyance.
"Offo, tum bas gussa hi karte raho... maine kahan khareedi... main toh soch bhi nahi sakti thi... woh... woh... Sonali ne gift di... bina pooche layi thi." She blurted in irritation.
It was his turn to widen his eyes... Sonali had gifted her something that she was too shy to show him... even now...
He shifted close, looking into her eyes, "Naina, main pati hun tumhara... mujhse kaisi sharm... please, mujhe dekhna hai."
She bit her lip... his eyes caught the action instantly... but seeing her confusion, he realised she did not even come to know what she was doing. For the first time, he let it pass... if he took her on a different trip now, the topic of this elusive nighty would be forgotten... and she would never reveal it to him when she was in her senses... the chance was now... he had make use of her inebriated condition.
A feeling of guilt nagged him... but he shunned it.
"Biwi hai meri... mujhe haq hai... jo bhi ho... jaisa bhi ho... main dekh sakta hun... ab uske liye thoda mauke ka faayda uthaya toh kya hua... maine jaan bhujh ke thodi Naina ko woh juice pilaaya tha... aur kya hua pi liya toh... doosre log bhi peete hain." His mind voice gave him the much needed assurance.
"Dekha, maine kaha tha na... tum gussa ho... tum mujhse hi gussa ho... woh phool liye the maine... tumhe achha nahi laga na... main... main woh phool hi phenk deti hun." She got up suddenly... rushing away before he could say anything.
She stopped with a jerk as her saree stretched, noticing that the pallu was under his folded leg... when he had shifted close to her, he sat in it.
She waited... expecting him to release it.
He didn't... expecting her to come back.
What happened was no less than a shock for him... leaving him speechless at her valiant move.
She pulled off the saree... the whole of it... letting it drop to the floor... and walked off, swaying again... to the table where gifts and roses were left by the waiter a while back.
Sameer sat transfixed... watching her move around in the skirt and sleeveless blouse... not even a bit conscious.
By the time she reached the table, her thoughts were muddled. Seeing the gifts, she completely forgot about the reason she had come here... and picked up one box wrapped in golden paper.
"Gift dekhen?" She held the box, smiling brightly at himhim, waving at him to come over.
He was next to her in a couple of long strides, not able to resist slipping his hand around her soft, satiny waist.
"Uhh... yeh karne ko nahi bola... gift kholo." She squirmed.
"Tum baat ko taal nahi sakti... yeh gift tabhi khulenge jab tum woh karogi jo tumhe karna hai." He turned to face her, gripping her waist with both hands.
She narrowed her eyes, trying to remember what she was supposed to do.
"Nighty." He offered.
Her eyes cleared up with recollection... and hesitation.
He was losing patience now, "Naina, ya toh tum abhi leke aao nahi toh tumhe pehenna padega... aur nahi pehnogi toh... toh..."
She raised her brows in question.
"Toh main khud pehena dunga." His voice was barely audible... but she heard him.
A chill ran down her spine... freezing her to the spot.
When she didn't move for a few seconds, his hands moved up slowly, going to the hooks on her neck.
"Main... main... dikhati hun." She could see there was no way out now.
He let his hands drop, freeing her from his hold.
She turned towards their suitcases, kept on the rack against the opposite wall. Opening it gingerly, she fished out the packet.
Not able to keep his curiosity in check, he held out his hand for the packet.
She shook her head, moving towards the bed.
He reached the bed before her... ready to end the suspense that was killing him.
She stood against the bed, opening the packet... still hesitant. The moment he saw a hint of black, he pulled the fabric out.
The gasp that escaped his lips was only a fraction of his reaction.
The piece in his hand was a sheer black robe... sleeveless.
"Yeh... bas itna sa?" He blurted out.
She went crimson, quickly taking out another piece... in silver grey.
He looked at the silver inner... and realised why Naina was reluctant to show it to him.
It was short beyond imagination... just reaching her thighs, he was sure. Two strings were the only thing to keep it in place. A deep neck and thick lace comprised the front, upto the waist. The back did not even have the lace... it started only from waist. The sheer black robe did not offer any coverage.
The blood in his veins heated up just by seeing the daring nighty. If Naina wore it...
He looked up at her.
Naina was still... holding her breath... she wasn't sure what would be his reaction... in spite of telling him that it was a gift from Sonali, what if he again got angry, for keeping it with her, or for bringing it along.
"Main... main galti se le aayi, Sameer... woh... woh jaldi mein... packing ke time jaldi mein... " She fumbled.
The tumultuous hammering of his heart was so loud against the ribs, he was scared it would crack a few of them. His pulse had gone chaotic... breath coming out in frenzied gasps. His hand holding the sensational outfit was trembling.
The nighty had truly blown his mind. He himself would have never thought of buying anything like this for her. In fact, he had not seen such sets in the shops he had ever been... which was with Naina of course. Even the one shop he had visited alone, in Mumbai, did not have such designs.
Or did they...
He had just seen the pink one in display window... and had gone in to buy it. He had not seen any more designs.
Seeing his silent state, Naina was sure now that he was unhappy. She tried to take the nighty from his hands, planning to put it back in the suitcase.
"Main isse kabhi nahi pehnungi, Sameer... tum... tum chinta mat karo... phenk hi dungi... pata nahi Sonali ko aisa kuch... par main isse apne paas nahi rakhungi." She tried to free it from his grip.
"Naina." His voice was guttural, as he clutched the fabric, not letting it go.
"Do naa... wapas rakh deti hun." She gave him a perplexed look.
"Pehen ke dikhao." His raspy voice stunned her.
"Pe... pehen ke... main... tum pagal toh nahi ho gaye." Laughter spurted out of her.
His free hand went behind her head, tilting it back to face him, "Pagal hi ho gaya hun... soch ke ki tum pe yeh nighty kaisi lagegi."
"Sam... Sameer." She stuttered, seeing the eyes as dark as the night outside.
"Mere liye... please." He implored.
His eyes and tone confirmed that he wasn't joking... she felt her knees go weak.
"Na... nahi... yeh toh bohot... bohot choti hai... aur... aur... " She eyed the lacy front, and non existent back.
"Toh kya hua... mere saamne hi toh pehen rahi ho... aur mujh se kaisa parda?" He said hoarsely.
She shook her head again... aghast at the thought of wearing it in front of him. She had failed to muster courage to wear it herself... just to see how it looked.
"Theek hai... ab main khud hi pehena deta hun." He swiftly went to her neck, opening the top three hooks before she staggered back.
His hands held her at the waist.
"Tum... ya main?" He looked deeply into her eyes.
Her lips quivered, knowing fully well that he didn't mean it as a threat.
"Main... main khud pehen lungi." Her voice was a low whisper as she took it from him.
He left her, taking few steps back... and leaned against the wall, arms crossed against his chest.
"Yahan?" She was appalled at his hint.
He shrugged, giving a sly smile.
She fled to the washroom. He didn't stop her. Taking his jacket off, he opened the two buttons of his shirt... the weather didn't feel cool anymore.
It had been more than fifteen minutes when he knocked softly, "Naina, main intezar kar raha hun."
There was no reply.
He knocked again, "Bahar aao... nahi toh main andar aa raha hun."
He waited for a few seconds, holding his hand up to knock again when the door opened with a click sound.
"Light off kardo." Her voice drifted out.
He ran back to switch off the light, leaving only a single bedside lamp on.
"Apni aankhen band karo." Her voice was shaky.
"Kar li." He could agree to anything she said now.
She took a step ahead... a lightness gripped her head, making her sway again. She held on to the basin, holding one hand to her head.
"Naina." He called out again.
Taking a few deep breaths, she opened the door, walking out slowly, feeling a warmth spread in her head.
He stood with his eyes shut. She stopped a few steps away from him.
"Ab main aankhen khol raha hun." He declared, not having more patience.
The scene that greeted him was something he had not even dreamt of... he couldn't call it a dream come true. It was an out of the world sight.
Naina... his Naina... his beautiful wife... stood in front of him, in a skimpy nighty that left almost the whole legs bare... the lacy front bunched right under her curves... her creamy shoulders were visible through the transparent black gown... her slender arms were exposed in the blouse too... but now they looked more delectable. Long hair framed her face, a few strands resting over the shoulders, a little ruffled.
To his surprise, she wasn't looking as shy as he would have expected. Her eyes were more droopy, but focussed on him.
He was left spellbound... both by her attire and her deep look.
When he stood riveted, she started to walk to him, taking slow, little unsteady steps. Her lips curled into a hint of smile, seeing him completely lost. Dipping her head to the side, she flicked up her brows, taking her lower lip under the teeth.
Sameer felt himself breaking into a sweat... she was a seductress.
Taking a step back, she held the sides of black gown, and swirled...
He breath got stuck in throat as he got a view of her bare back through the sheer gown.
"Bataoge nahi... kaisi hai... yeh nighty?" She asked in a low voice, the slur heavier now.
He tried to speak... words failed him... voice failed him.
Breathing hard, he moved towards her, cupping her face with one hand.
She rested her face on the palm, moving to close the distance between them.
His other hand went to her shoulder, tracing the noodle string... he slipped off the gown down her shoulders... taking his hands back to the gleaming shoulders, coming down slowly.
She drew in a sharp breath, feeling his hands as they continued their exploration over the satiny fabric. His open buttons gave a glimpse of the chest. Involuntarily, her hands moved up, going to the remaining buttons. To his surprise, not even one lost its place. She opened them with ease, pulling out the tucked shirt. He shrugged it off instantly. Her hands and eyes feasted on the bare expanse in front of her. Leaning, she kissed over the heart.
"Naina, aaj toh tum meri jaan hi le logi." He whispered, losing his mind... everything about her was different today... everything was casting a spell on him.
She lifted her heels, kissing the jaw that looked darker now, "Tumhe aise dekh ke mujhe kuch hota hai."
"Aur tumhe dekh ke mujhe bohot kuch ho raha hai." He wrapped his arms around her, lifting her off the ground.
She giggled, "Gira toh nahi doge?"
The crinkling sound of her laughter enticed him even more... this Naina... his always timid, demure Naina... was teasing him... laughing at him... was at ease with herself, her exposing outfit... was an enchantress under the influence of alcohol...
And he was loving it... madly.
Taking her to the bed, his eyes never leaving her, he put her down gently.
She fell back, rolling over to the other side... and stayed with her back to him.
The hair had slipped to one side, leaving her back... and the legs bare.
He gulped.
Going up to her, he touched the shoulder.
She didn't move.
He leaned, placing a kiss on the curve of her arm.
She didn't move.
He slipped his arm around her waist, turning her to face him.
Her eyes were closed... breathing was even.
He looked in horror...
She had fallen asleep.
This dress was the inspiration for the description I gave... with some changes.
Next update tomorrow morning.
