She turns back to look at him. Giving her a warning look he says "tumhara ek aur punishment". Then he speeds up his car, making her to jerk back. At first it becomes difficult for her to articulate what is happening, but at last clearing her mind she says, "Aap, aap ye kahan le ja rahe hain mujhe?" Since the car was running at a high speed and creating too much noise, she was forced to increase her voice to make herself audible. 

Giving her a side glance he says, "kamaal hai Ananya, ab tumhe mujh par itna bharosa bhi nahi, ki bina ye jaane ki main tumhe kahan le ja raha hoon, tum mere saath jaogi hi nahi?"  She lowers her eyes, feeling bad that she made him to feel that way, but of course she didn't mean to say that. Knowing that he won't accept any explanation now, she chooses to remain quiet. 

The swift turn of the wheels, makes her to almost fall on him, but she manages to halt the fall, by holding him by his left thigh. The contact makes Kabeer to exhale. But he manages to make it inaudible. "Please dheere" she pleads. But he doesn't listen. Suddenly he applies breaks, too hard, which results into making Ananya to almost fall forward, but Kabeer holds  her by her upper arm and pulls her back.

When their breathing rate come to a normal speed, Kabeer says "Yeh tumhari ek aur saza. Kaisi lagi tumhe yeh saza Ananya?"Tears well her eyes but she controls herself. Then she turns back to look out through the car's window, to give herself, time to relax. She feels a bit relaxed that at last she has managed to steal herself from his scrutinizing look.

Unbuckling his seat belt, he moves closer to her, she tries to get back, but there was no escape route. "Bhagna hai mujhse? Bhago!" he challenges her. She keeps staring him with her moist eyes. Then she manages to say, which is almost a whisper "Aapne kaha tha na hum baat nahi karenge, to hum baat kyu kar rahe hain?" "Tumhe lagta hai ki hum baat kar rahe hain?" he asks her, amazed. Then smiling he whispers "Ab Ananya tumhari saza yeh hai ki tum bilkul awaaz nahi karogi. Hum jahan hain , ye ek sunsaan jagah hai. Agar tumne thodi si bhi awaaz ki to koi bhi agar durr se bhi guzar raha ho to tumhari awaaz sunn sakta hai, aur mujhe yakeen hai ki tum bilkul nahi chahogi ki kisi ko bhi ye pata chaley ki humare beech kya ho raha hai!" says Kabeer, with a slight smile on his lips, but he is fully serious about what he is saying."Kya ho raha hai humare beech?" asks Ananya with a trembling voice.Smiling he sits back and observes her, then asks"kuch nahi ho raha humare beech?" "Nahi!" she replies, seeing anywhere but at Kabeer. "Hmmm... fir tumhari dhadkane kyu badh rahin hain?" "Aisa... Aisa kuch nahi hai!" "Tum itna soch samjh kar kyu bol rahi ho? Jaise ki tumhe darr ho ki kahin tum kuch aisa na keh do jo tumhe nahi kehna chahiye!""Please..." "Kya?" "Mujhe janey dijiye", she says, her eyes closed. "Tum jana chahti ho?" as soon as he whispers this, she opens her eyes and says"Nahi..." tears roll down her cheeks. 

"Kamaal hai Miss Kashyap, maine to tumhe danta bhi nahi, fir ye aansun kyu?"whispers Kabeer, rubbing her tears, rolling down her left cheek with his thumb. Then getting closer to her left ear he whispers, "Abhi to bus haath se ponch raha hun aansu ko, abki baar agar ek aur boond gira, to main tumhare har aansu ko apne honthon se..." as he was about to say further, Ananya covers his mouth with her palm.
