Again the same habit both nandini and ifra looked at him

" Mujhe pata hain ab tu jaanbujhkar  , kar raha hain... Taaki tujhe un dono ka attention mil sake nahi? " again the subconscious was back with a packet of chips in his hand

" Lekin dono bhi toh dekhte haina mere " jaan " kehne par... What's your problem?  They're mine.. Tu ja yaha se " manik snapped back to his subconscious

" Nandini kyu dekhti hain tu uske " jaan " kehne par.. Uffff!  breath in, breath out " she shouted at herself

" ifra aap ko bula rahe hain dadda"he now mentioned ifra's name specifically

So currently they were on their way to have dinner in manik's car

" Kya khaoge aap? " he asked lovingly while driving the car

" Ifla no " she pouted and then burried her face in nandini's chest...

Nandini immediately caressed her hair and gave her love

While manik cringed his eyebrows in confusion

" Ifra jaan, kya hua... Dadda ko bolo " he said stopping the car

He looked at nandini worriedly, who blinked her lashes back in assurance

Nandini sighed saying

" Khana nahi khana hain "

" Kyu?  Kya hua? " he asked with worry dripping in his voice

" wahi problem,  Baaki sab cheezon pe tumpe gayi hai... Sirf khane ki aadat chod kar "
She said gripping ifra more in her arms

While manik smiled when nandini called ifra as his daughter also.. He was on top of the world right now

" pumpkin you'll eat right?  Please for mamma and dadda " she faced him listening to his pleads and served him a beautiful smile

Ifraaa baby, why are you so cute😍

Even nandini smiled, nandini cupped her baby's cheeks and asked

" Mamma ka feedy chahiye aapko? Hmm... Feedy peena hain? " she asked caressing her hair

While ifra scrunched her nose, she was thinking about it

Ifra then looked at nandini cutely and nodded her head positively

" Feedy ke saath, you'll also have little bit food... Please jaan " ifra again looked irritated as her mamma increased her eating quota

" Okay we can do one thing, pumpkin will have little amount of mamma's feed and little amount of food.... That would be fine right? " manik came up with a superb idea

Nandini bent her head and asked
" Would it be fine with mamma's love? "

Nandini breathed a sigh of relief when ifra agreed to their condition

Nandini saw manik getting out of the car with windshield in his hands

" Kya kar rahe ho? " she asked softly

" You need to feed ifra, and i don't want anyone to look at you while you feed her " he stated his reason of applying the windshield

" So does it mean, even you'll stay out of the car?  " this is the new nandini murthy, she's beauty with brains

Ab kya jawaab doge manik malhotra? 😎

" Why would i stay out?  Am i not allowed?  I mean will you be uncomfortable with me around while you feed pumpkin? " he looked nervous

" I may be, because i don't know what you did behind my back with alia... Matlab main isiliye bol rahi hu kyuki agar tum friends ke influence me aake mere saamne alia ko accept kar sakte ho unke influence me aake...... She stopped if you know what i mean " they both kept their volumes extremely low not wanting all this things to affect ifra

" whattt?  Nandini!  Please stop there itself...aisa kuch nahi hain jaisa tum soch rahi ho please... I swear " he got a bit emotional but of course it wasn't nandini's fault

" Nobody, i repeat nobody can stop me from keeping my opinions... If i feel something i don't bitch about it behind a person's back rather i keep it straight forward " there you goo nandini 😎

" And considering you ! You come under influences alot...." she taunted him

" I mean first of all I'm shocked.. You've a girlfriend waiting for you in the party and you are here with me?  Who's supposed to drop your girlfriend home manik? " boom another big bomb thrown on manik by nandini

" Nandini , but!  What happened to you suddenly?  We were fine moment's back " he didn't get her here

" manik if I'm not rising the things again and again instead I'm keeping quite.. That doesn't mean I've forgotten everything... It simply means I've a lot of things still unanswered in my heart.. Which is brutally hurting me.. But you know what Mr malhotra?  I'm used to it.. " nandini ended her sentence with a self satisfied smirk

" I know you've a lot of things going on inside you... It'd be easy for you if you clear out things.. Please.. I request you " he wanted her to get relieved from her unbearable pain

" Even if i clear things out, it won't make a difference for me mr malhotra because ...I'VE STOPPED CARING!  " she concluded her statement

" and if you want you can now get inside the car bcoz we need to feed ifra food also and secondly i know how to hide my assests "

Manik then removed the windshield again and put it in the cars dikki

Saying this she took out a stole from her hand bag and then kept her handbag on the backseat... She held ifra carefully till her chest and then folded her legs on the seat

She placed ifra on her laps methodically and pushing her hands inside her top she carefully took out her bud and attached it to ifra's lips

It was not even visible to manik all the things she did, then others seeing it was impossible

She meant it when she said
" I Know how to hide my assests"

Manik knocked at the window and gestured... As if asking

" should i come in? " he knew how to respect her

She nodded back at him positively

Manik very carefully got settled on his seat and decreased the ac temperature.. By now he was known tp ifra's habits

" How am i supposed to ask for her forgiveness.. Will she ever forgive me? " he questioned back himself with tears glistening his eyes

At a time a drop of tear was about to fall but before that he wiped it

Only if he would've known that nandini was watching him! 😪

" I can see he's trying to control his tears but even he knows I'm the one before whom he cries his heart out always! " she thought gulping a lump also remembering their old days...

Even though she states she hates him but seeing him in pain would be the last thing she'd wish for!

" Manik ! " His gaze averted from the steering wheel to nandini

" Ye... s" his voice came cracking

Both were in pain 😢

" Chale? " she asked

" Ifra?  She's having her feed right?" he didn't for once looked at her body.. He was too busy in staring at her beautiful face

" It'd be fine, she has a habit of getting feeded in the car " she informed him

" jaan! Dadda's  gonna start the car "he confirmed once again to his baby...

While nandini giggled hidingly at his cuteness

ifra shaked her little feets getting excited after listening
" jaan" and aslo a gesture for him to start the car

MaNan admired their little love , her feet shake was immeasurably cuteeee

" Adora, you're not done " manik looked at nandini once he heard her

" Kya hua? " he asked softly

" She stopped taking it in" she informed manik

" Adora thoda sa aur baby please " nandini requested

" Jaan thoda sa peelo aapko strong ban'na haina?  " even he supported nandini

Seeing manik and nandini both requesting her she started sucking again

Manik waited for nandini's answer, bcoz how is he supposed to know if ifra started sucking or not  ? 🙈

Nandini looking in his eyes and nodded positively.....

Manik's car screeched at one of the most famous and renowned hotels of Mumbai

He got out of the car and opened the door at nandini's side... He bent down and forwaded his hands to take ifra in his arms

He stood taking ifra in his arms and pecked ifra's forehead lovingly

He then forwarded his hands before nandini being a gentleman

But nandini being nandini royally ignored it and stepped down on her own

Pachka!  Ho gaya manik ka 😂 okay sorry 😐

Nandini smiled looking at the hotel's view, she couldn't ask for more tonight

They entered the hotel....

As soon as they entered a lot of gazed turned towards MaNanRa

They were shocked to see the most Handsome bachelor and the most beautiful single mom with a gorgeous baby together

As soon as they stepped in,  a little boy came running towards manik and smiled at him cutely

Seeing the cute little boy, manik went on his knees with ifra in his arms

" Hello! " wished manik

" Hello rockstar, I'm a very big no how can i be big ..because I'm small? He pouted innocently yes i am a little fan of yours.. Can you please give me an autograph? " everyone present there were still not out of the shock after seeing MaNanRa together

This just brought up a lot of immediate past memories before nandini

Does anyone of you remember nandini's words from talent hunt?

While seeing all this ifra spared a look at nandini who blew a flying kiss back at ifra... seeing the little boy ifra clutched more onto manik's neck

" Of course, why not? You never have to request ...lekin main autograph kaha du? " said manik gripping ifra more into him

The little boy removed his cap and handed it to manik...

" Yaha! " he said pointing at his cap

Manik smiled  and gave his autograph, getting the autograph from the biggest rockstar made the boy very happy... The boy thanked manik

He ran away from there to his parents to show them what he got

Manik stood on his feets only to see ifra's face hid in his neck

" I'm only ifra's dadda " this made ifra super happy.. She again came back to her jolly mood

Manik saw the dirty glares of some " panchayti " (nosy)  people staring at his beautiful family

He immediately dipped ifra's face in his neck and clutched nandini's waist..

Nandini faked a smile at him, they started walking...

When he heard something which snatched the floor off his feets

" Duaayein di thi na maine, bacha bacha manik malhotra ko janega... Fab 5 ko janega.. Lekin tum mujhe kho chuke honge tab tak... Seee my wish came true ...

Ek chota sa baccha tak jaanta hain manik malhotra kaun hain... Lekin , tum mujhe kho chuke ho ...right manik? Tumne mere dil mein apne liye bepanah nafrat paida kardi hain " she said cringing her eyes with accusations in them

Manik malhotra had no answer ,what was he supposed to say?  He never realized it untill she made him realize it...

But her last sentence was like bunch of thorns crossing across his chest

Why did i leave her before four years?  Why manik idiot malhotra?  I ruined everything... Whyyyyy?

When nandini saw manik coming out of the shock zone she chuckled sarcastically

" Yaad nahi aa raha manik?  " she asked innocently

" Sab yaad hain , nahi tha toh aaj tumne yaad dila diya... Lekin ek baat ka aaj mujhe ehsaas hua hain ki ab yeh MANIK MALHOTRA tumhe apna banane ke liye, tumhari maafi paane ke liye kuch bhi kar sakta hain...

Kuch bhi... Ye jo ab hua, isne sirf mujhe aur mazboot bana diya hain tumhari maafi lene ke liye " he ended his sentence with a smile

While ifra was unaware of her parent's tashan

" Over confident are we Mr malhotra?  Let's see! Tum kuch kar bhi sakte ho ya nahi "

Uffff nandini murthy crushed his over confidence it seems

" Ahan!  Mrs....he stammered i mean Ms murthy.. It's not Over confidence... It's love "

Thank your stars manik , your toungue did not slip 😂

" The love!  Which allows you to betray your lover? "

Dayummmmm again silence occupied them

" The love which is now allowing me to make efforts, beg, request before you for your forgiveness "

He was trying his best to get back to the love of his life

" But before that, i am getting hunger pangs... I need to have food...we'll see it later if you'll be able to get my forgiveness or not " she smiled again, let me mention a sarcastic one

" May i? " he forwarded his hand to take her in

" No, I'd walk on my own.... Thank you "

That savage attitude nandini murthy holds 🔥

One of the managers came to recieve them

" Manik malhotra "

" Who doesn't know you sir and mam...this way please " they were impressed with the hospitality

He brought them towards a four table seat....

" please have a seat "

" we need a sofa dine not this , a private one " he cared for ifra's sleep

" Sir..." he didn't got the chance to complete

" My baby needs to be comfortable.. I hope I'm very clear" the waiter looked shocked with the new found information

The most eligible bachelor has a baby already? 

Getting scared with manik MALHOTRA'S rage... He walked them till the sofa dine

Manik stepped back and let nandini enter and sit first  ..he then sat beside them with ifra in his arms

Nandini and ifra got busy with each other when manik got busy with the menu

" Still the same habit, she knows I'd order for her " he saw her not paying attention to the food but to ifra

" what would you like to have sir? "

Manik gave the order, the waiter was about to leave when

" Listen don't forget to make everything less spicy... And also i need a bowl of mashed potatoes. And in sweet dishes we'd want payasam"

The waiter nodded positively and left

As soon as the food came nandini's nostrils hit with a strong aroma of tandoori chicken

Tandoori chicken *drooling* 😭

Manik had ordered paneer tikka for nandini and lots of more veg dishes as nandini was a vegetarian

But for himself and ifra he ordered non veg..

Manik took the bowl of mashed potatoes and was about to feed ifra

When suddenly

" Manik no " saying this nandini pushed the spoon away from ifra's mouth

She immediately took a tissue paper and wiped ifra's lips

" Nandini, kya hua? " he asked being unsure

" Manik she's allergic to pepper "  manik looked petrified... He again was welcomed with a new shock

Bcoz even he's allergic to pepper

He was about to feed ifra, omg what if he would've fed her... The consequences would surely not been better... Thanks to nandini.. She's so attentive when it comes to ifra

He was guilty, his baby love would've suffered

Seeing him drowing in a pool of guilt ..nandini poised herself and held his shoulder...

" it's okay manik, it's not your fault... You didn't knew it... Please don't blame yourself... It's just that she's has been allergic to it since the day she was born... At the end she has your genes "

He smiled at her understanding,  hugging ifra tightly he whispered

" Dadda is sorry love " he apologized to her gently

" If i would've not left her, i would've known everything about ifra's likes, dislikes her allergies.. Every damn thing. But no monster manik malhotra you chose to ruin everything " he regretted leaving her with each of his breaths

Manik then ordered a new bowl of mash potatoes without pepper in it....

" Manik khudko dekh, nandini aur apni beti ko dekh... Kitna kam khati hain dono... Ifra toh khane ke mamle me bilkul apni maa pe gayi hain " manik's subconscious returned back again after throwing the empty packet of chips in the dustbin

Teraaa peecha na chodunga : says subconscious

" Tu ja na mere bhai !" manik snapped back as usual

Meri toh koi kadar hi nahi hain...😏 main chala

Ifra held manik's hand as if stopping him from having food

She with her tiny little palms held the spoon and shakingly gathered the soup in it

"  Da-dd-a" she called manik and gestured him to bend down

Who obliged immediately

Ifra fed him the soup, which brought tears in nandini's eyes... She was so proud of her baby

Even manik's eyes started shedding tears.. They were blessed for sure to have this angel as their baby

" Thank you dadda's love... Dadda loves you so much " he said pecking her chubby cheeks numerous times

Ifra giggled at it beautifully, she did the same with nandini also

Who pecked her forehead being emotional

Nazar na lage, puts kaala teeka ⚫

After the family dinner ifra automatically drifted into her beautiful slumber

Once again manik was there to leave them at murthy mansion...

" I hope you had a good day " said manik after stepping out of the car and opening door for nandini

" I always have good days with ifra beside me " she responded back

Kabhi toh pyaar se baat kar sakti haina... : Manik thought 💭

" Thank you for the dinner and thanks for dropping us home , i think i should go... " spoke nandini cooing ifra

" Umm.. You never have to thank it was my duty... " he stepped forward only to cup her cheeks

He pecked her forehead lovingly untill nandini took a step back

" Umm... Manik!  You're not allowed to...... "

Manik didn't let her complete

" I Know and I'm sorry but i wanted to peck your forehead " apologized manik before taking ifra in his arms and giving her immense love

" Dadda's gonna miss you love! " he then handed her to nandini

" Bye " this was nandini's last sentence before entering the house

" Jab bhi tu mujhse dur chali jaati hai,
  Mere chaaron or tanhai ki hawa cha jaati hain  "

" Phir se mujhse dur ho gaye, wo waqt jab dono mujhse dur janr wale hote hain...darta hu main uss waqt se... Kaanp jati hain meri nase ye sochkar ki bas kuch lamhein baad phir main tanha ho jauga.. I love you  both nandini and ifra "

He drove back to malhotra mansion

........

" Nandini where were you?  And how was the reunion party?  Did you meet manik?  Or any other friends of yours?  Did fab 4 and that navya say or do something to you? "

Chirped betty, entering into nandini's room..

Who made ifra sleep in the middle of the bed with pillows stacked around her

"  Betty, betty you've so many questions lined up... And I'm so excited to tell you everything.. Just give me sometime to change and come "

" Come soon, because i can't even play with my baby bear she slept already... She's tired it seems "

Said betty admiring a sleepy ifra

" Yes she's damn tired and I'd be back in minute "

After nandini was back she told everything whatever happened in reunion.. And also her meet with her bestfriend's.. Manik's band cancellation

" omg!  This happened?  For real? Manik just disbanded fab 5, whattttt? I'm so happy.. I'm so happy.. I'm so happy.. I'm so happy" betty went on her feets and started doing the happg dance

Nandini held betty back and started talking futher

" Yes he disbanded fab 5.. He denied to perform with them ...."

" and I'm so happy you met your old best friends... I'm sure you all had a great time " betty is such a sweetheart

" But the fact can't be ignored that i missed betty and ifra missed her betty tetty... Get that "

Betty raised her hands up saying
" I'm so sorry, i missed y'all too "

" So how was the time with manik?"

" It was good with me throwing reality checks or call it taunts at him "  said nandini rolling her eyes and betty doing a Hifi

" He surely needed those, what say?  " they both laughed their guts out

So finally the reunion night came to an end and the morning was welcomed with birds chirping

Nandini herself got ready and made ifra ready too.. they had to visit Aryaman and ahana's place along with some meetings in between

" Nandu di aapke liye ye aaya hain" said rishab handing an evelope to nandini....

Who took it from his hands and kept it inside her handbag

" Ye kya tujhe chittiyan aati rehti hain.. Aaraam ka toh naamo nishan nahi hain " chachi said

" Shanno jii ab wo sirf nandini nahi balki businesswoman bhi hain.. Unhe aise letters aate rehte hain aap nahi samjhoge " he winked at chachi who glared at him for making her blush

Bichare chacha 😂

" Chachi main chalti hu " she said carrying ifra in her arms and her hand bag on another

Amms wasn't present as she had gone to visit one of her friends who was ill

" Ha puttar sambhal ke jao tum teeno... Dhyaan rakhna apna " chachi said bidding them bye till their car

In the car Nandini handed envelope to betty and asked her to read it

Betty fumbled because she was alien to all the words

" Gh... an... Paa...  ..,,, uff nandini I'm not able to pronounce it " she stuffed the letter back in nandini's hands

" Ganesh chaturthi
I invite you for the ganesh sthapna held tomorrow at 8 am
The ganesha darshan will be starting from 9 30 onwards

   Nandini looked trembled reading the last line

         Please aajao, I've kept this for ifra's betterment.. Don't be shocked please !

" don't be shocked?  How am i supposed to not be shocked ..i freaking will be shocked.. Manik malhotra.. Manik malhotra who never believed in god is up for ganesh sthapana tomorrow?  ..he's done this for ifra's betterment?  How suddenly?  Should i really attend it ? Of course i will attend it's for our baby's betterment.... But manik doing this is shocking ...no one's happier than me right now "
