I know y'all had to wait a lot and I'm really very sorry for making y'all wait but... It happened due to the diwali vacation

It showed 3am at the clock, nandini just blinked her eyes and now she knew her sleep said adieu for some time...

She turned to her left and saw her life cuddling into her, as usual with her lips into a pout

She sat on the bed with the support of the bed rest... She carefully took ifra in her arms and made her lie on her laps.... She started caressing ifra's baby soft hair....

Don't know when exactly she went back to three days before..Their meet with manik... His initiative of coming forward and kissing her forehead she remembered

But still she hadn't forgiven him because no one... I repeat no one knows or witnessed the struggle she went through...

It would take a strong heart to listen to her struggles... It would surely have made you cry.. Her journey from just Nandini murthy to the owner of the most famous music company wasn't easy or rather say very difficult...

Then how on earth can people expect her to forgive the person who made her go through all this?  ..but somewhere she also knew that she observed change in manik.... It was something she wasn't able to ignore....

But what if he turns out taking impulsive decisions again ? How is she gonna cope up with it?  She never considered herself but what about her daughter?  ...how would she feel after learning about her father's betrayal or witnessing him doing it again?...

She at any cost can't see her baby going through all that.... She knew manik love ifra like anything but he also promised to love ifra's mother so passionately in the past... What came out as a result?  She was thrown out of manik's life as ppl throw a mosquito out of  tea

She bit her lips in perplexity

Her mind just rewined with the beautiful evening of the trio..

F L A S H B A C K

Manik took both the mother daughter duo towards the nursing room...

They stopped at the gate , when manik pecked ifra's little palms and said

" Aap log jao dadda is here waiting outside for mamma and baby... Fill your stomach properly jaan " he kissed ifra's forehead and looked at nandini...

Who getting alert of manik's gaze turned her glance somewhere else

Manik just smiled sadly, knowing how unworthy had he turned of not even getting a chance to look into his nandini's beautiful eyes

After manik was done with the bidding bye session, nandini opened the door and entered inside...

She sat on the comfy sofa and made ifra lie on her laps.... She firstly removed the small baby blanket of ifra which she always used to carry...

She covered ifra and her right shoulder along with her buds properly

" Adora open your mouth baby " adora obliqued and nandini feeded her

After 10 minutes ifra was done,

" Jaan bas itni si bhuk lagi thi aapko?  Thoda aur peelo... Hmm"

Ifra just nodded a no and nandini was content that even if little her baby had something

She settled her T-shirt properly

The duo came out only to witness manik walking from here to there in the corridor

" Mai andar kyu nahi ja sakta?  When I'm ifra's dadda ...how would they be?  Thik toh hoge na... Ohh myyy lorddd itni tension hoti hain mujhe.... Bas 2 minute mujhse dur jate hain aur meri saasein upar neeche hone lagti hain.... "

This was the thing which was on in manik's mind continuously... He was restless to meet his loves

He turned around only to see confusion written on nandini's face

" did she had her feed properly?  Main bhi kya puch raha hu..tum hamesha ifra ka dhyaan rakhogi.... " nandini just nodded

" Umm, sab theek haina ? Were you both comfortable while feeding? "

"yes" retaliated nandini

".Umm... If... Ifra ke liye... Toys... Toys lane jaye? " he was skeptical about nandini's respone

" Yaa ..." this was the only thing Nandini said

They walked towards the kids section

......

As per ifra's habit, her mother let her walk on her own  ...just by holding her little hands...

Nandini was about to stand straight when she saw manik holding the other little hand of ifra's....

Ifra looked at her and gifted him with a beautiful smile...

From the back side nobody could tell that they were not  a family and they really needed to solve alot of issues

Ifra was roaming around the toy shop, but manan were running behind her.... Both were carefull so that she doesn't slips or gets herself hurt

Ifra liked a toy but she showed to her mamma first
Nandini knew ifra would not buy anything without taking her permission

So she went on her knees and cupped ifra's face.... Looking at them even manik went on his knees

" Adora? You want this toy?..... " asked nandini while ifra nodded positively

This habit of ifra was loved by nandini.... But the fact can't be ignored that he also felt bad of his daughter not asking for him to buy her toys rightfully

But nandini also knew, that manik wants to buy gifts for ifra

" Jaan , go to dadda and give this to him.... He wants to purchase a gift for you right?  ....aapko mamma se permission chahiye thi na?  Ifra nodded mera samajdar baccha..... " nandini pecked ifra's forehead

Ifra handed the toy to manik.... Manik immediately took ifra into his arms... He was crying hard

" Mera baccha.... Dadda loves you so much.... I'm sorry for not being with you both... I'm.... He choked , due to continous crying thank you for letting dadda buy you a gift he looked at nandini then , Even after knowing that she wouldn't want then too he held her hands and kissed it....

Thank you so much for raising such a wonderful child.. She's just like you jaan "

Nandini not wanting to create a scene before ifra, kept quiet..... Even though she liked it when somebody compliments her about ifra's good manners ...

But today there wasn't just somebody... He was the one whom she loved whole heartedly

Ifra saw tears in manik's eyes, and as per her she doesn't at all likes tears

" cly cly? " (cry cry?) asked ifra and wiped his trears

" Don't cry manik,  she doesn't likes it " informed nandini with a straight face

But the question is it only because ifra doesn't like her dadda's  tears or also because it was unbearable for nandini too?

Manik wiped his tears...

" Dadda won't cry "
Said manik

Manik bought 10 bags ,while returning from the counter which only had toys for ifra....

" She already has many toys manik " informed nandini

" i know, tumne usse koi cheez ki kami nahi rakhi hogi.. Par mai yeh ifra ko gift ke taur pe dena chahta hoon.... Is it okay please mana mat karna " explained manik and nandini nodded

Manik handed all the bags to nandinis bodyguards and asked them to keep it in nandini's car...

After sometime

" Ummm.. Now we'll have to leave... " said nandini getting up from her place..

Manik who was playing with ifra stopped after listening nandini's sentence.....

Nandini didn't wanted to spoil the moment, but she also remembered her family waiting for her and ifra

" thodi der aur " tried manik to convince nandini

"  Every one is waiting for me and adora.. So we'll have to leave " explained nandini

Manik had no option other then nodding positively... So after pecking ifra's forehead, he half heartedly handled ifra to nandini

" bye dadda " said ifra with waving her hands at manik

Manik sat on the same spot and cried his heart out... The second they used to leave him.. He used to feel alone... he used to get scared ..As if someone again pushed him into darkness

Flashback ends

Nandini caressed ifra's chest as she coughed in her slumber

"  Koi peeche se dekh kar keh hi nahi sakta tha ki hum ek family nahi hain... Lekin kisi ko yeh bhi toh nahi pata ki kitni shikayatein, dooriyan hain hamare darmiyaan...

Jaate jaate Bhale hi maine manik ko dekha nahi hoga.. Lekin unke aasuo ka ehsaas ho jata hai mujhe....

Aur ab toh teen din ho gaye hain wo mujhse aur ifra se nahi mila..mujhe andaza hain ke uske friends ne hi usko dhoka diya.. Lekin mujhe bhi toh dhoka manik ne hi diya tha...

Kaise maaf kardu usse?  Kaise?"

Thinking about all this the clock showed 6 30 am... So she knew now there's no place for sleep...

She made ifra sleep comfortably on the bed and stacked lots of pillows around her... Assuring herself about ifra's safety... She left to take a bath

Taking bath, she came outside and wore her south Indian saree.. As she thought of doing the pooja herself today...

( Nandini saree) 

Nandini had tied her silky hair into a bun.... She wrapped a white mogra around her bun.... She filled her eyes with kohl... She had worn a 24 k golden chain around her neck.. With titan watch in her slimmy hand

After getting ready,  she saw ifra was sleeping...  she never wanted to disturb ifra's sleep.. So she went towrds her cupboard and brought a small baby blanket and wrapped ifra in it.... She carefully took ifra in her hands and locking the door moved out

As soon as she entered the living room.. She saw betty already awake and was doing something on her laptop

" Betty, you woke up so early?  You are fine right.. Do you want something? "

Asked nandini worriedly

" Ohh my godddd nandu, you look so beautiful... Where are you going early in the morning?  And don't worry I'm totally fine.. It's just that i had slept early yesterday so woke up early today "

" Ohhh... Then you should've come to my room... Why you are sitting here alone? "

Said nandini

" No nandu, i thought to just go through schedules and fix your meetings.. Nothing else " said betty

" but then too.... Okay let's forget it... I've made the agreement and went through it... It was all good.. So the work is over...  the next meeting with fab 5 will also have this file.. Okay?  ...." said nandini

" You were working, that means even you were awake late at night.. And now you were giving me lectures for waking up early and working....  If you work it's fine?  I told you so many times to rest and not to work so much " pouted betty

" it's okay betty.. I didn't work much "

" yes!  Yes!  I know what do you mean by less work " betty made a face and Nandini laughed

" Are you done with working or still have to? " asked nandini

" No no I'm done " said betty shutting her laptop

" i just wanted you to sit while ifra is sleeping.... Will you please? "
Asked nandini

" don't you dare tell me please okay
..i would love to take care of ifra... Are you going somewhere? "

" No no, I'm just in the kitchen to prepare prasad "

" what is " Para... Parasad? " asked betty as she was new to this word

" It is food which we keep as offering before god " explained Nandini.

" okay " then betty took ifra in her laps who was busy sleeping , nandini pecking ifra's forehead left to the kitchen

........

On the other side...

Manik was seen awake with blood red eyes.. May be because of no sleep?  ..

Manik's pov

I know you all must be wondering why am i awake at 6 in the morning..... The answer is i am not able to sleep.. I am restless... And i also know you all are pretty familiar with the reason of my sleepless nights...it's just because I'm missing my nandini and my ifra..

It's like I  would turn mad if i don't see them one more day... But luckily my wait would be over tonight as today is the " SPACE REUNION DAY.. "  yes you heard it right... Today i'd be meeting them both...

Trust me I've not seen their beautiful faces from 3 days..... For me it seems to be 300 days... I hadn't had peaceful sleep without meeting them..

I even have no idea when the day starts and when it ends...it's just work and thinking about them for me... Now i don't care for anyone... Staying in the same house i haven't seen cabir's and abeer's face

Or may be he himself doesn't wanna face me....

I didn't meet nandini and ifra  , because come on what would I've said to nandini?  Coincidence?  Everyday it can't be co incidence right? ..but no more wait I'll see them today....

Space ,thinking about it gives me goosebumps... Literally....
Our memories.. Will she forgive me after remembering our good old happy days or hate me more after remembering the day and place where i left her?  ...

Complicated isn't it?

He moved out of the bed and went to take a bath.... After having bath he came towards his closet and went for a brown colour suit... But the redness in his eyes was still present...

He closed the door of his room and walked down the stairs... He passed through the hall way when he saw...

  MUKTI,  ALIA, NAVYA, DHRUV sitting on the couches with cabir and abhi beside them and abeer hugging his mamma..

So yes mukti was out of the jail and navya, alya and dhruv were sent back home from orphanage as one week of their punishment was completed

They didn't just stay there, they learnt new thing, new lessons.... They learnt how uncomfortable it feels when there's no bed for you to sleep

How hard it is to cook when there are no butlers to help and many more things

Listening to the " tuck " " tuck" of manik's shoes.. Even they turned back to see manik looking at them....

Seeing manik mukti ran towards him and hugged him tightly but manik had a straight and stern face on... He didn't hug her back ...how can he hug the one who hurted his little love...

" Manik itna ghussa hai mujhse?  Hug bhi nahi kar raha.... We were toh best friends na?.... Mujhe pata tha nandini ke aate hi tu hamein bhul jayega... " she again got successful in raising manik's anger... He pushed her back while she stumbled...

" Don't you dare say anything against her.... Am i clear?  "
Mukti felt very bad

"Space ka reunion hain aaj... Tumlogo ke liye letters aaye hain space se...it's in your room.. Go and read it once " he was about to leave the house without even having breakfast as he saw their faces

When he heard

" Hero " but listening to abeer's voice manik turned back

Abeer came running and hugged manik even manik hugged him back

" I missed you hero "
Confessed abeer, with tears in his eyes

" I missed you too champ, kaha the aap?  You were not in the mansion " said manik wiping his tears

" Dad took me to lonavla, i asked him about you.. He said you were busy.. So only me and dad would enjoy and next time even you would join us... I missed you soo much hero " he kept on crying

Manik then realized that cabir would've taken abeer along with him to lonavala to divert his mind

Manik looked at cabir who nodded in yes....

" It's okay, it's okay... Stop crying champ.. You know how much hero loves you right.... And you are toh so strong" said manik taking abeer in his arms...

Manik was about to go a bit early to the office today , but after seeing abeer crying he changed his mind and thought of spending some time with  abeer

So both of them moved towards the garden area and played to the fullest, manik was successful in bringing smile on abeer's face

Inside the mansion, cabir saw everyone talking to each other except for navya... Who was very quiet... May be it was likee something was going in her mind

Navya looked at him and smiled a little... But cabir ignored her and climbed the stairs....

.......

" Nandini puttar tu kya kar rahi hain kitchen me?  Tenu kuch chahiye?  Dass mainu " chachi went on with her punjabi

" Nahi chachi, meri aakh khul gayi thi toh maine socha aaj pooja aur prasad mai karlu.... "

" meri soni bacchi, hamesha khush reh... La mai teri kuch madad kar lu... " chachi as always was a sweetheart

" Meri pyaari chachi.. Thank you so much.. Lekin maine sab kuch bana liya hain... Baaki sab uth gaye? " asked nandini pulling the saree pallu out of her waist

" han sab uth gaye, tu haath dhole aur jake pooja kar chal " nandini nodded and washed her hands, then they both moved out

Nandini did the pooja and looking at nandini amms had proud shown in her eyes....

She caressed Nandini's cheeks

" meri pyaari kanna "  nandini just kissed amms cheeks who giggld in return

Nandini served everyone the prasad and sat along with them on the couch

Every one praised her for her cooking skills... She took ifra in her arms and pecked her lips..

Ifra opened her eyes and snuggled more into her mamma

" Uth gayi ifra?  Haan jaan...ninni complete hui aapki? " ifra just snuggled more into nandini's neck

Nandini pinched some amount of prasad and placed it in ifra's mouth... Who looked at nandini confused

" Jaan it's good... Just have it... "ifra then chewed it and again placed her head on nandini's chest

Nandini started caressing ifra's hair lovingly

" Nandini kanna, raat me reunion jane ki tayyari ho gayi?  Tum ja rahi ho na? " asked amms

" Ji amms and Ofcourse mai ja rahi hu.. Ifra bhi.... " amms again felt proud on nandini's decision

" That's very good kanna.... I'm proud of your decision... Shanno keh rahi thi... Tumlogo ko purane avatar me jana hain.. Matlab purane kapde? " nandini nodded after listening to amms question

" Accha, maine tumhare kapde rakhe hain pehle wale... You can wear any of them right "

" yes i will, i am excited to see myself in old nandini's outfit " the fact can't be ignored that she was also afraid to again remember her past

.....

" Navya kya hua?  Tum khush nahi lag rahi ho wapas aa kar? Kuch problem hain? " abhi showed his concern towards navya

But it seems like navya was in her own world, she didn't replied... So abhi had to pat her shoulder

Navya trembled due to the sudden touch

" kaha khoi hui ho tum?  Kab se bula raha hu?  Theek hona? " again abhi asked

" Haan mai, mai theek hu.. Mujhe kya hoga.... " she was herself confused,  so she grabbing the opportunity ran to her room

.......

Manik returned home back from office... The clock ticked 7 in the evening... The reunion was going to start at 8

So he went to his room ....

"  Purane kapde kaha hain... Ohhh mannn!  ...yaad kyu nahi aa raha " then he remembered and ran towards his old room... He grabbed his jackets and shorts....

He remembered everything from past ..how. he was then and now he had to stay in this ties, long pants... Waist coats and all..

He caressed his old clothes...

He again went to his room and got changed

Standing in front of the mirror... He felt excited to see nandini's reaction

He sprayed the perfume which nandini had gifted him in the past...

" Mai toh exactly purane wala manik malhotra lag raha hu... Nahi nandini ka Monster manik... Kitni yaadein judi hai in kapdon se....manik your daughter is going to see you like this today..... Ohhh myyy goddd I'm so excited.... Chalo let's gooo....

SPACE HERE I COME "

He descended down the stairs only to find everyone ready...

Everyone smiled at him but he had his straight face on

" Navya cabir.... Abeer kaha hain? " asked abhi as he didn't see abeer present

" woo -- wooo abeer... Ko " navya was stammering and fidgeting with her fingers

" waha pe harshad bhi present ho sakta hain... Aur hame hamare bacche pe uska saaya bhi nahi chahiye " explained cabir, while navya till now hadn't come over her zone...

" Mai kaise bhul gaya ki harshad bhi waha aa sakta hain..... What if he tries to hurt Nandini or pumpkin?... Noo noo i can't even let his shadow fall upon themm... I'll stay by their side till they reach murthy mansion...

But when realization hit him, he again became sad

Lekin manik kya tujhe pata hain ki nandini aur ifra sach me aayege?  What if they don't come?  " he asked questions to himself

The other ppl came in two respective cars but manik didn't really wanted to join him.. That's the reason why he went alone!

......

On the other side in murthy mansion...

Nandini opened her wooden cupboard... As soon as she opened it she found her and manik's picture sticked on the door of the cupboard.... It was the picture from the farmhouse..

She just caressed it lovingly.... With tears in her eyes... She opened the drawers and found a metal box

As soon as she opened it... She found her earrings in it.... The diamond one which manik had gifted her, her pretty jhumkis...

She remembered the second day after pandit's incident, when manik made her wear the earrings...

She removed her dress, which she had already worn in the past....

She went to the washroom and got changed...she wore the old jhumkis as well and also carried her old peacock side bag.... She was now a crying mess...

But then she also knew she had to control her tears anyhow for her baby.... So she did her make up exactly how she used to do before 4 years...

After that she made ifra ready.

" bu li ful  ( beautiful) " said ifra after seeing nandini. Even nandini giggled on ifra's compliment and pecked her cheeks saying

"  thank you mamma's love..."

" chalo let's go?  Is ifra ready? " asked nandini to ifra who nodded positively...

" Chachi , amms mai ja rahi hu " said nandini wearing her sandals with ifra in  her arms

" arey arey dikha toh sahi kaisi dikh rahi... 4 saal baad dekhugi mai apni purani nandu ko " said chachi running all the way from kitchen to the main gate with a spatula in her hand

" Chachi chachi... Calm down nahi ja rahi hu... Dekh lo mujhe.. Kaisi dikh rahi hu? "

Asked nandini

" Bohot soni lag rahi hain... Meri purani nandu.. Dar lag raha tha?  Purani cheezon se saamna karte waqt? " asked chachi making nandini face her

" aapko kaise pata chal jata hain hamesha? "

" kyuki main sirf chachi nahi maa bhi hu teri , ab bata "

" ha chachi dar lag raha tha purani cheezein dekh kar.. Lekin aaj sirf purani cheezein pehni hain maine lekin pehle ki tarah nahi ban gayi... Mai abhi aur strong ban gayi hu chachi... Aap tension mat lo.. Mai theek hu "

" mujhe tujhse yahi ummeed thi nandu....naaz hain hum logo ko tujhpar "

" ha kanna, bohot acchi lag rahi ho tum... We are proud of you " joined amms from behind

" ab sambhal ke jana aur sambhal ke aana theek hain? " nandini nodded and sat in the car with ifra in her arms

" jano aaj aap mamma ka college dekho ge..." said nandini to ifra who was busy peeping out of the window..

Nandini's car screeched near the big gate of space college.... She didn't knew how to control her feelings and especially her tears

She stepped out of the car and found the whole college decorated with fairy lights... Everything looked very beautiful... She remembered the diwali celebration with manik which had been organised in space

Ifra looked at nandini and nandini pointed towards the college...

" Mamma's college... Where mamma learnt! " ifra then turned and took a look of the whole college.... She liked it

" Adora liked mamma's college?" asked nandini to which ifra nodded with a wide smile

........

" sab kuch kitna accha lag raha hain... Aisa lag raha hain mai phir se 4 saal pehle laut gaya hu.. Jaha mai aur nandini khush the saath saath.....kitni khoobsurat lag rahi hain aaj hamari college... Shayd kuch purane dost aur dushman bhi mil jaye yaha...  dosti par se toh bharosa uth gaya hain mera... Lekin dushmano se toh mil hi sakte hain "

Thought manik as he had come to the college's garden... Where Nandini and he used to come frequently after the lectures....

He was busy in his thoughts when he heard the jingling sound of someone's anklet... It felt like a melody to manik... Which gave him peace... The much required one at the situation

( imagine the music which used to be played in kyy when nandini used to appear.... " na na na na na na naa naa naa ,  na na na na naa .na na na)

While moving forward getting attracted to the anklet he saw... Someone's milky white waist... A very petite one....he now started making an imaginary face knowing who is coming...

It was dark so he was only able to see the shining costume of the girl......it was green sharara and blouse with pink dupatta wrapped properly....

But no getting a closer look, he found someone in the girls arms.....

And finally he sees the beautiful face....

Say it coinidence or something else but the truth was they had worn exactly the same outfits which they had worn on the diwali before 4 years
