The next morning

Ifra , Nandini and Betty got ready as they were about to leave the hotel and go to their previous hotel.

While sitting in the car , Ifra was continuously looking at something.  She found it to be very attractive, and now she wanted the thing any how.

Nandini followed ifra's eyes and found her to be staring at cotton candy. The car wasn't moving as they were stuck with traffic jam.

Nandini knew that Ifra would now demand for the pinkish thing according to her baby.

Which would not be healthy for her.  Even if she doesn't eat she'll crib for it as the balloon thing attracted her.

And the exact same thing happened.

Ifra stood on her mother's lap and cupped her cheeks

" Mamma " 
she called sweetly.

" Jii mamma ki jaan boliye "

" Balloon "
she meant cotton candy but wasn't getting an exact name for it.

" Kaha jaan? "
Nandini played along so that Ifra's mind gets .

Ifra pointed towards a man who was selling them.

"  We'll take it from one of the shops adora. Till then have this cereals which mamma bought along with her,jaan. Because mamma's naughty princess didn't have her breakfast like always "

"  Alp do "
(aap do)
Ifra said again pointing towards the cotton candy again.

" Haan mamma will buy it for you baby. But not from here Adora please "
Nandini tried to make Ifra understand.

" Mamma pleashhh "

" This is not good for you baby, and without having breakfast aap ko nahi milne wala hai yeh jaan "
Nandini didn't like but she had to be strict when it came to Ifra's food.

" Ifla likesh "

" Haan pata hai mamma ko that Ifra likes it not because Ifra ko wo khana hai. Just because Ifra ko wo dekhne me accha lag raha hai, haina?  Mamma knows everything about her baby "

" One pleashhh mamma "
 her eyes were about to shed tears, and this wasn't bearable by Nandini.

" Shh shhh meri jaan. Mamma mana nahi kar rahi hai Adora. Mamma aapko acchi shop se dila deingi. But Ifra wasn't ready, and Nandini knew. Ifra is doing all this just because she is irritated with the wound.
Accha accha bas mamma ki daulat no crying. Shh!  Shh!  Aapko chahiye na wo. Par sirf hold karoge aap wo aur cereals khaoge. Toh hi mamma wo dilayengi aapko? "

" yesh "
saying this Ifra again threw her head carelessly in Nandini's collar bone.

" IFRAA. Shona mamma ne mana kiya haina? Lag jayegi meri zindagi aapko. Kyu karte ho aisa? Dikhao mamma ko."

Only Ifra has the power to make Nandini Murthy's breath hitch.

" Meli mamma "

"  Jaana mamma ko check karne do baby. Yaha dekho. Ifra baby mamma ko dekho "

Ifra finally looked at Nandini and luckily Nandini found no blood traces.

She pecked Ifra's forehead with a lone tear escaping her eyes.

She couldn't overcome the fact that someone had hit her life and she had got badly injured.

Everytime she looks at Ifra's  hurt forehead. She couldn't control herself. Just the urge to make Mukti pay for it increases.

She was a mother after all, no mother could bear her baby in such a condition.

" Mamma ifla lobes u "

" Awleee meri daulat, mamma loves you more "

Her baby knows , how to change her mamma's mood, just like always.

Cotton candy was a long forgotten business and Nandini thanked her aiyappa for that.

She made her mind she'll buy Ifra cotton candy from some hygienic shop. She haven't said no to Ifra's any demand till now.

" Chalo now let mamma feed you cereals "

Ifra scrunched her nose as an indication that she didn't like the idea.

" Shona, your this antics are not going to work jaan. Chalo open your mouth. "

"  Feedy "

Ifra said pouting, hiding her face in her mamma's neck, now gently, because her mamma gets scared because of her forehead injury.

" Baby pehle cereals then
feed "

" No shilels " ( cereals)

" What happened baby bear? "
asked Betty out of a sudden.

" Betty your baby bear doesn't want to have cereals, she knows that while drinking milk she'll feel sleepy and will not have to eat anything. I don't know what is her problem. She doesn't want to eat anything. I am worried sick about her health.  "

Even though Nandini has consulted proper doctors for Ifra, she wouldn't ever be careless when it came to Ifra, the doctors assured her that there was nothing wrong, some babies tend to not like the idea of having food, Nandini just had to trick her into eating food.

" Aa jao mamma paas. Feedy dengi mamma apne bacche
ko "
Nandini put the sheet between so that the  driver can't see them as well as Betty, she was sitting on the passenger seat.

Nandini's Look.

Nandini removed her overcoat and made Ifra lie on her laps. The car glass was black so there was no chance of any outsider peeping inside.

Nandini covered Ifra with her overcoat and our babycake, she was busy playing with her mamma's hair.

Nandini rolled her inner top upwards and cupped her breasst in her hand.  She carefully placed her empty hand under Ifra's head and brought it close to her breast.

Rubbing her nipples on Ifra's lips, she started caressing Ifra's hair  Ifra was totally covered in Nandini's over coat.

" Jaan lips open karo Adora. Feedy peena haina baby. ? "

" itsh shooo hot mamma "
Ifra said in her cute toddlers voice.

Nandini knew Ifra would feel hot so she had made Ifra wear cotton clothes.

Ifra's look.

" Bas mera baccha mamma haina, Adora ko hot feel nahi hoga. Betty please decrease the temperature "
said Nandini to Betty.

" Mamma glanny glandpa? "
only mamma was the word which Ifra used to pronounce clearly.

" Haan mamma ka rabbit ! We'll go today to meet Ifra's granny and grandpa. But before that Ifra needs energy na? Chalo open your lips "

Ifra had to open her lips and Nandini immediately attached Ifra to her bud. Ifra didn't wanted to have anything. Due to changing climate, hot air, her forehead wound.

Ifra wasn't sucking Nandini.  She was continuously playing with Nandini's locket but little did she know her mother knows her better than anything else.

" Ifra jaan sab pata hai mamma ko. Aap suck nahi kar rahe ho. Kuch khate nahi ho aap. Phir bhi aapka tummy full rehta hai. Mamma ka rabbit, you need to have milk baby.  It's good for health.  Accha batao aapne morning se kya khaya? Did you have anything? Did you let mamma feed you anything? No right "

N A N D I N I

Iss age me babies ko bhook lagti hai, but this baby of mine. Inhe sirf chocolate ki bhook lagti hai and sometimes she asks for my milk. Which i am more than happy to feed her.

Morning se she didn't had anything and now knowing that she'll have to eat cereals. She wants my milk now. Anyhow i had to make her eat cereals first. Not because we were in car or something.

My chotu packet matters the most to me . In Los Angeles also due to meetings and all i used to feed her in the car.
But here there are so many potholes and speedbreakers that i am worried.

The car jerks all of a sudden. I was asking her to have cereals because i know. While having milk she feels sleepy and she sleeps immediately. But today see she isn't even sucking, so that the milk doesn't comes out. Trust me, my baby never troubles me. I know she is hell frustrated with the wound and these are the side effects.

Oh aiyappa! Protect my happiness (Ifra) always.

She is the reason i breath.

She is the reason i smile.

She is the reason of me getting the world's most blissful feeling. She made me the most happiest mother on earth.

She is my pricest possession.

She is my life.

She is my wealth, my IFRA !

" Mamma "

" Bolo shona "

Said ifra battling her eyelashes cutely.

I have everything related to my baby with me. I carry it everywhere,  common she is just of 2 and half years and a sensitive baby too.
I had a box of M&M's with me. Just because she loves them.

But Right now, i've to concentrate on something else which is feeding her to the fullest.

" Yes!  Mamma has them with her, But, before that you'll have to take feed jaan "

and now she'll have her feed. Nobody knows her better than me. My baby!  My baby love! 

I wish y'all could just see her extremely cute face at that moment. She was thinking something. Very important according to her.

Pouting a little she replied

" otay " oh my heart!    

She immediately started sucking my breast, making me feel proud of being a happy mother.

Only mother's could experience this blissful feeling.

Suddenly the car stopped and i heard a knock

" Nandu " 

" yes Betty "

" Is it okay if i sit backwards?  I need to talk something important "

" Oh you don't need to ask, i've covered Ifra "

" Nandini they might be present there, exactly after 30 minutes "

Finally i heard what i wanted to.

" Bravo Betty. I am so happy "

Betty just smiled and i  caressed Ifra's forehead thinking about yesterday, the pain my baby went through.

" What is our little bunny doing inside there? "
Betty asked.

" Having her feed after lots of pleadings "
i replied chuckling

It was 12 in the afternoon when we reached the hotel.

Ifra was done with her feed and i was making her eat M&M's now as per my promise.

She was watching " The Fish Family " on the television placed just before our seat.

" Mamma shee goldieeee
fishhh "  
oh my little happiness clapped her hands as soon as her favorite goldie fish came all dressed up like a queen.

I immediately pecked her lips
" Mamma's little fish "

" Nandini we are here "
Betty informed.

As soon as we stepped outside. The whole place was covered with media.

I immediately covered Ifra's face in my overcoat.

They weren't even letting us walk.

Our bodyguards made us some place somehow.

" Ms Nandini. How do you feel coming to India? "

One of the journalists asked. How would i describe my feelings? I feel escatic. I'm  going to meet my family.

Giving a smile to the journalist i moved further..

" How is this cute baby doing ma'am? "

I forgot to mention, my baby was always the center of attraction. The media adored her alot.

The crowd was increasing. Betty showed  a helpless face.

I stopped at my place, i need to stop this.

" Hello to y'all ! I am all good. Thank you so much for your love and good wishes. I feel really happy after visiting India. Ifra is a little ill. I would hope some co-operation from you all. She'll get scared. For her sake. Please excuse us "

Listening to this they immediately moved backwards and i entered the hotel lobby as fast as i could.

" Bas bas we are here baby. We reached. Bas abhi room me jayenge "

I was whispering into Ifra's ears continuously.

" Mukti tumne mujhse jhoot bola?  How could you? "
Asked Abhi, who was disgusted by what Mukti did to a small baby, to his sister's baby.

" Abhi ye tum kya bol rahe
ho? "
Mukti replied, very confusedly, she knew Abhi was mad about something.

" Mukti don't try to act all innocent. I've got to know everything that y'all did to Nandini. Why Mukti? Did you see her? She was always my sister. I can't believe you guy's are so heartless. "

" Abhi don't forget mukti is your girlfriend "
Navya interfered.

" Navya it would be better if you don't interfere between
us. "
Abhi warned.

" Abhi tumhe bhi usne apne jaal me fasa liya na? Tumne mujhse kabhi iss tarah se baat nahi ki, aur uski baatein sunke tum mujhpe chilla rahe ho? "
Mukti had the guts to blame Nandini again.

" Mukti tumlogo ne kaam hi aisa kiya hai. Sharam aati hai mujhe fab 5 pe aur tumpe bhi Navya. Wo tumhari Bestfriend thi na? She supported you always,and you. I pity Nandini. That she befriended you all. Instead of being guilty you all have the courtesy to argue with me? "

" Abhi you weren't present on that day. So it would be better if you don't judge us. "
Alia tried manipulating Abhi into this.

" Alia cut the crap okay? I know everything. Y'all forced Manik to break all his ties with Nandini, and he being fab5's protector left her.

I feel like punching Manik. She is a mother of a child Alia but the baby is not Manik's. I've seen him cry today. He never shared his feelings with anyone for years. He has made a hill of them inside his heart and one day he'll lose his shit completely due to that pain "

" Abhi calm down and listen to us once. You don't know the whole story "

" Oh Dhruv! What story? Y'all will cook some right and serve it to me. But this time I'm not going to take it. All these years i kept quite. I never for once visited Murthy house. I never tried knowing their whereabouts. 

I am ashamed of myself. I have hurt Nandini. My little sister, and Cabir you were the soul brother of Manik right? Didn't you try to bring him on the right path ? Why didn't you ask Manik to find Nandini?  Why did you ask him to hook up with Alia again? "

" Abhi i know, we've hurt Nandini. That day i didn't support Manik. But the smile on fab5's face was something i was longing to see. They looked happy again... My heart felt content Abhi. We five were scattered. We were never like this. I know i acted selfish "
Cabir gave an explanation to Abhi who wasn't going to buy it.

" Drum rolls for you Cabir Dhawan. Y'all got separated not because of Nandini but because of your own deeds.

Stop blaming her for everything. She is a pure hearted girl. How can you do this, bring smile on one's face and making one sad for a lifetime? "
Abhi couldn't believe how unrealistic these guys sounded right now.

" Oh just shut up Abhi!  She is your sister that's why you are supporting her? What about us five? She had almost snatched Manik from us. We did what we did, so that manik could stay happy "

" You were always selfish or now you are showing me your true colours haan? You felt she's snatching Manik, let's separate them forever right. You said you did this for Manik.  Did you see him happy these years.

Why so quiet Mukti I'll say why.  Because you know that his happiness lies in Nandini. These years may be, he had some hopes of Nandini returning back to him, but, now all his hopes are crashed because she'll never return to Manik.

She moved on. Moved on from Manik.She is a happy mother, and i am equally happy  for her. Because she deserves love."

" Just because she met you and cooked some stories, you are doubting my love for you?  I waited for you Abhi, i accepted you and you..."

She didn't got a chance to complete her sentence

" This is exactly my question Mukti, how can you be so biased? Tell me. You can accept me. You can accept Navya. But you cannot accept Nandini just because of your fucki*g selfish reasons. I am just wondering do you have a heart or i fell in love with a rock? "

Mukti in anger held Abhi's shoulder and jerked him towards herself.

" Don't you dare question my love for you Abhi. Don't you dare "
Mukti spat venomously.

" Ms Mukti Vardhan, you are under arrest "

Their conversation was disturbed by a voice, the statement which shocked Mukti and her friends to bones.

Everyone looked horrified.

Why would someone just come up with handcuffs for Mukti?

The female police came towards Mukti and hand cuffed her.

Everything happened in a jiffy, and nobody knew what to do.

Abhi kind of came out of shock and asked

" Officer what did she do? And is this the way to enter someone's house and handcuff them?  "

" Mr Abhimanyu Thakkar. Behtar hoga agar aap hume apna kaam karna nahi sikhaye toh. "
The officer spoke strictly, which made Abhi shut his mouth.

" Ms Mukti, aapko ek choti bacchi ko markar bhagne ke jurm me giraftaar kiya jata
hai "
The officer announced.

" Ma... maine ki... kisiko nahi mara "
Mukti said shivering.

" Agar jurm kiya hi nahi toh aap itna kaanp kyu rahi hai "

Of course the police inspector could see Mukti's changing body language.

" Mai... mainnn ka... kaanp nahi rahi hoon. Aap mu.. mujhe ais..aise giraftaar nahi kar sakte. Say something Abhi maine kuch nahi kiya "

The officer took out his phone and showed them the footage.

It had the clip of Mukti running fastly and hitting Ifra with all her might. Ifra's  forhead bleeding. Nandini crying. Ifra fainting in Nandini's arms. Mukti turning back to see what happened. Inspite of seeing a baby getting hurt due to her, she murmured
" bloody idiot girl, came in my way " and left.

All of them were flabbergasted watching the footage, it was Mukti who hit Nandini daughter.

" Muktiii how could you? "

asked Abhi with slight tears in his eyes, he didn't know his Mukti was so heartless.

" Abhi mai...maine kuch nahi kiya "
said Mukti stammering hard, she wanted to run away somewhere and hide.

" Toh ye video jhooti hai? "
said Abhi shaking his head in disbelief.

" Abhi wo mujhe  tumhara message.... message aaya tha. Isi..isiliye mai bhagi thi "
She was scared, very scared right now.

" Ms Vardhan aap ne dekha ke kisi bacche ko chot lagi hai. Uss bacche ke sir se khoon nikal raha tha, wo behosh ho gayi thi.  Aapne kya bola video me saaf sunai de raha hai.
Aapne dekhne ke bawajud bacche ko help nahi ki usse andekha karke bhaag gayi aap? "
the officer said in a very strict tone.

" Officer, main mujhe abhi..abhi se milna tha. Mujhe kuch samaj nahi aaya isiliye mai waha se..waha se bhaag gayi "
Mukti knew the officer wouldn't buy her excuse but she made a try.

" Mukti wo Nandini ki beti hai "

and Mukti was more horrified as she hadn't seen the face of baby's mother.

" Kya? "
asked Mukti not ready to believe it.

" Yes Ms Vardhan aur Ms Nandini Murthy ne aapke khilaaf case file kiya hai.

Unke paas sare saboot bhi hai. Jo aapko gunehgaar sabit karte hai. Aapko humare saath police station chalna hoga, abhi. "

" Mukti, tum logo ne Nandini ki zindagi barbaad kar di aur jab itne saalo baad wo khush hai uski bacchi ko chot pohochai. Matlab Nandu sahi keh rahi thi. Tum hi Ifra ko markar bhagi thi. I am ashamed of you Mukti. You are not a human Mukti.  You can't love anyone, not even me"

" Abhi you are trusting Nandini over me?  You are insulting my love indirectly "

" i am insulting your love? What did you do with Nandini few years back? How can you be so partial Mukti? You also almost snatched Ifra from Nandini. Itna kaise gir Sakti hi tum? The baby wasn't even opening her eyes Mukti. Nandini was begging for her to wake up. "

" Baby baby baby. Kab se yahi bole ja rahe ho. Shadi wadi nahi hui hai uski. Usne uska favourite kaam kiya hoga.

To have one night stands with men. Wo baccha uski galti hogi kisi ke saath. Usko yeh bhi nahi pata hoga bacche ka baap kaun hai. Uske bhole chehre pe mat jao. Wo laut aayi hai humara pyaar aur khushiyan chin'ne she's a slut Abhi. Pata nahi kiska ganda khoon liye ghoom rahi hai."

Mukti couldn't take Abhi siding with Nandini, she was mad pissed.

And suddenly thud!  Mukti felt someone slapping her. She almost fell on the floor, such was the intensity.

She saw the person's face and got shocked. The person was breathing anger.

She could feel the raging anger in the person's eyes.
She was scared, scared for the first time from her own best friend.

Because it was none other than Manik Malhotra.

Everywhere could feel an intense aura around them. It was like Manik could burn Mukti alive.

" Manik Malhotra ka khoon hai wo. Meri beti hai wo. Mera hissa hai wo. Don't you dare Mukti Vardhan. Don't you fucking dare insult them. One word from your mouth towards my baby or my lady and i'll tear you in two pieces. Trust me when i say this, i'll dig your grave here itself. "
