Hidden Feelings (Hisui Nagare x Blind! Reader)

I want to thank each and everyone of you for the requests.

I made a list of all the wishes and will show them to you right now. Don't stop requesting tho. I love that.

But I'll keep them a secret.

So that's why I'll put them probably in order.

 Or maybe not.

 Am I killing your nerves?

Because boy I sure do kill my XD

AAAAAAANYWAYS, I'll probably post two one-shots in a roll in like... the same minutes? :D

But that depends on whether I think the stories are ready. So yeah, keep it in mind that I might update twice in a few minutes.

Another thing - the beginning of this story is somewhat boring. I'm still in an author's block so it's harder to write the parts. But hey. Fuck the block, I am a machine xD

I've used the idea of making the story line with the line of the episodes. You'll see what I'm talking about.

The one shot clearly not came in what I had planned in my head, so please excuse me for that. I wrote two one-shots, based on this title, based on what the reader had to be, with the same character. And I really had a tough time, thinking of whether I should post them or not. Or even pick one to post. So this is the last version, which came in my mind.

 - Nyxie is flying away. Byeeeee!

 ---------------

Aaaah, it was almost that time of the year, when families gathered to celebrate together on this wonderful and cheerful event, called Christmas. Songs, presents, cute movies and food.

 But not for them.

For them, it was their moment to strike.

It was the moment when they would be able to take the Dresden Slate, the mysterious stone, which is able to create Auras and Swords of Damocles, which only the Kings use.

It's powers are capable to be manifested not only to humans, but to animals as well.

All this time it was in the hands of the Golden King, and it's range was limited.

But now, the King was dead. And the only one protecting the Dresden Slate...

Was a King, whose burden was soon going to kill him.

 .

 .

 .

 .

"Let's drink for the night that will soon come!" Voices echoed from the imitation of a room.

Everyone cheered, even the King himself. He was happy that his plan would succeed soon.

Now they just had to wait. Wait for the right moment to strike.

 .

 .

 .

 .

She heard the slash of the swords through the metal gates, opening the path they needed.

"Go with Yukari. Later you will come with me."

Those were the words he told her before guiding her towards the ex-Colourless clansman.

Yukari Mishakuji, J-Rank member of JUNGLE.

She couldn't tell a lot about his past. She knew that he had been in the 7th King's clan, but not for long. Nothing more, nothing less. She didn't want to know though. She preferred not to disturb him with such silly questions, although she knew he would answer them with a warm smile on his face.

 A smile she'll never see.

"Are you sure you are okay, my little flower?" Yukari asked, holding her hand as he slashed through the gates one by one.

She nodded, concentrating on what was in front of her. Then she heard them.

 Voices.

She couldn't count how many there were. They were arguing, but then stopped.

"Yukari there are people on the other side." She tugged him on the sleeve, as she felt uncomfortable.

Not that it was her first mission. She just always felt scared for the people she now called family.

"So now it is our time to shine, my beauty!" Yukari exclaimed happily.

He slashed through the last gate with such might that she felt it underneath her feet.

"Oh. But they aren't..." He sighed sadly, walking towards the direction, keeping her close to his chest.

The cap of the lighter was opened and she could hear flames forming.

 "Yukari, on your right."

Yukari chuckled, slashing the flames that were coming towards them with his free hand, while with the other - he had a tight grip around her.

"Anna, stay behind us." Someone spoke.

She could hear her steps walking towards the back. But she felt that the girl they were talking about was different.

"A King is afraid to fight with only two clansmen?" She chuckled darkly towards Anna.

"Why you..." A boy growled, charging towards them.

"Shine, my flower." Yukari released the grip over her and let her dodge the attack with ease.

"You have to try better than that, grumpy." She chuckled, turning towards the direction she heard him landing.

"Yata-san. It's not the time to fi--" Someone started talking from her right side, but froze all of the sudden.

 "She's blind." Stated another woman.

Yukari only sighed in boredom, standing behind "his blooming flower" to protect her.

Blind. That word never actually never managed to hurt her.

She thought of it as an obstacle, which -with the help of Yukari and his training lessons- she quickly managed to get over with.

"No duh, Sherlock." She mumbled, smiling.

She hated her blindness for only one reason - she couldn't see the man she fell in love with.

 Hisui Nagare.

 The Fifth and Green King.

 Her King.

There were nights when she couldn't sleep at all. He would always stay and talk with her. There were moments when she cried and her comforted her, despite his condition. He showed kindness which was rare to see from a King with such a dark past.

 He was dead inside.

But that did not stop her from developing feelings towards him.

She loved him the way he was.

She felt him different, not only because he was a King.

Ever since she came in JUNGLE under the supervision of Yukari, she'd always stay there, trying to make everyone happy. Including Nagare.

Yukari would always tell her that she is "the light that shined in their dark hearts".

Sukuna would always stay with her the in lazy days when she had no missions, eating a box of pizza together with her.

Mr. Iwa would try to persuade her to sit, whenever she had something in mind - like for example trying to cook. That is always hilarious in the eyes of the others, because Mr. Iwa would always freak out.

All those moments are precious memories she did not want to lose and adored the future ones.

So that's why she'd risk her own life to help her family.

"He came earlier than expected. So the plan has changed." Yukari mumbled, making everyone around him confused.

Only she understood what he meant.

"I'm counting on you, (Y/N)." Yukari whispered, leaving her be as he slashed through the ground.

She could hear the vibrations and electricity from behind her. The gates closed once more.

 She smirked.

That won't stop him.

"That was a bitch move. Leaving her here." The same boy that attacked her said, approaching her slowly.

She jumped over him, kicking him in the back, towards the others he had with him. She knew that no one was behind her.

 Her sense was strong.

"I'm sorry that I'll have to leave too." She bowed.

"Yata, are you okay?!" Someone asked. She could only laugh at them.

They don't know what was coming towards them.

"But, my King is coming to take me." She stuck her tongue out as she heard the commotion from behind her.

Nagare was making dents in the gate, until he crashed inside, attacking everyone that stood there.

"(Y/N)." He said, his voice - usually cold - was now warm. He'd always sound warm when he talked to her.

She felt his hand wrapping around hers pulling her towards him. She'd always blush when she had to be close to him.

"Let's go." He whispered, suddenly taking off.

She could practically feel herself flying, electricity tickling her soft skin. She felt his tight embrace around her, making her smile.

Then she heard something from behind.

 "She's following us." (Y/N) mumbled.

Nagare did not say anything, but continued towards his destination.

 (Y/N) felt his chest burning.

'Nagare's using too much power. I hope he will come soon.'

The Red King, Kushina Anna was trying her best to stop both (Y/N) and Nagare. And for just a second, she managed to do so.

But Nagare was stronger, despite him being the 5th King. Mr. Iwa once told her that Nagare had challenged the Second King and had almost defeated him.

It is said that the First King was the strongest and the Seventh - the weakest.

But (Y/N) thought it was bullshit.

Every King was equally strong for her. She felt it.

Soon, something pulled her out her thoughts and it was Nagare.

He was using his last power to crash inside the room, where the Dresden Slate was, ignoring the Red King's attacks.

 "Nagare..." (Y/N) whispered.

"Don't worry." She felt him smiling. "We won, after all."

When they were inside, she felt the presence of someone.

"The Blue King." Nagare whispered, as of reading her thoughts.

So that's the King, whose burden will kill him soon.

Sukuna had once told her that his Sword of Damocles was damaged and it will not last long.

"(Y/N)!" Nagare suddenly pushed her, a great wave of energy crashing into him. (Y/N) felt the ground underneath her shaking. The Blue King must've attacked her King.

Suddenly she felt something crash on the ground near her.

"Nagare!" She screamed, running towards there. Only to be pushed away from the same wave of energy that had been used on the Green King.

"A blind woman in the help of the Green King? Heh." The Blue King spoke.

(Y/N) heard footsteps approaching the room.

One were from a pair of small heels, which she assumed belonged to the young girl. And another pair. She did not knew who they belonged to.

(Y/N) tried to push herself up, but then felt something sharp pressed near her throat.

"Why are you helping this King with dreams, which will only lead to destruction?" He asked.

"Everyone deserves to be equal. Your ideals are the wrong here, Blue King." She chuckled as she smelled the air.

"We already won." Both (Y/N) and Nagare said in unison, as the air suddenly felt heavy.

 'He is here.'

Using this chance, (Y/N) slowly slipped away from there, as someone she knew very well guided her.

"Took you long enough... Mr. Iwa."

 .

 .

 .

 .

(Y/N) was inside the helicopter, her King's head resting on her lap. He had done so much so Mr. Iwa would be able to enter.

She couldn't feel sad for that.

She could only respect her King.

His hair tickled her hand as she caressed him.

He was sleeping so peacefully. It was normal. Their plan had succeeded and they managed to take what belonged to the world.

 The Dresden Slate.

"(Y/N)?" She heard Mr. Iwa near her.

 "Hmm?"

"When will you tell him about your feelings?" That question made her heart beat faster, blood heating up her cheeks.

"I... Prefer having my feelings hidden." She smiled, her thumb caressing Nagare's forehead.

Mr. Iwa only chuckled, patting her on the head.

"You did a good job there, kid." He said.

"I'm not a kid, you know." (Y/N) felt the vain on her forehead pop up from the annoying phrase he had just used.

 "I'm just joking. Haha."

Yukari and Sukuna soon jointed the conversation, which became so lively, people would've think that they are just a normal group of people.

 Well, they were.

 Sort of...

 Or not?

 .

 .

 .

 .

(Y/N) heard how happy they all were while they were celebrating, as she stood near the mystical stone. Her hand instinctively shot towards her, touching it. (Y/N) felt the energy that radiated from the inside.

Somewhere deep inside, she hoped that that will help her with her blindness. She did not mention to anyone her hidden wish.

 But then she sighed, smiling.

 She did not need that.

 She had everything already.

"Are you feeling okay?" Nagare's voice pulled you out of your thoughts.

You smiled, but then your jaw fell.

"Nagare?! Wait?! How?" (Y/N) felt her cheeks burning as she felt his hands around her shoulders.

He only chuckled, his chin resting on her head.

"I am happy that now, the thing that belongs to everyone, won't be pushed into a limit." He meant the Slate.

 (Y/N) nodded, smiling as well.

She was happy that her King finally had what he wanted.

"He told me about some hidden feelings you had." Nagare suddenly blurted out.

"Huh?!" (Y/N) she felt her cheeks burning again.

Her body was suddenly turned around, and she felt she was facing her King.

She averted her gaze, despite the blindness. It was embarrassing to be in front of him at the moment.

 "You never do this."

 "Do what?"

"Keeping your eyes away from mine."

She felt his breath closer. It tickled her lips.

"I don't know what you are talking about." Her voice cracked.

 "You're lying."

(Y/N) stood there, stiffened, unable to say anything.

"Why me?" Nagare asked all of the sudden, his lips touching her forehead.

"I... You're different. But not because of the fact that you are a King. It's just because... I feel it that way. Everything in you is different from the others. I know you and Mr. Iwa had a though life at the start, but... It's you are that I fell in love with. I can't see what you look like and that makes me somewhat sad... But I know your capabilities! You are the first person that managed to touch my heart with all those moments when you were next to me in times I felt like darkness was crawling under my skin." (Y/N) felt a tear roll down her cheek as she remembered the darkness, which was...

 Her blindness...

Yes, the blindness did not bother her in day time. But at nights, she felt like she was nothing, despite the arguments everyone gave.

She felt like she was a minus in this world. Different from the others, but not in the good way.

All those nights she spent with Nagare, were the moments when she felt the sadness pressing into her heart as a knife. She did not want to bother anyone with her problems. It just came out that Nagare was there in the right moment, when she was thinking of whether it was worth living or not.

He smiled while his lips were still pressed on her forehead.

(Y/N) felt relaxed a bit when she told him everything that she kept inside of her.

He then hugged her tight, kissing her on the lips.

A tear rolled down her cheek again, but this time from happiness. He refused to let her go.

Whatever there was, they'd go through it, together.

She felt his cold lips warming up, like he was regaining life back in his body.

Maybe keeping her feelings hidden wasn't the smartest idea. And maybe if that old man did not interrupt... she'd never feel the happiness she felt now.

Yes, she clearly had a family which cared about her.

While she was thinking this, Nagare's fingers were playing with her hair.

'And a man, whom I love so much.'
