From where it began (Seri Awashima x Male! Reader)

I GOT MY FROGGIN LAPTOP BACK!!!!!!! BTW I am starting my Japanese lessons!!! Yas!

I don't know if this one-shot is written well, because I am extremly bad at writing from the male point of view XD Oh, and it will probably be the longest one shot I've written, idk...
And if it's not good, please tell me so I can consider writing a new one, because the old one was a little bit... Let's say that we can use the term that things had escalated quickly. XD

You stood in front of your desk at home, playing with the pen as it was the only object that made the only sound.

You sighed, resting your head on top of the desk, trying to think of something to do.

That's when you heard your PDA ringing in the other room.

You jogged to it so the caller doesn't sigh in the defeat and close the call.

"Hello?" You said, walking around the couch now.

"Hello. It's me Seri Awashima. Remember me?" You smiled at the voice that was on the other side, crashing your back in the comfy couch.

"Of course I remember you, Seri-chan!"

You and Seri were old school mates and most of the times in the break between the hours you both were playing around, although most of the time she had to act serious as she was the vice president of the student council.

It was usually different. For example there was one day that you both played on her PDA because she had one of those new games that were trendy back then. And on the next they you decided to prank the janitor of the school, despite the fact that she was against the idea.

But time has passed and everyone has changed.

Seri became a beautiful woman, who was serious and took her job serious as usual.

She only told the somewhat secret of her job that they were a really special police force.

Really special.

Scepter 4.

Used disguise to hide the Blue Clan and their King.

"Are you there?" Her sweet voice brought you back into reality, making you shook your head from the thoughts.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm here... I was just lost in thoughts..." You mumbled, looking through the window.

"It's okay. So my question was this. Are you still good with taking care of horses?" You took the PDA away from your ear, raising an eyebrow at the image of Seri.

"Yeah, I guess so... Why?"

"Can you visit me in the home base of my clan? I... The Captain needs your help."

~~~~~~
"What would they be needing from me? I'm just a regular human. I don't have flames like them." You talked to yourself as you reached the gates of Scepter 4.
You whistled, as you admired how big this building was.
Sure Seri had a good job. Indeed she had.
"Hey!" Seri smiled warmly at you, hugging you through the shoulders.
"Hi!" You hugged her back through the waist.
"Long time no see." She chuckled.
That was true. You haven't seen each other in months after one of her important missions or it was something like that.
"Indeed it is." You pulled away, looking into her eyes.
"So, shall we go to the Captain?" She looked away, blushing.
You nodded like there was no problem into meeting the Blue King.
"Wait, what?!"
~~~~~~~~

"Thank you for your fast reactions." The Blue King spoke.

You looked nervously towards Seri, while she was fixing her tied hair.

"It's no problem." You scratched the back of your head, laughing awkwardly.

"Awashima-kun will lead the way towards the place you will be needed."

You nodded and left the room, following Seri.

~~~~~
"You'll need me to take care of a horse?" You looked awkwardly at the dark furred animal that stood in front of you.
"Well, it's not a normal horse. It's a..."
Seri was cut off as the horse in front of you cried, it's dark fur turning white, white feathered wings showing on each side of it's body.
"What the fuck just happened?!" You yelled, crashing your back against the wall so you could be as far away from the animal thing that was in front of you.
"Watch it with the language." Seri sighed, walking towards the white pegasus. "It's a strain. It has the ability to change forms. Like now. From a dark horse to a white pegasus with wings. Although it has never flied." She explained.
Strain? This world starts to look like a fantasy book.
"Well, good luck." She giggled, walking towards the building.
"Wha~... Hey! Don't leave me with this thing here!" You yelled, frighten.
She turned around winking at you, as you felt someone's presence a little bit closer. You gulped, closing your eyes.
"Good horse... Good... Meep... Help..."
~~~~~

Days passed as you took care of the horse, having fun cleaning him, or fixing his hair.

Seri would come every day, sitting right next to you, talking with you about random things in those good old school days.

That's when you felt something different as she touched your hand last night.

^°^Flasback^°^

"I'll be seeing you tomorrow, right?" You asked, both of you standing in front of the gates.

She nodded, looking behind your back, seeing a group of women who were watching you with lusty eyes.

She felt some weight under her chest as she instinctively grabbed a hold of your hand, pulling you closer, glaring at those women.

"S-Seri?" You tried to hold in the blush, which was hard, considering how close she was.

^°^End of F.B.^°^

Since last night you couldn't stop thinking about what happened.

More to the problem, you couldn't stop thinking about Seri.

What happened to her last night was a mystery...

"Hey." She said, brining her well known dessert.

"Good day, Seri." You said, walking towards the horse so you could pet him.
"I see that our strain horse is being much more calmer since you came." Seri smiled.

"Yeah. If we don't count those moments when he suddenly turns into a pegasus, and tries to eat my head..." You laughed.

Seri giggled, her sky blue eyes locking onto your (e/c) ones.

There was an awkward silence that felt between both of you, as both of you felt your cheeks heating up.

"A-Anyways, I'd be leaving earlier today. I will meet up with a few old friends that will visit Shizume City." You said.

Her eyebrow twitched a bit as she heard the word "friends", but she quickly hid it with her usual warm smile.

"Where are you going to be?" She asked politely.

"Hmm..." You placed your index and middle finger on your chin, looking at the ceiling. "There was this old restaurant not far away from here, but I don't remember it's name. It's easy to find where it is." You facepalmed at your explanation, wanting to slap yourself across the face.

"I see." She looked like she was troubled or something, her body tensing up, but you didn't want to bother asking her. It could be something she does not wish to talk about.

~~~~~
"Heeeeey!" You smiled at your old friends, giving them all a group bear hug.
You felt strange, because your heart started beating faster as you felt someone's presence in the darkness.
"Shall we go inside?" One of your friends, Akira, suggested, her brownish eyes shining from the lights on the street.
~~~~

You were placed on 3×3 table. Men watching the women in front.

As you ordered your dinner, you all chatted about the works they had.

Akira and Takeo were proud of themselves because of their jobs as managers.

You sighed from boredom as they all started explaining "fun" facts about their business.

All of the sudden, an unknown waitress came, smiling at you.

But she was unknown to your friends.

For you, she was Seri.

You stood up, pushing the waitress Seri with you towards the back side of the restaurant.

"What are you doing here, Seri?!" You whispered.

"I..." She looked down at the ground, trying to hide the blush and tears she had.

When you saw the tear that rolled down her eye, you brushed it off with your thumb as you felt pain in your heart for seeing her crying.

"I didn't want you to be alone with those people. I... I wanted to you to stay at Scepter 4 and be with me. I mean I... I..."

You cut her off, instinctively kissing her, cupping her cheeks in your hands.

"My jealous Seri." You chuckled, giving her a peck on the lips.

"Don't say that word. I am not jealous. I'm just overprotective to what I think should belong to me." She smiled, making you flinch a bit.

"Overprotective to what you think belongs to you. And how do you think that I belong to you?" You smirked, coming closer to her.

"Oh trust me. I have my ways to know." She chuckled, pulling you towards her as your lips met once more.

This night she looked like before, in school.

When you both had to prank the janitor, she was against the idea, but after making out the plan, you saw a wild side of her. A side she probably have been hiding from everyone. But not to you.

And this night.

She was the same. You could just feel that side of hers.

^°^°^ 1 year later ^°^°^

You walked inside the room you and Seri both shared, your eyes searching for her.

You saw her reading her favorite book on the couch, her blonde hair untied.

You sat next to her, brushing away a few locks of her hair and kissed her forehead.

One year. Exactly on this day, she came with the crazy idea of not leaving you alone with your old friends, as she wanted your attention focused on her.

And that's the day that started everything actually.

"Have I told you how beautiful you look like this?" You said, making her blush.

"And have I told you how much I love you?" She smirked.

Your lips met with hers in a slow, passionate kiss.

Your tongues danced, then fought for domination.

You smirked as you won the battle with Seri sighing in defeat.

"You know you can't win versus me, right?" You asked.

"Well, I know what I have already won." She smiled, pushing you down, pointing at your chest. "I won your heart."
