(Yes, I'm sorry that this isn't a new chapter, but we have some important stuff to talk about!)

Hi all.

Just wanted to say thank you for all the love on this book (which recently reached 2K reads!) and to promise you guys that I have NOT forgotten about this fic and will update it soon 💜

You know how it goes with Wattpadd-ing; you make a plan for a fic, IRL stuff happens, you get worried abut the story, the story gets views, story doesn't get views - all that stuff.
Add onto the fact that I'm autistic, a procrastinator (and potentially ADD / ADHD as well...), my scheduling and focus abilities are all over the place 😵‍💫😵‍💫

But I am determined to get this fic done and to be more consistent with my writing and upload schedules 💪

I only ask that you guys keep reading (AND voting and commenting, I love reading comments) and for you to know that I do have this fic planned out. This fic has been in my head for almost two years now and the story itself almost seven years 😱

So, I know how the plot will go, how YN and K/DA meet, how he will get along with each of them and some additional subplots as well.

I've just been concerned with making sure that this fic is fun to read, easy to read and that I don't repeat any errors or faux paus' that I might have made with other Wattpad fics.

I've also been working on fleshing out the characters, so that none of the cast are 2D, cliche and seem only about their relationship with YN.

I admit that I posted this fic on impulse, but as I said, I've been juggling this story idea around for years now and posted it early to give myself a 'nudge' of sorts to get back into posting on here consistently and to see how the story would go as a fic before I post it as an original work.

ANYWAY! Enough rambling. Now I have some stuff to go over and ask for your responses:

NEXT CHAPTER

- The next chapter is being written right now. Had to write, rewrite and re-rewrite some stuff, but I have a firm surefire plan on how the next five chapters will go.

- I wasn't planning on involving K/DA until a few more chapters, but since they're main characters, it would be silly to have them show up late.

- The chapter will be out mid-July at the ABSOLUTE LATEST and two or three days at the earliest. I just started training to be a teacher soon, so expect the release schedule to be a bit chaotic...

AUDIENCE CONCERNS

- I did see some concerns about YN as a character, like him being too blunt or seeming rude. And while I can't spoil much or say too much, since that defeats the point of a reader-insert character, I can say that he is that way for a reason and he will undergo changes.

- He was a little bit more blunt in the first chapter because of his work but he does have softer spots you will see, like any character.

- To put it simply, YN is a guy who wants to help people and better society, he just doesn't have the tactfulness or patience to be diplomatic about it.

- I've also had people ask if YN is a powerless, and no he isn't. He does have powers but they won't be revealed for a while. You'll see hints here and there though... 🧐

QUESTION FOR AUDIENCE

- My next point is about stuff YOU guys would like to see. I have most of the story planned out already, but there are a few blank spots and I see no reason why I can't take suggestions from you guys too.

1. Would you prefer a more grounded story with the journalism and pop star stuff? Or do you want to see something slightly grittier, with some more 'action' stuff in the subplots?
Stuff will be happening either way but this is just about tone and frequency.

2. Which K/DA girl do you want to see YN with first? I already know who the SECOND girl will be, but would like some idea on which 'bias' the readers have. This girl might change based on readers comments and responses to the story, but comment beside the name of your 'favourite' K/DA girl:

3. Are there any recurring tropes or cliches that you've seen in other K/DA fics that you would rather NOT show up here?

K/DA: Keychain of Memories⛓️‍💥💜

- Three years after an unsuccessul "self-unalivement", Y/N L/N, a young video game streamer** searches for the woman who saved his life and gave him a new purpose.
His only clue? A vintage keychain of the popular girl group, K/DA...

**Y/Ns' career in this fic is still undecided but Twitch seems like the best one so far, besides being a content creator or influencer. He ends up working with K/DA either way. I'll put it to a vote.
