Chapter 19

POV: You

Part 1.

I'm in my room right now, it's been a week since April had become a Fallen. Today I'm going to go visit her since she is open to visitations now. I had gotten dressed already and I was in the kitchen , making breakfast, pancakes, bacon, and eggs. As I was in the middle of cooking, Ahri walks into the kitchen ready for the day. Her nose up high, like if she was trying to get a good sniff in the air.

"Something smells good in here" Ahri says as she lowers her head.

"It's breakfast" I reply.

"I can tell" She says, walking in with her hips swaying a little as she walked in heels.

"Going out?" I ask.

"Yeah, got a meeting I need to head to" She says while snatching a piece of bacon from the pile.
She savors the bacon then licks the oils of it off her fingers, as I watched.

"You know there were napkins right next to you" I say to her and she smirks.

"What's the fun in that when I can savor it all" Ahri says teasingly.

"You're starting to sound like Eve" I say as I flipped a pancake.

"Well, I have to go, see you later" She says and starts to walk away.

"Later" I reply and she exits the kitchen.

I as was wrapping up on the last of breakfest Kai'sa and Akali made their way downstairs. It was odd not seeing Evelynn already but I dismissed it as even a diva sush as her self needs rest with how busy she's been.

"Hey, there's K/DA's most popular bodyguard" Akali says.

"Is the media still riled up about me?" I question.

"Yup, people seem to like you" Akali replies then sees the food on the table "oooh, pancakes"

Akali sits at the table and Kai'sa smiles "Well, the public sees you in a good light to that's what matters"

"Things could off been worst but I can still see those die hard fans typing away at the computer on how I am constantly in the presence of their goddesses" I say while I imitated typing away at a key board.

Kai'sa giggles a bit then says  "We'll, for more good news, I arranged a date with Stephon"

"Is it so you can finally drop him?" Akali says while drowning her pancakes in syrup.

"Hush you" Kai'sa says while slapping Akali in the back of the head.

"Have you figured out how your going to bring it up to him?" I asked her and she nods.

"Yeah I figured it out" She says.

"Good" I reply.

"These pancakes are awesome (Y/n)" Akali says with her mouth filled with food.

"Thanks, though there nothing special" I say while Kai'sa and I sat down at the table.

"You say that but these are like the best pancakes I've ever eaten, their texture and fluffiness is amazing" Akali says then shoves more pancakes into her mouth.

{Time Skip}

The three of us had finished eating, I thought about waking Evelynn for breakfast but thought it was probably best to let her sleep in. I got a container for the rest of the uneaten food for Evelynn or Ahri if they decided to eat it. As I had finished up the dishes my phone began to ring. I pick it up and see that it's Qiyana.

"Hey Qiyana" I says.

"Hey" She replies "How have things been?"

"As good as things can be for right now, I'm getting along with the K/DA girls just fine" I reply.

"That's good" Qiyana says then asks "How's April doing since the incident?"

"I'm not sure at the moment" I replied "Today will be the first day
"Do you know how she's doing?" Qiyana asks me.

"I'm not sure, today is the first day I'll be able to see her after what happened" I reply.

"I see" She replied.

"How are you guys doing? Tour going well?" I ask her.

"Yeah, things are going good. Ekko and Yasuo haven't gotten in any trouble since Senna has been keeping them in line. No guys have tried hitting on me yet so that's another plus" Qiyana tells me then giggles a bit "It wouldn't matter though, I already have my sights on someone"

"Is that so? Whose the lucky guy?" I tease.

"Not gonna tell~" She sings.

"I'll find out sooner or later" I say.

"I know you will" She replies.

"Well, I got to get going. I'm going to visit April today, I'll talk to you late" I say to her.

"Alright then, take care" She tells me "And say hi for me will you"

"I will" I say.

"See ya" She says then hangs up.

I slip my phone back in my pocket and finished up with cleaning up the kitchen. When I was just about done. A tired looking Evelynn shuffled into the kitchen wearing pajamas, unlike last time when she was wearing only a shirt and panties. Her pink maroon hair wasn't brushed neatly like it usually was.
"Morning Evelynn" I say.

"Morning..." She muttered.

It felt weird seeing Evelynn act sluggish, she always had energy in her. Not the kind that Akali has where it's like she could bounce off the walls if she had enough of it. Evelynn had the kind that's similar to a predator, one that's starving and knows that if it doesn't catch itself some food, it will die.

"Couldn't sleep?" I question.

"Couldn't sleep" She says back, a bit clearer then her greeting.

I poured a mug of coffee and put in two cubes of shifts and a table spoon of cream, the way Evelynn likes it. I walk over and hand it to her.

"Here, have some coffee Eve" I say to Evelynn and she sluggishly takes the mug before taking a sip of the coffee.

"Thank you darling, I needed this" Evelynn says then leans up agains the counter. Evelynn then noticed my attire "Going somewhere?"

"Yeah, I'm going to go visit April" I say as I leaned up against the counter adjacent to her "I know you girls disagreed with me wanting to talk to her before the incident...I hope you understand my motives after finding out what really happened"

Evelynn looks towards me with her golden eyes "We disagreed because to us it was unhealthy to want to talk to someone who had cheated on you, even it was just to find out why. We didn't want you to get hurt" Evelynn says then takes a sip from the mug and looks down at it "Now, after you told us what happened. At first I called bullshit because that sounded like a shitty excuse. I've thought on it since then, and I've changed my thoughts on it"

"So you don't mind it now?" I ask her.

"It isn't my life so I can't really stop you now can I? I mean I could by force if I truly wanted to but realistically speaking. Right now you are our bodyguard, we care for you as a person but we don't have any real right to control your personal life" Evelynn tells me, now rocking her mug around, making the coffee rock inside "I can see how it's possible that what happened with her wasn't her fault, and how that someone could of charmed her into it"

"I'm thankful that you understand Eve" I say with a small smile "I am going to get going now"

I start to walk away and Evelynn says my name "(Y/n)"

"It's been a while since she actually said my name"

"Yes Eve?" I say while stopping and turning to face her.

"I've grown a bit attached to you, so be careful, we don't want to see you hurt. Alright darling?" Evelynn says to me.

"Alright. See you later Eve" I say while turning away and she replies back.

"Later darling"

Part 2.

I sat in the waiting room at Aurelion Sol Research Hospital. I checked in and now I just waited so I could see April. I've been waiting here for about ten minutes or so. I then see Dr. Shen walk into the room.

"Greetings (Y/n)" He says to me as I stand up.

"Morning Doc" I reply.

"April is ready to see you, follow me" Shen says. We begin walking through out the halls of the facility "She's been excited to see you today"

"I bet she has" I say.

We soon arrive at a door with a small glass window in it. Through it I see April, sitting on a sofa fidgeting   with thumbs "This is the room. Stay as long as you like visiting hours end at 5pm. I'm sorry if that is too early"

"I understand, I'm sure there are things she has to do afterwards" I say and Shen smiles.

He opens the door and gestures me to go in "Well be monitoring you two from a room next door, it's to monitor April. If you need anything press the blue button on the wall next to the door"

"Thank you doc" I say then walk inside.

The room was decently sized, there was a sofa, a dinning table, a flat screen tv, and other sorts of furniture inside like a book shelf. On the opposite wall of the door there are windows letting natural light in. There is a door to a bathroom in the room while also being a one way window to view inside the room.

"(Y/n)" April says while standing up.

April was wearing normal clothes, and nothing like a hospital gown or anything. She did however have those non slip socks on with the grips on the bottom. I was guessing they hospital gave her some normal clothes so she could feel more comfortable. I walked over to her and we looked at each other, not knowing what exactly to do. April then slowly raises both arms out, open for a hug. I accept and wlk close and hug her.

"I've missed you (Y/n)" April says as she hugs me tightly.

"Missed you too" I replied back.

We slowly break from the hug then she sits down on the sofa "We should probably talk before we do anything"

"Right" I answer. I sit down on the couch next to her "So, how are you feeling?"

"I'm doing pretty good here, I was excited this morning that today would be the first day you'd be able to come visit but at the same time I was nervous as well, because, you know" April says as she fidgeted with the end of her blouse.

"Makes sense, how is it staying here?" I ask her.

"Well, at first I thought it was going to be like a prison or something but it's the complete opposite. There's a TV in my room that I can use, books to read, great food for being a hospital, and there aren't many tests day by day. I guess the only part I can say is uncomfortable is the therapy, having relive everything" She tells me.

"I'm glad they are treating you well" I say.

"How about you? How are you doing?" April asks me asks me.

"Well, for starters I have a new job" I say.

"Really?!" She reacts surprised "What is it?"

"I'm a bodyguard for some pop-stars. Not sure if you've heard of them but they're called K/DA" I tell her and I see her jaw drop.

"The K/DA? No way, Shut up, you're lying, don't joke with me like that" She says with a small smile while laughing a bit.

"It's true, I live with them now too" I tell her.

"Alright, tell me their names then?" April asks while crossing her arms with a brow raised.

"Ahri, Evelynn, Kai'sa, and Akali" I answer her.

"My bad, that's on me, I set the bar too low" She tells me with a small laugh "Alright, how about something just about now one would know besides you since you live with them"

"Evelynn likes her coffee with two cubes of sugar and one tablespoon of cream" I state and April's eyes narrowed.

"You could be right or could be lying since I wouldn't know" April says "How about something only a die hard fan would know"

"Akali really like ramen" I say.

"Hmmm, I'm not convinced. Say something else" April says to me with her hand on her chin.

"C'mon, why would I lie about something like this?" I ask her.

"Say another" She repeats. Now I could tell she was being a little serious about this.

"Uhh, Ahri's natural hair color is black and not blonde" I say.

"You are telling the truth" April says.

"Why wouldn't I be" I say back.

"So how did you get job as their bodyguard anyway?"  She asks me.

"Well it all started by getting these tickets for them from Yasuo and Ekko, they were supposed to be for the both of us but you know what happened. The ticket included spending the next day with them. Their manager saw how well I did with them and looked into my back ground and saw the fights used to be in. She then offered me the job and I took it" I say to her and she looked at me, not really believing me.

"That's kind of an unbelievable story of anyone else heard that" She says then smiles "But since it's you that's quite believable"

My phone starts to ring and I take it out of my pocket and see the contact. I see that it was Seraphine calling me.

"Seraphine? Whose she?" April asks me.

"I met her at the concert, we kinda became friends after that" I say.

"Well, answer it" April says.

I answer the phone and put it up to my ear "Hello?" I say.

"Hey (Y/n), how are you doing?" She asks me.

"I'm doing good, a little busy right now however" I reply.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, I just wanted to say that I'll be streaming later today and wanted to tell you so you could tune in" She tells me in an apologetic tone.

"Don't worry, thanks for telling me, I'll tune in" I say.

"Great!, my username is SeraphineSings, alright later!" She says then hangs up.

April had a small smirk on her face "Tune in? Is this girl one of those streamers that have hundreds of simps that donate thousands just see her move her boobs just the right way?"

""No, god no, Seraphine isn't like that, she streams herself singing. She dreams of being a singer" I tell April "She's a nice girl"

April continued to smirk "I come out of the picture for not even a month and your talking to girls left and right. Surprised Qiyana hasn't made a move yet" April says.

"Qiyana hasn't made a move? What do you mean by that?" I question.

"You didn't know? Qiyana has like the biggest high school kind of crush on you" April tells me.

My palm met my face as I now realized what she was getting at during that one conversation "That's what she means by wait for me. I'm stupid" I say.

April giggled a bit "It was obvious, how could you not tell. Anyway, you didn't hear it from me"

"You're acting so casual about her liking me that way" I say to her.

April giggled once more "Well, that's because she told me about it and I honestly was debating on letting her join our relationship, I just never got as far as talking to you about it because...." He smile started to faultier.

"Because that's when Micheal started raping you?" I questioned and she nodded "Let's not press to that any further. How about we watch a movie or something together?"

"Before we do, there's something I need to ask you" She says, her voice sounding grim.

"What is it?" I ask.

"About 'us', what are we? It's not like we can just go back to how things were" April says to me.

"We could, but that wouldn't be the right thing to do now would it? After how we separated" I say.

"Right"

"How about we start over again?" I say.

"Start over?" April questioned.

"Yeah, start over, back at square one, friends first then maybe one day if possible another first date" I tell April making her smile grow back.

"I'd like that" She says "Now let's find a movie to watch"

Part 3.

I just got back home after my visitation with April. We watched a couple movies and chatted a bit as we did. I'm glad she was doing well.  I get in the door and I see the girls watching a K-drama together in the living room, minus Evelynn who was paying more attention to her phone.

"Hey, your back" Akali says excitedly.

"Evening Darling" Evelynn says after lifting her head up from her phone.

"Hey girls" I say.

"Dinner will be done soon, it's still in the oven" Kai'sa says.

"Alright" I replied.

"So, how did it go?" Ahri asks me.

"Good, April's doing well and caught up on in each other and watched a couple movies" I explain to Ahri.

"That's good" She replies.

"I'm going to be up in my room, call me when dinner is ready" I say.

"Will do" Kai'sa says.

I go up to my room and boot up my pc and turn on my two monitors. I sit down in my chair and put on my headset. I open Minecraft on my main monitor and on the other I open up Twitch and put in Seraphine's username. Her account comes up and I click on to the stream and I'm met with Seraphine's beautiful singing voice.

I played Minecraft with Seraphine's voice in the background, it was amazing to hear her voice in the wide ranges she put it through as she sang.  As the stream started to near its end Seraphine was speaking to the chat.

"Alright chat, one more song for the evening, any requests?" Seraphine syas into her mic.

I decide donate a small sum to her while also requesting a song.

"Oh, thank you CannonMinion69 for the donation" She says. She had eyed the amount of money I gave her and her eyes went wide a little and looked at the chat that went with it.

"Thank you for the $200 donation, as you request, I'll sing Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day" She says with a smile.

I requested that song since I missed most of it when she was singing it at the Atomic, I wanted to hear it again but the full thing. I gave her the $200 donation because why not. She earned it with that voice of hers.

She sang Boulevard of Broken Dreams, her beautiful voice traveling through my headset and into my ears. I smiled to myself as I watched her sing. She finished the song and then finished off the stream. Not a second later my phone starts ringing. I pick it up and see that it's Seraphine then I answer the phone.

"CannonMinion69" Seraphine says in a someone serious tone.

"That's me" I state.

"$200!!, why would you donate that much to me!!" She shouts through the phone.

"Because you deserved it, every single cent of it Seraphine" I tell her straight "You're voice is amazing and I'd listen to it everyday if I could, it's that good"

"Y-You-...I-I-I-." She stuttered in anger which sounded like before mysteriously hanging up.

I pull the phone away from my ear and see that she had hung up before pocketing my phone. There's a knock at my door and I turn to see Kai'sa.

"Dinner's ready" Kai'sa says.

"Alright, I'll be down in a minute" I tell her.

"Okay" Kai'sa says then walks away.

"Today's been quite a day, an enjoyable one at that"
