POV: You

Part 1.

It's been a couple of days now at the farm, April's been getting better, smiling more. She didn't have a nightmare last night. The girls have been doing things around the farm, Ahri's been going in runs in her fox form, then periodically come and check up on me as her alpha. Kai'sa has been with Mom, learning some cooking skills and Mom has been ecstatic about it. Evelynn has been happily tending to the animals, especially the goats. Seraphine's been writing songs, listening to the sounds of nature she says. Qiyana's been hiking quite a bit, something about keeping her royal legs in shape. Then there is Akali, who's been with me working on the mustang, very much bonding more then we usually would.

Akali and I were in the garage with the mustang right now, it's morning and I was brewing coffee. "Yeah, masochists" I state then walked over to the engine that hung on an engine jack "So, let's find out why she doesn't turn over"

"There's no way you could of done that much damage to the engine for it not want to turn over" Akali says as she walks over by me "Granted, you said everything looked okay so the engine is all that's left"

"Well, we are certainly about to find out" I state.

I begin to unbolt the engine, taking it apart. Once I got to the innards by the pistons, I see the obvious of why the engine wouldn't turn over, the pistons crunched and jammed into the bores. That wasn't even the start of it, there were two massive cracks in the engine itself. All of this was from the one hit of me slamming Jackson onto the hood. That's not including what I did to the suspension from it.

"I think we very much found the problem. Is this even salvageable?" Akali asks me and I scratch my chin a bit.

"Yes and no, if I gave it to a professional than yeah, with a lot of time and money I'd have an engine that has a decent chance of not blowing itself up. Or, we get a new engine" I tell Akali and she glances me.

"Where are we going to find an engine for this? Sure we could put an LS-" She mentions and I cringed a little.

"Yeah, no" I tell her "Why would you even say that Akali?"

"What? I'm just trying to help" Akali grumbles.

"By slabbing that thing into this classic piece of art. No, absolutely not" I tell Akali as I shook my head "Plus, I got something way better then any LS could sound"

"Wait, you do?" She questions.

"In deed, you see, that stock engine is a small block" I say then grabbed onto the large crate that was in the field of parts. I walk it over to Akali and put it on the ground "In this box is its big brother, a big block"

I grab a crow bar and popped the crate open. Inside was a sparkly brand new big block engine "How the hell did you even get your hands on this thing?" Akali asks with start eyes.

"Found it on the other side of Piltover, lost in some guys garage. Apparently his grandpa was gonna do the same thing were gonna do" I say with a smile "I was able to snag it up before anyone else"

I chuckle a bit "Right?, let's get this thing prepped for the car"

{Time Skip}

Part 2.

I drove into town, which was the outskirts of the city,  the valley being where all the farmland was. I was currently in a liquor store looking for the wine Mom likes. As I did, a group enters the store, two guys and a girl, country folk.

"We heard about someone from the city in a nice car driving up and down the valley asking to buy people's land" The other guy says as he rounds the car.

I go to open the door but the first guy shuts my door "You ain't going anywhere city boy" He says.

"Hand of LS my car" I say as I glared at him.

"Or what?" He questions as he grit his teeth.

"I don't remember country guys being this enthusiastic for an ass beating" I say before gut checking the guy.

The guy falls to his knees holding his stomach after I knocked the air out of him, I did it with some force "You're gettin' it now city boy" The other guy says.

"I suggest keeping them boys of yours in check next time" I say as I got into the car and drove off.

I quickly thought back on what that guy said, saying their heard of someone going up and down the valley asking to buy land, they must of confused me for the guy from the other night. {Time Skip}
