POV: You

Part 1.

The girls and I sat in the limo while Braum drove us. The girls were all wearing fashionable dresses, even Akali who was practically forced into it since this is a promotional. Akali wasn't forced to wear heels though. Evelynn's one was the most provocative since it's Evelynn that we are talking about here, she had her metal claws as well. I had one of the new suits on, Evelynn sat next to me, admiring me in it.

"Gwen did well with the suit, and you look dashing in it darling~" Evelynn tells me as she ran her hands around the suit.

"Thanks Eve" I replied.

"This is going to be your first public showing (Y/n), good impressions will matter to the media" Ahri tells me.

"I understand, but it isn't like I'll need to talk much" I say.

"Tonight on, the world is going to know KD/A had a handsome bodyguard~" Evelynn says then giggles a little "I hope there jealous~"

"Eve, you do realize like half of your fans as a group are some horny fuckers right?" I tell her.

"Hey, if they riot, you'll be there to stop them" Akali says with a toothy grin.

I sigh at her comment "There's a difference between getting into a fight with one person and getting into a fight with many" I say "Plus, there is so much I can do if I had to go against an entire crowd"

"That's all of us need to give off a good impression for you, as well as doing it for yourself " Kai'sa says while smiling a bit.

"As long as you don't trigger someone you're good" Akali adds.

"My presence as you girls' body guard can be a trigger" I state.

"Don't you think you're exaggerating I little too much (Y/n)" Ahri says with a small giggle.

"I wish I was exaggerating Ahri" I reply to her "People now days can get set off over the dumbest, most minute things. Twitter is a good example of that"

The window between us and Braum lowers half way before he speaks "We're here everyone. Good luck"

I moved towards the door then took a breath "Alright, let's do this" I say then opens the door.

As I opens the door, I was met with flashes of camera's in my face which annoyed the shit out of me. There was a red carpet to walk from the car to the building's entrance. I step out of the limo then helped each of the girls out. Evelynn was the last one out of the limo. I closed the door and slapped the roof of the car, signaling Braum to leave. Right as Braum leaves Evelynn takes my arm and loops her arm around mine.

"You're staying close to me Darling~" Evelynn says as she looked at me through her shades. Mind you, it's night time.

"Right, first impression you want to give off is that I'm in a relationship with you rather then being you're bodyguard. Well done Eve" I say as we started to walk.

Evelynn giggles at the comment "Don't worry darling~, I have excuses~"

The paparazzi and media outlets were taking pictures and asking questions. The clicks of the cameras and voices of the people asking questions was a little annoying. We ignored most of the questions. The girls giving off some answers to some of the questions until there was one that stuck.

"Evelynn! Evelynn!, whose the man your walking with? Is he your boyfriend?" A woman asks then holds a mic out towards her.

Evelynn smirked before replying "This man here is our new personal bodyguard. Don't you think he's fine one to look at dear?" Evelynn says to the woman while casually dragging her metal finger claws on my arm she was holding, like it was giving her comfort.

"Yes he is, where did you girls pick him up~?" the woman asks, teasing with the diva.

"That's a secret dear, it would be no fun if everyone had eye candy like him walking around" Evelynn says then she and the woman shared a laugh. "We should get going, have a good night dear"

"You too Evelynn" the woman says.

Evelynn and I then continued to walk. The other girls were only a few steps a head of us. Akali was answering some questions,. Ahri posing for a photographer, Kai'sa was hanging back from them, being shy and uncomfortable to the paparazzi.

"Can you give me a second Eve" I say.

"Is there something wrong daring?" She asks me.

"I just want to check on Kai'sa, she looks to be being quite detached" I say and Evelynn lets go of my arm "Thanks Eve"

Evelynn smiles a bit "It's your job after all" She says and I see her wink behind her shades.

I walk over to Kai'sa "Is there something wrong Kai'sa?" I ask her.

"It's all the cameras and questions. I've never been comfortable with the paparazzi" Kai'sa replies back to me.

"Anything else? I ask her.

Kai'sa stayed quiet for a moment before replying "Last time we came to a big promotional like this.... One of those crazed fans tried coming after me"

"I'm here, you don't need to worry about anyone coming after you" I tell her with a small smile.

"K/DA I LOVE YOU!!!" The sound of a man shouts.

"SOMEONE STOP HIM!" Another man shouts.

"Speak of the devil" I mutter.

I look to where the sound came from. Down the red carpet, front of us. A man with a K/DA shirt on and some unkept hair was running towards us. Kai'sa saw the man and instantly got behind me.

"IM YOUR BIGGEST FAN K/DA!"

"Girls, I'll handle this" I say.

I run in front of the girls and towards the man. He tried to go in and punch me but I simply bent my body down and went in and speared the man to the ground. I quickly get up before the could react and flipped him onto his back. I took his arms and held it behind his back.

"Thank you sir" One of the security guards say to me.

"Just doing my job man" I replied.

"K/DA deserve to be with me!!" The man shouted from under me.

"Yeah yeah, what ever you say" another security guard says as he took out his cuffs and cuffed him.

I get off the man and he tried to struggle out of the cuffs. I watched as cameras flashed my way as I watched the security guards take the man away, who continued to spout phrases out of his mouth.

"Our hero~" Evelynn says as she and the girls walked up to me.

"This is what I was hired for after all" I replied.

"That's one way to make a good first impression" Ahri says with a smile.

"Don't you think you took that guy down a little too hard" Akali says.

"Yeah, maybe, let's head inside before another happens" I says.

I feel a tug on my sleeve and I see Kai'sa at my side "Will you stay at my side for a while?" Kai'sa asks me.

"Sure" I reply simply.

I escort the girls and we walked towards the entrance, ignoring the rest of the paparazzi down the red carpet. We get inside the building and things were a bit more calm now since we were away from the cameras and questions.

"Finally away from the paparazzi, they can be so annoying sometimes" Akali states.

"I couldn't agree with you more" Ahri says "They were questioning way too much this time"

"Well, that's because of me obviously" I add.

Evelynn giggles a bit before taking my arm into hers once more "Who else would be the cause darling?~"

I rolled my eyes at her comment and the others giggled a bit as well, besides Kai'sa. We walked through the large hall room like hall, people whispered as they looked out way. Their eyes on me, a guy walking with K/DA whose locked arms with the diva Evelynn as the dancer Kai'sa stuck close. Things were being thought of that wouldn't be true.
A familiar face then comes into view.

"You guys made it, and you brought your eye candy" Syndra says as she walked towards us in a sleek black dress.

"Of course we did, we had to give everyone something else to look at besides us" Evelynn tells Syndra then looks at me "Isn't that right darling~"

"Yes of course" I say, playing along.

"Gwen did good with the suit, she made a handsome man even more handsome with a tad bit more sexy" Syndra says as she examined the suit.

"Where's your man Syndra? Could he not make it tonight?" Ahri asked.

"Sadly he couldn't, he's busy with his work and all. Sometimes he loves using his fists to talk more then his mouth" Syndra replied then sighed "I'm sure if he worked on that he'd have a lot more free time"

"Hey (Y/n), I think you and Syndra's fiancé would get along, he's been in a lot of fights too" Akali says to me.

"If that's the case I may have fought him before then at one point" I reply back.

Syndra giggles a bit "(Y/n) darling, you'd probably become best friends him, maybe you can meet him some time"

"Maybe" I say.

"Well, it seems our little trouble makers are making themselves comfortable now are they?" A woman with dark red hair says as she walks up to us. At her side we're two men in suits with sunglasses on.

"Sorry for the ruckus darling, but our bodyguard took care of it" Evelynn tells the woman.

"Bodyguard?" The woman questions as she eyes me up and down, noticing Evelynn and I'd arms looped together "Seems more like your lover then an bodyguard dear"

Evelynn chuckles a bit "He's not my lover just yet Elise, he's playing hard to get"

"Evelynn wanting a lover? Are you on drugs per haps Eve?" Syndra questions.

Evelynn scoffs "Oh please, you know me dear. I don't do relationships. Making him a boy toy is a different topic however~"

"I told you already Eve, I'm not becoming your boy toy"  I state.

"I know darling~, but it doesn't hurt to try~" Evelynn says.

I rolled my eyes at her remark and she giggled a bit "How are you Kai'sa?, you've been awfully quiet" Syndra asks her as Kai'sa stood next to me.

"I-I'm fine Syndra" Kai'sa replied simply.

Akali then decided to become a peanut gallery "She's having problems with her boyfriend"

"Akali!" Ahri spouts while elbowing her.

"What, she's not going to say it" Akali states.

"It's not our business" Ahri tells Akali.

"Tell us what's wrong dear?" Elise asks Kai'sa, worried for her.

"I-It's...he's been..well...pushy" Kai'sa says, fidgeting with her dress "I understand it's a relationship but...I don't know if I'm comfortable with going into that phase with him yet...."

"I see what your saying dear" Syndra replies "Every relationship takes time, some go at a faster rate then others as well. There's no need to push yourself if you aren't comfortable with it"

"I-I just, want to make him happy too...you know?" Kai'sa states.

"We understand what your saying, but let me ask, What has he done for you darling? Evelynn asks Kai'sa and looked like Evelynn hit Kai'sa where it hurt.

Kai'sa seemed to almost collapse on herself. She stayed silent and didn't answer. After a moment she speaks up "I'm going to go get some air" Kai'sa says before rushing off.

With an instinctive movement, I undo my arm from Evelynn's "I'll take care of her"

"You do that darling" Evelynn says, slight guilt in her tone.

I rush in the direction I saw Kai'sa go in. I took some time trying to find the tall dancer in the mists of this place. I make my way outside into a small court yard attached to the building. On the bench facing a flowing fountain was a figure with purple hair that was set in two buns. I walk over and see Kai'sa tearing up, wiping what ever tears roll down her cheeks.

"Here" I say while taking out a handkerchief and handing it to her.

"Thanks" She says as she takes the handkerchief from my hand and blots the tears with it.

"May I sit?" I ask and she nods "What's wrong Kai'sa?"

"What Eve was getting at....she's right...I try my best for him a lot but....I don't think I can recall him ever really doing anything for me. Sure he's taken me out on dates but that's really it..." Kai'sa explained to me.

"Relationships are two way streets, partners are supposed to think of the other more then themselves. Doing things for each other to show how much they care" I tell her.

Kai'sa hung her head as she thought to herself. Her expression was gloomy, like if she had finally realized the thorn in the relationship between her and her boyfriend. However, from the sound of it, there are two thorns but one being a lot bigger then the other.

"(Y/n), how did you and April do it?" Kai'sa asks me as she resided her head to look at me.

"Like how we showed we cared for each other?" I ask her.

"Yes"

"Well, for us, it was more of small things then big things. Of course we went on dates, but sometimes when I could I'd show up at her work with coffee and lunch, or maybe when she has the day off she'd make a charming dinner for two" I tell Kai'sa "Back when we were in college, when we first started dating, it was awkward, we both never been in a relationship before that. We figured it out after a while and some things naturally developed. After three years, in one way or another we were able to show each other how much we loved each other"

"W-when you were with April. D-did you have s-sex to show how much you loved each other?" Kai'sa muttered, embarrassed to ask the question.

I chuckled a bit and told her "Well of course, but, sex isn't required to show how much you love your significant other. It's more of a bonus rather then a requirement"

"I-I s-see" Kai'sa replies, she still seemed saddened "I guess my relationship with my boyfriend isn't a very good one then..."

"Look Kai'sa, relationships can have its rough patches" I say to her "If you want to progress your relationship with your boyfriend for the better. You need to talk to him about how you feel, about what your relationship needs. Not through texting, not over the phone, In person, face to face. Do you understand what I am saying?"

Kai'sa nods "I understand" She says then embraces me in a hug "Thank you (Y/n)"

"No problem Kai'sa" I say, patting her back. We pull away from the hug and Kai'sa had a small smile on her face "Feeling better?"

"Yes, I am" Kai'sa syas then stands up "We should get back to the others"

"Right" I reply as I get on my feet.

"Oh...here" she says while holding out my handkerchief.

"How about you hold onto it" I tel her.

"R-really?" She reacted surprised.

"Mhmm" I hum while nodding "Just I care you need it"

"Thank you again (Y/n)" Kai'sa tells me.

"And as I said. No problem Kai'sa" I tell her, the both of us then made our way back inside the venue.

"I'm glad Kai'sa feels better now"
