Chapter 8

POV: You

Part 1.

I'm on my bike, making my way towards Seraphine's home. I'm sure she's all in a craze, running all around her room getting ready, wanting to find the perfect outfit, I find that kind of cute in a way. I arrive at Seraphine's house and outside tending to roses was a woman with a striking resemblance to Seraphine. She had a star in her cheek as well but it was on the opposite cheek compared to Seraphine.
The woman sees me and waves to me as I took my helmet off.

"Hello!, you must be (Y/n), the one Seraphine's been talking about all week" Her mom says to me.

"That's me" I say as I got off of my bike.

She comes walking up to me with her hands out "Hi, I'm Lexie" She says.

"(Y/n)" I responded "I presume Seraphine is still getting ready"

Lexie giggles "That girl can take forever sometimes" She says then looks up to the second floor window "Seraphine!, your boyfriend's here!!"

The window opens revealing Seraphine whose hair was still in a mess, maybe bed head or something else "Mom! He isn't my boyfriend!" Seraphine shouts "I'll be down in a minute (Y/n)!"

Seraphine closes the window then goes to finish her hair. Lexie turns to me with a small smile "(Y/n), may I ask you a question?"

"Go ahead" I say.

"Are you interested in my daughter?" Lexie asks me.

"I'm sorry but I've only known Seraphine for a small amount of time" I reply to her and she nods a little.

"You are the first boy Seraphine has ever brought to the house. I'd say given time she may fall for you" Lexie says with confidence to me.

"I'm here to be her friend" I tell her and she giggles once more.

"That may be, but I know my little girl very well" She tells me.

The front door of the house opens and we see Seraphine who was slightly out of breath. She was slipping her shoes on and then walked over to us in a rushing manner.

"Sorry, sorry" Seraphine says then gives her mom a look, one with some worry "You didn't tell him anything embarrassing did you?"

"Of course not" Lexie says to her daughter, pretending to be offended "Why would you think I did such a thing?"

"First time I brought my friends over you went straight to baby pictures" Seraphine tells her mom.

"Well it's a parents duty to embarrass their child, you're luckily your father wasn't home" Lexie says and Seraphine sighed.

"He would of made if far worst..."

"Any who, I'll let you two get on to your date" Lexie says as she starts ti walk back over to her roses.

"It's not a date mom!" Seraphine shouts, starting to get flustered.

Lexie giggles at her daughter "Whatever you say sweetie. Have fun!"

"I will Mom"

"It was nice meeting you ma'am" I say.

"Take good care of my daughter, young man" Lexie says with a smile.

"I will" I say, I then turned and faced Seraphine who had a small blush on her face "I don't know why you were so worried about your hair. You gotta put this on anyway"

I then held out my helmet to her "You wouldn't understand what hair means to a girl" Seraphine pouts.

"Oh I do" I say with a small smile then thought "Just not I'm the way that you think"

Seraphine puts the helmet on and I get on the motorcycle, she then gets on the back and holds onto my waist "Any where you want to eat at?" I ask her.

She simply lays her head on my back "How about you pick?"

"Alright then" I say then start the motorcycle.

{Time Skip}

After some driving I get to a good looking restaurant. We didn't conversation much until we got to our table and ordered our food. It seemed like Seraphine was nervous but also had some questions for me. She's had a light blush on her face the entire time. To break the tension between us I spoke up.

"So, Seraphine, why did you want to hang out today?" I ask her.

She smiles a little "I want to be friends with you. You're a pretty cool guy" Seraphine says.

"Do you ask anyone to be their friend?" I ask her.

"Well, no, it's just....your the first person I've felt comfortable speaking to that I didn't meet from school or work. I was so nervous the day of the concert, I've never been in a big public place like that before all alone" Seraphine tells me.

"I see" I say.

"Hey, how did your day with K/DA go?" Seraphine asks in an excited tone. Wanting to hear my experience.

"It went well, a lot of shopping" I tell her and she giggles.

"As expected, what about the girls? Like any of them?" Seraphine says with a smirk.

"I've only hung around with them for a day, but I will say that Evelynn has her sights on me" I say to her.

"Oh~, you caught Evelynn's eye, how scandalous" Seraphine says and giggles a bit.

"The other girls are nice too. No facade I could find. I enjoyed their company and so did they to mine" I tell her.

"That's good to hear" She says.

"You mentioned that you work, what do you for work if you don't mind me asking"

"Oh, I'm a barista at a coffee shop, I sing there as well from time to time" Seraphine replies.

"I'm sure you attract a lot of customers with your voice" I say and her blush darkens a little.

"Yeah, my boss is good to me, he lets me keep the tips from my singing and some of my friends work there as well" Seraphine tells me "How about you? Where do you work?"

"I don't think it would be appropriate to say. I just got it today. I'll leave it off at saying I'm a bodyguard" I tell Seraphine and she was curious.

"Is it someone famous?" She asks me.

"You could say that" I replied.

"C'mon, don't be like that, it's not like your K/DA's new bodyguard" She says, being dramatic about it and I just sat there staring at her without a response. She sees me just staring at her and she slowly realizes that she was right "Oh My Go-"

Seraphine as about to shout but I reach over the table and cover her mouth "Seraphine, right now no one can know. Can you keep it a secret for me?" I say to her and she slowly nods.

I slowly remove my hands from her mouth and Seraphine begins to silently react excitedly at the revelation "Oh my god that's so cool!" She whisper shouts "You get to be around K/DA like 24/7!"

"Well I do have to move in with them" I tell her and she looked like she was about to faint.

"I envy you" Seraphine says as she slumps in her seat before darting back up "How did you get that job anyway?"

"Their manager called me. I don't want to go into too much detail about it but, she essentially found out what I used to do and the girls spoke fondly of me so yeah. Now I work as K/DA's bodyguard" I tell her. She looked at me curiously.

"What did you used to do?" She asks me.

"It's better if you didn't know" I tell her and she begins to pout.

"It can't be that bad" Seraphine says.

"Believe me, it was" I tell her.

Seraphine pouts once more "Fine, I won't push any more"

"How about this Seraphine, after working with them for a while, some day I try to bring you to meet them again" I tell her.

"Really!" Seraphine says as her mood switched like a lightbulb. Now excited and giddy " You'd do that for me?!"

I chuckle a little "It wouldn't be that big of a deal to work out"

She smiles before getting out of her seat and and walking around and hugging me tightly "Thank you"

"Don't sweat it. You're a kind girl, think of it as another way of thanking you for helping me out of the rut that I'm in" I tell her then suggest "Maybe you could sing for them when the time comes. I'm sure they'd be thrilled to hear your angelic voice, and with your bubbly personality they'll love you even more"

Seraphine begins to blush and she goes to sit back down "You are way too nice" Seraphine says.

"On occasions" I say with a smile.

Her blush grew a little darker "Hey....I stream from time to time and sing....would you watch join some time and watch"

"It would be a pleasure to hear that voice of yours at work" I tell her and her cheeks were now red as a tomato.

"I-I need to go to the bathroom" Seraphine says as she stands up "I-I'll be right back"

POV: Seraphine

My face was warm and I was starting too...I don't even know what I was feeling. I made my way to the bathroom and then looked at my self in the bathrooms large mirror. I was a blushing mess, (Y/n)'s too kind, too nice.

"Damn it Sera what's wrong with you, there's no reason to be a blushing mess" I tell myself in the mirror "(Y/n)'s only complementing you. It's not like you haven't been complemented before, especially your voice"

Maybe it's his smile. It's so comforting and sweet, it some how makes me happy seeing it. I haven't known him for that long....there's no way I can be falling for him. He's not flirting with me is he, no, just compliments. Then why are compliments I've gotten before hit differently when it comes out of his mouth.

"C'mon Sera, (Y/n) just being nice, he's not flirting. I would of picked up if he was flirting...right?" I say to the mirror.

I then start getting nervous thinking about it "What if he is flirting with me...I mean...if got to know home more I wouldn't mind being with him maybe....(Y/n) seems like a great guy....if K/DA likes his company then surely he's a really great guy"

Now I started to stress myself out as I now fidgeted with my hair "Keep it together Sera, calm down, calm down"

I try calming myself down. After some time I was finally able to get myself to a manageable level. I look in the mirror one final time and smaller before leaving the bathroom.

POV: Evelynn

I'm walking through the all of the penthouse and up from the second floor of the penthouse I see Gumiho sitting on the couch. She was just staring at her phone. I walk down the stairs and over to the couch. I walk behind her silently and looked over her shoulder. She was staring at (Y/n)'s contact with a blank text and the small bar blinking.

"Can't build up the courage?" I spoke.

Ahri jumps up in her seat and drops her phone on the couch as she turned around to look at me "What the hell Eve!, you scared the shit out of me!" Ahri shouts.

I let out a small chuckle as I pick up her phone "Wanting to message (Y/n)? Seems you messaged him a few times, what's so different about this time?" I question and Ahri avoids my gaze. A mischievous smile grows on my face "My little Gumiho wants to go in a date with (Y/n) doesn't she~"

"I-It's not like that" Ahri says as her cheeks flushed pink "I just want to get o know him more"

"So do I~, maybe we should invite him over tomorrow~" I tell her.

"B-but that's when the bodyguard is moving in" Ahri retorts.

I chuckle "I believe the girls and I can keep the bodyguard company as you have a moment with (Y/n), especially me~"

"Aren't you interested in him?" Ahri asks me.

"Of course, but if our fox is interested as well, I don't mind letting you have your time with him" I say to her then touched her phone a bit "How about we call him?"

I call (Y/n) through Ahri's phone and Ahri jumps towards me "Eve n-no w-wait!" I had her phone in one of my lashers and she was trying to reach for it "E-Evelynn give me my phone!"

"Ahri?" We both hear through the phone then I drop the phone in her hand.

Ahri scrambled with phone before put it to her ear "Uh, H-Hey (Y/n), how are you doing?"

"That's good, I-I was wondering if you'd like to come over for dinner tomorrow" Ahri tells (Y/n). As he replies I see her face become bright and her ears perked up "Really!, that's great, I'll message you address. Alright. see you at 7!"

She pulls the phone away from her ear and looked at me "He said he'll be over at 7..." She tells me.

I smirk "Now was that so hard daring?"

Ahri blushed a little before speaking up "Thank you Eve"

"It's apart of my job Gumiho" I tell her "Now, I get to try to seduce two men now"

"Eve!" Ahri let's out and I chuckle away.

"Oh Gumiho, even with the bodyguard, (Y/n) isn't one I can let get away"
