Chapter 15

POV: You

Part 1.

It's morning of the next day, I just finished taking a shower taking a shower and now I just exited the bath room. I was wearing an under shirt and gym shorts. Just as I closed the door, a certain someone entered the hallway from their room.

"My, my, look whose teasing now darling" Evelynn says as she walked towards me, eyeing my exposed arms and shoulders.

"Don't get your hopes too high Evelynn" I state.

Evelynn stepped closer, looking at some of the scars on the exposed skin, tracing some of them with her finger "I assume these are from fighting?" Evelynn coos.

"Some, people don't exactly play fair in fights" I tell her.

Evelynn smirks before putting her lips close to my ear "If you expose anymore skin, I may have to pounce on you on sight" She whispers into my ear. Her breath making me shudder slight.

Evelynn giggled a bit at the reaction before slithering her arms down my chest before slowly backing away with that smirk still on her face. She then starts to make her way down stairs, taking a few glances at me as she did.

"Does she think she'll get to me that easily?" I say while shaking my head and walking towards my room.

I get in my room and my phone dings as I get a text message. I take my phone out of my pocket and looked at the notification bar.

"Help me"

I was confused to all hell. I open up my phone then go to the message. It was from a number I've never seen before, but I could tell it was a Piltover number. Another message from the unknown number.

"Meet me at the coffee shop on main "

"What the hell?" I thought "Is someone trying to prank me?"

"I can explain everything that happened. Please come as soon as possible"

Now after the third message there wasn't another message after that. Something inside now told me this was real. Then I realized it, it was April, it was only a gut feeling but that gut feeling put me into panic mode. Whether it was real or not, I needed to make sure. Even with what she did to me, ever since then I wasn't able to fully let go of her, I still cared about her even so.

"Fuck"

That was the only word that went through my mind as I quickly got clothes on. As soon as I was able to I bolt out of my room and down the stairs. Evelynn noticed my behavior as she sat on the couch.

"Leaving so soon? Kai'sa's making breakfest" Evelynn says.

"It's an emergency" I state as I grabbed my helmet and keys off the small side table by the door.

I exit the penthouse and got in the elevator as fast as I could. I pressed the garage button and had no choice but to wait anxiously as the elevator slowly moved. My leg started to bounce slightly as the pressure was starting to get to me.

"C'mon, move faster" I say to the elevator with no reply because it's a damn elevator.

The elevator stops at the garage and I head directly towards my bike. I hop on it and slip my helmet on before starting the engine and zooming out of the garage.

{Time Skip}

Arrive at the coffee shop the text message mentioned. I quickly parked my bike and set the helmet on the handle bar as I got off. I walked to the front of the shop from where I parked and stopped where I was when I saw her. It was her, she looked around in anxiety, as if she was seeing if someone was watching her. She was wearing skinny jeans and a tank top, her eyes were red from crying and her lips were chapped. April was sitting at one of the outside tables alone.

I finally got my legs to move after a bit and made my way over to her. She notices me walking towards her. It looked like she was about to stand up but decided not to. I got in front of her, I saw dark circles under her eyes.

"What happened April? What's wrong" I question with concern as I sat down.

"I-" she says, her voice was raspy from crying "You don't have to believe what I'm going to tell you but it's the truth"

"What do you mean by that?" I state.

"I never wanted to cheat on you. I'd never do that, I wanted to be with you forever" April stated "Then HE came into the picture, I don't know what he did to me, but he made my body move on its own, made me say things I didn't want to say"

"Are you talking about that guy I caught you with?" I questioned and she nodded.

"His name's Michael, I'm not sure anymore however. He came in to my job one day a month and a half ago. That's when it started, He-" She said and she began to cry "He raped me (Y/n), I-I couldn't move my body, It felt like I was imprisoned in my on mind"

I knew April very well, acting was not her strong suit. She was telling the truth, it all was. I clenched my fists, anger started to bellow inside me, not just towards this guy, but at myself for allowing this to happen to her.

"That Friday, I knew he was going to come over after you left for work, I wanted to tell you, but I was  afraid of how you'd react. I knew you wouldn't believe me at the time-" April explained quietly as she continued to cry.

"That's why you tried to get me to stay home. You wanted me to face him before he could do it to you again" I state and she nodded then I asked "What about the money?"

"Money? What money?" April says, confused.

It then clicked, this guy, he knew I'd find out some day, or maybe he planned that day out to begin with. It's entirely possible that he's the reason I got fired. Then after getting home, he knew any sane man would want to throw their cheating girlfriend out. He took the money I stashed to make it worse and confirm that I'd want nothing to do with her.

"That mother fucker"

"Who.is.he?" I state. She heard the anger in my voice, the anger I was trying to hold back.

"I-I-I don't know anymore, all I know was he was a business man" April tells me then explained "He kidnapped me after you threw me out. He kept me locked up in a room of his place, probably so that you could never find me if you went looking. I-I don't think the man you saw was the real him"

"So like he was able to change is appearance?"  I ask.

"Y-yeah, it sometimes felt like there was something on his lower back but I was only that close to him when he was raping me" April says to me.

Now, I wanted to pummel whoever this 'Michael' guy really is. I wanted to break him in every way possible. When I was done with him, all the bodies  I'd left behind before in my life would look like proper human anatomy.

"I-I was able to escape. I don't know where he lived, I didn't care, once I was able to get out of that room I just kept running" She tells me as she was about to cry again.

That was it for me and I stood up "Let's go you're coming with me" I tell her.

She smiled a weary smile as she stood up. Her face then changed she looked mortified and then put her hand over her ears as she slowly away from me.

"April what's wrong" I questioned with concern.

"N-no, g-get way from me" She says "I don't want too"

"April" I state.

April began to mutter words laced with fear, the pressure around her began to build up. Utensils, small dishes, and other things around her began to levitate slightly.

"I won't let you control me again!!" She shouts while letting out a blast.

I get blown back and I hit the brick wall of the coffee shop. Everything was blurry, and my ears rang. I was dazzled from the impact. I heard screaming and the sounds of cars swirling and cashing into each other. I slowly regained my senses and my vision started to clear. As I slowly stand up I see my surroundings. The glass of the coffee shop was broken and the street was mostly barren now. I see a small wall of cars and a pink glow behind it. I rush over to the cars, trying to see if I can see a way inside.

I find a small opening but it wasn't enough for me to get inside. Inside the wall of cars was April, she looked terrified. Small pebbles and rubble floating around her, orbiting her like planets do a sun. Her body had a pink glow to it, her hair floated like if she was in water. That's when caught sight of her eyes, that's when I realized that April had become a Fallen. Her eyes were black with her pupils now glowing pink.

"April!" I shout to her.

"(Y/n)!" She shouts back in a scared voice.

"Stay there, I'll get you out from there" I tell her.

"N-No!, stay away from me!, I don't want to hurt you!" She shouts.

I hear sirens of the police and soon the sounds of cars pull up. I turn around and see Caitlyn and her pink haired partner Vi, come running up to me.

"(Y/n), why are you doing here?" Caitlyn questions.

"Yeah, there's a report of a Fallen here" Vi adds.

I look them in the eyes "April is the Fallen"

Part 2.

POV: Akali

The four of us were eating a very delicious breakfest that Kai'sa prepared for us. Once we all got down to the living room Evelynn told us (Y/n) left in a hurry.
Right now we were watching the news because there was nothing good on TV right now so that's what Kai'sa put on.

"After I'm done eating I'm going to go back on (Y/n) PC and game" I tell the others.

"His PC? Oh~ I got to see what dirty things hoarding" Evelynn says.

"That's invasion of privacy Eve" Ahri tells her.

"He doesn't need to know, though still, he can invade me any day of the week~" She replies seductively.

The TV then read breaking news as it played dramatic music "Breaking news, just a few minutes ago, a Fallen has appeared on Main St, here's live footage from our helicopter cam" The news lady says.

The screen then shows a scene, there was a wall of cars around a girl who was glowing pink. I then nearly spit out my food as I recognized (Y/n).

"Holy shit (Y/n)'s there!" I shout while pointing at the screen.

"What? Really?" Ahri says while looking at the screen and then see sees (Y/n) who was talking to Caitlyn who was on the scene.

"Why would he be there?" Kai'sa questions.

"The girl" Evelynn states while looking at the screen "It's her, his ex"

"Why would he go to meet her?" I questioned.

"Probably to get answers on what happens between them" Ahri explained "Though I'm curious to know why it turned out like this"

"We can ask (Y/n) that later when we see him again" Kai'sa says.

"Hmm, I wonder what happened. I guess I'll find out later like Kai'sa said. In the mean time I can distract my mind with ripping and tearing demons apart"
