Chapter 5

POV: Ahri

Part 1.

The four of us in our penthouse getting ready for today, we're all getting ready so we can spend our day with that guy from pat night, (Y/n). He's an interesting one, I can sense it. Just from meeting him I could see that he's been through a lot. We are all internally happy that we don't have to spend the day with someone that would make us put on a facade, not that we'd tell each other that.

I sit at the vanity in my room brushing my hair. I was already dress for the day, we agreed that we probably shouldn't wear anything too flashy, however Evelynn may go against that. As I started to finish up, Akali bursts through my door and flops onto my bad.

"Hey Ahri, question" She says while watching me from my bed.

"Go ahead and shoot" I say.

"Sooo, that guy we are hanging out with today, (Y/n), what do you think of him?" Akali asks me, now she's twirling her kunai around on her finger.

"There's not much to say really, we only just met him last night" I tell her then raised a brow while looking at her through my mirror "Why do you ask?"

She shrugs her shoulders "I hope he's a nice guy, I mean, from the things I've heard Ekko say about him, That relationship he was in that he just got out of lasted over three years. Kinda reminded me of what happened between you and you know who"

I sigh "Don't get me started on him, he cheated on me with not just one, but three girls. Just couldn't keep his dick dry" I say, I didn't even notice how tightly I gripped my brush now.

"Yeah, and what sucks more was that the fucker was your first" Akali says with disgust.

"Why did you bring him up now? It's been a six months" I question before setting my brush down and turning to her.

"Well, maybe, if things go well today, you and (Y/n) could you know, start something" Akali says.

I roll my eyes at the suggestion "How about we not fantasize my next 10 years with a guy I spoke to for not even 10 minutes"

"Talking about boys in here?" Kai'sa says as she leaned against true door frame.

"Akali's saying I should try to get with the guy from last night" I told her.

"Oh? You mean (Y/n)?" She says curiously "Hey, if it works out it could heal the hole in your heart"

"How's your relationship doing, with what's his name?" Akali says trying to remember the guy's name, I didn't bother to remember either "What was it...Stephon?"

"We've been...rocky as of late" Kai'sa says, acting like she doesn't want to talk about it.

"Why?, what's wrong?" Akali asked.

"He's been a little pushy" Kai'sa says.

Evelynn then walks in "He's a horn dog I'd say"

"Probably getting impatient, what's it been? 9 months? And you guys till haven't done it?" I say to her.

"Most definitely. Our little Kai'sa is too reserved to just hand her V card to any one?, isn't that right darling" Evelynn says to Kai'sa.

"Hitting the nail on the head" Kai'sa says with a sigh.

"We should get going, Braum is probably waiting for us right now" I say as I stand up from my chair.

I exit the room first and shaking my head at the thoughts I was having "Damn it Akali, now you have me fantasizing..."

Part 2.

POV: You

I dressed in casual going out clothing, hopefully the girls of K/DA dress at least some what casually. I really don't feel like sticking out like a sore thumb more then I already will with them. With the money from Qiyana, I paid the over due rent and next months rent so at least I'm not being kicked out. After this I'm going to have to start looking for another job, and damn that's gonna suck, unless I go back to my previous line of work but that's a last resort.

I stood at the entrance of my apartment building, leaning against its brick exterior. They know where I live since I had to put my address into he little slip when I got into the concert with the ticket.  As I waited I just thought of what these girls had planned for the day, hoping it was something simple. As I thought that, a small limo pulls up in front of me.

"So much for simple" I thought as I sighed.

The door in the back opens and I see that Akali was the one that opened it "Sup, hop in"

I stand there for a moment, surprised at her casualty before stepping into the limo. I see the four girls, all wearing not so flashy clothes that wouldn't make them stand out more then they already do.

"Come sit here darling" Evelynn says as she tapped next to her with her left hand.

I didn't feel like causing anything or worse, getting on Evelynn's bad side so I sit next to her. The limo then starts to go. "Good morning ladies" I say to them.

"Hey" Ahri says and Kai'sa stayed quiet.

"Sooo, what's the plan for today?" I say while looking at them.

"We're going to this outlet mall we go from time to time" Kai'sa says with a small smile.

"So shopping?" I question.

"Don't make it sound too bad, I was actually excited to show you this ramen place they have there" Akali tells me.

"Are you not a fan of shopping?" Evelynn asks me with her hand on her chin.

"It's more of the act of girls and shopping" I state to them.

"Let me guess, your ex dragged you with her?" Evelynn says.

"Yeah, but, I always pushed myself through it to see her smile on the end" I replied.

"What a trooper" Akali exclaims.

"Anyway, before we go into the endless abyss which is Exs, today is supposed to be fun" Ahri says with a smile then asks "How about we get to know you a little more?, like where do you work?"

"I'm currently unemployed as of two days ago. Got fired for bullshit reasons. I was an IT technician" I say.

"IT?" Evelynn says then she puts her hands on my right arm, feeling the muscle "I would of thought you did something a little more labor intensive with arms like these"

"Those are to defend myself" I say to Evelynn.

Ahri raised a brow "Defend yourself? From who?"

I sigh, hoping I don't regret what I say "It's because I'm powerless"

The four of them start to giggle a bit and now I'm regretting it "That's cute, I like it" Evelynn says then loops her arm around mine, trying to be seductive.

"I agree with Evelynn on that point" Ahri says while she continued to giggle, holding her hand infront of her mouth.

"Cute?" I say confused "How is being powerless cute?"

"Yeah, I mean, lots of guys with powers are usually some what arrogant, and it shows against people without powers. So, no powers, no arrogance that comes with it" Akali says.

"Yeah, you're just, you, know you" Kai'sa adds.

I chuckle a bit "That's uplifting to hear. Usually most aren't so calm about people without powers"

"The friends you have is a testament that they're are people who don't care whether people have powers or not" Ahri says.

"Yeah, that's for sure" I reply.

The limo then comes to a stop and the barrier between the passenger compartment and driver's compartment goes down and we hear a hefty voice "We are here everyone" The man's voice says.

I look at the guy and notice it was the guy from the night before that was guarding the VIP room. The one with the nice mustache "Thanks Braum!" Akali shouts.

I take the initiative and I open the door. I get out first and held the door open for the girls "Thanks darling~" Evelynn says as she steps out of the limo.

The others thank me in their own way out of the limo. I close the door after they get out, then the drivers door opens and then Braum steps out of the limo. I was kinda surprised he even got in the limo with his size.

"Have a good day ladies" Braum says to the girls as he leaned up against the limo.

"C'mon (Y/n), let's go" Akali says as she grabs my wrist and pulls me along.

Akali dragged me to the group before we started walking together. I was in the middle of them, Akali and Kai'sa on my left and Ahri and Evelynn on my right. Evelynn being unreasonably close.

"Where too first?" Akali questions.

"How about we let (Y/n) pick?" Ahri says.

"Alright, where to darling?" Evelynn asks me as she loops her arm with mine.

I internally sigh at Evelynn's straight forward advances "How about that one of there?" I say while pointing at the store.

"Oh my~, how did you know that was our favorite store here darling?~" Evelynn coos.

"I didn't, I just pointed at the most expensive store I saw" I thought as a reply.

"Lucky guess" I state.

The five of us walk over to the store. I could feel the eyes of others on us, on me, and it was kinda uncomfortable. It's like they could burn holes through my soul with how some of these people looked at me. We reach the store and head inside. There weren't any customers inside, probably because everything in this place is to damn expensive.

"Hi ladies, it's nice seeing you again" A woman in a dress greets us with a smile then notices me "Boyfriend perhaps?"

"Maybe~" Evelynn says.

I roll my eyes at her statement, going unnoticed by everyone "He's a guy we want to hang out with and get to know better" Ahri says with a bright smile. It was a lot better then telling the woman the truth, unless that's truth to her.

"Names (Y/n)" I say to the woman and her smile didn't faultier.

"Well, I hope you find something you like, come find me if you need anything" The woman says before walking off.

Akali leans close to us and speaks quietly "I'm not the only one sensing that smile was fake right?"

Evelynn sighs as she unloops our arms "It's not surprising really, they hold us way to high"

"Sorry (Y/n)..." Kai'sa says.

"There's nothing for either of you to be sorry about. Get to the shopping. I know you girls are just eager to show me different outfits" I say to them.

"Reading our minds are we?" Evelynn says.

"Maybe you aren't powerless after all, you're good at reading the minds of women" Akali exclaims.

"If that we're true Akali, I'd be able tell anything about a girl" I say with a sigh.

"Let's put it to the test" Akali says excitedly then asks "What's Ahri's hair color?"

"Black" I state. The four girls just looked at me dumb founded.

"That was just a lucky guess right?" Ahri asks with a nervous laugh.

"So I'm right?" I question.

"Yes" Kai'sa says.

"How did you know?" Evelynn questions.

"If you look closely you can see a faint black at the root of her hair where it's growing" I state.

"It's that noticeable!, I haven't been able to get it done again!" Ahri says as she started to panic.

"Don't worry, no one can tell that easily, I only noticed because it's what I'm good at, like my sisters, it runs in the family" I say.

Evelynn grew interest "Sisters?"

"Yup, two of 'em, one older , one younger. I'll tell you about them another time maybe if we do talk again" I say.

"Let's get to it and not waste any more time" Kai'sa says.

Ahri, Evelynn, and Kai'sa started to roam the store while Akali was still dumb founded. She then looks at me with a eager look "Teach me your ways"

"It's not exactly something I can teach, it just comes naturally, like your rapping, not everyone can do it" I tell her.

"Aww, something like that would so help me on my ninja side of things" Akali says, slightly down.

I pat her back with a smile on my face "C'mon, don't think to hard about it. Go on roam around with the others. I'm looking forward to seeing what you pick out"

Akali nods before walking off. I walk around a bit, keeping my eyes on the girl as I did. Soon enough Evelynn come up to me with a handful of clothes and a smirk on her face with her shades down.

"I have some outfits I'd like to show you (Y/n)" Evelynn says. She then takes my wrist and pulls me over to where the dressing rooms were.

I sit down at the bench in front of the dressing room. From the bench and could see outside the store as well "I'll be out in just a minute" Evelynn says before going into the dressing room.

I waited on the bench for Evelynn and the Kai'sa comes to my side with nothing in hand "Didn't find anything?"  I ask.

"Not this time, plus I have enough clothes anyway" She replies with a small smile.

Evelynn comes out of the dressing room with one of the outfits she picked out "What do you think darlings?" Evelynn says to us as she did a few poses.

"It looks great on you Eve" Kai'sa says to her.

"And what about you (Y/n)?" Evelynn says with a raised brow, looking for my insight.

"Evelynn, you will look good in just about anything" I reply and she smirks, expecting that answer.

"I know dear, that's why we have to find what doesn't" Evelynn says before going back into the dressing room.

Kai'sa and I waited quietly, I looked out the front window of the shop as we did. I then see a figure with bright golden hair surrounded by three men off in the ally by the bathrooms. I clench my fists a so stand up.

"I'll be right back" I state before heading towards the entrance of the store.

"Where ya going?" Akali asks as she sees me walking towards the door.

"I have to take care of a small problem, I'll be back in a few minutes" I reply then exited the store.

I kept my focus on the figure surrounded by the men. As I got closer, the figure with the bright blond hair came into the view. A familiar girl who looked kind of frightened with the men around her.

"What's the problem?" I question as I come close to the group.

One of the men turn around to see me "None of your business so piss off" The man says.

The girl sees me and her face relaxed, she knows I came to help her. I stepped closer "This is very much my business, so step away from the girl"

"What's she to you?" Another man asks.

"I'm her brother" I state before launching forward and punching the first guy with a great amount of strength..

The man falls to the ground, lights out for him. I turn to the other two men then gave the second guy an uppercut to the jaw, most certainly breaking his jaw as then man cried to the pain. The third guy hold his hand out like if he was about to shoot something out of it, however his arm was shaking.

"Lux, get behind me" I state to her and she nods.

She gets behind me as I stared down the man "Really wanna do what your about to do?" I question the man.

The man contemplated his options before making the right one and running away like a dog with its tail between its legs. I put my fists down and relaxed my hands. I turn around to face Lux.

"Why are you out here all alone Lux?" I question her.

She looks at me nervously then speaks "W-Well I'm here on a da-I mean I'm with a friend of mine" Lux says then nervously laughs.

I raised a brow at her response before smirking "Oh Garen's going to have a field day with this.

Lux begins to pout "Please don't tell him!, you know how over protective he is over me!, also we aren't official yet..." She says. I only start to laugh, knowing how right she is about Garen "And why did you say that you're my brother?"

"I mean, if anything I'm the closest you got to a second brother, seriously, I've known you since you were in grade school" I tell her.

"Lux!!" I hear a male voice shout.

We then see a boy with blond hair come running around the corner before stopping when he sees us. He then looks down at the two bodies on the ground then looking back at me.

"Lux...who's that guy?" The boy says and I smirk and answer before she can.

"Her brother" I say and the boy's body goes stiff, like if he just met his worst fear.

"Stop it (Y/n)" Lux says as she elbows me then looks at the boy "He isn't my bother, he's my brothers best friend, I've known him since I was elementary school"

The boy relaxed slightly then held his hand out "oh umm, My name's Ezrel" he says.

"(Y/n)" I say as I shake his hand, making sure to add a little pressure to his hand knowing Garen would do the same.

I let go of his hand and he looked nervous on what to say "Uh, what happened?" Ezrel asked.

"When you went to the bathroom some guys tried to get me to go with them. Thankfully (Y/n) was near by" Lux explained to Ezrel.

Ezrel looked down "Sorry..." His says.

I put a hand on his shoulder and he looks up at me "Don't beat yourself up over it too much kid, next time, just remember that she's here too ya hear?" I say and he nods.

"Understood" He says.

I smile before starting to walk away "Enjoy the rest of your day kiddos" I say while waving.

I make my way back to the store where the girls were and when I get inside I see Evelynn with two bags in hand and Ahri had one. Akali and Kai'sa didn't have any.

"Where did you go off to (Y/n)? You would of liked the other outfits I picked" Evelynn says.

"Sorry, saw something happen and had to take care of it" I tell them.

"It's alright" Ahri says with a smile "As long as everything is good there's nothing to worry about"

"Where to next then?" I ask.

"Let's go the ramen shop! I'm starving and that place is my favorite!" Akali explains excitedly.

"To the ramen shop it is then" I say.

"Not gonna lie, I expected this day to go differently, a lot more awkward. I think I could get used to being around these girls" I thought as if hanging out with them would become a normal occurrence.
