Chapter 14

POV: You

Part 1.

"Hey (Y/n), look who I found at the door about to call you" I hear Jinx shout excitedly.

"Who could she of found?"

I turn to see Jinx with a wide smile, standing next to her was Seraphine, who had a slight blush in her face ass she stood nervously at Jinx's side. She wouldn't look my way.

"Seraphine? What are you doing here" I ask while standing up from my seat. I was genuinely curious.

"W-well, I wanted to see if you wanted to hang out tonight but I was too nervous to ask you so I came here first instead....maybe if I came here, I could force my self to call you" Seraphine says to me.

I then smile a bit "Well, then let's hang out then. Since your here I get to introduce you to my friends" I say to her then looked at Jinx "Can you get her one of those hard lemonades from last time. And put it on my tab"

"Will do" Jinx says before walking off.

"Is this the girl Jinx mentioned you bringing in? Kinda young don't you think?" Rakan says, waving his drink around a bit in his hand.

"Are you all going to say that?" I question then looked at Seraphine "Anyway, Seraphine, these are some of my best friends from high school, we got the village idiot Rakan, and his girlfriend Xayah"

"Village idiot? I don't deserve that name" Rakan says while getting up from his seat.

"We literally punched each other in the faces before you declared us friends" I tell him.

"Fair point" He atates while sitting back down.

I then motion to Garen "And this big guy is Garen"

"H-Hi" Seraphine says to the three.

Xayah then points at Seraphine "I designate you my new drinking partner"

"I don't think that's a good  idea. She had her first drink almost two weeks ago" I state.

"Bummer" Xayah exclaims with a sigh.

"Here, take a seat Seraphine" I say and pulled the seat out for her that was next to me.

"T-thank you" She says before taking a seat. Jinx then swings by and places down a strawberry hard lemonade for Seraphine.

I proceed to take my seat, I look over at Seraphine and her hands are in her lap, she was silent, staring down at the hard lemonade but not touching it.

"Seraphine" Garen says, immediately getting Seraphine's attention.

"Yes" Seraphine says, springing her head up, body tense.

"What high school did you graduate from?" Garen asks. His voice is intense no matter how he wants to present himself whether he's calm or not. It scared Seraphine.

"R-r-riot h-high s-school" Seraphine stuttered.

"That's where we went to school. Garen and (Y/n)'s little sisters just graduated from there as well" Rakan says.

"Y-you have a little sister?" Seraphine asks me.

"Yeah, her name's Ashe, I have an older sister as well, she's the current sheriff of Piltover" I say and Seraphine's eyes widened a bit.

"W-what was you last name again?" She asks.

"(L/n), why do you ask?" I say.

"No one really talked to Ashe, not that she minded it, most would avoid her because of the reputation her brother earned in the school" Seraphine says then looks up at me "If Ashe is your sister, that means...."

"Yup, this badass mother fucker is the one that earned said reputation" Rakan says motioning to me.

Seraphine gulped as she looked at me "D-did you really fight that much?"

"I didn't really have a choice in the matter. Back then, when people heard I was a powerless, their first instinct was to pick a fight with me" I tell her then took a sip of my rum and cola "It was either me or a couple of pricks being beat to the ground and I'd rather it not be me"

Seraphine takes ahold of her hard lemonade then takes a long sip of it, finally relaxing a bit "I'm sorry you had to go through that"

"It's alright, it helped my sister out in the long run so it's no problem. I'm sure if people heard Ashe had a powerless brother people would of picked on her, but with my reputation she was left alone. I protected her and that's what matters" I state to her.

"I talked to her a few times, I brought up your reputation and she just smiled and said "That's my brother, and I'm thankful that I have him"" Seraphine says which makes me smile.

"She always looked up to me in a way" I say then took another sip.

"Seraphine" We hear a familiar voice say in surprise "What are you doing here?"

We all turn to look and Seraphine immediately froze up when she saw who it was. Said person we looked at was Lux and beside her was Ezrel. I'm guessing Lux was going to tell Garen about Ezrel tonight.

"I-I-I'm h-h-hanging o-out w-with t-that g-guy I t-told y-you a-about" Seraphine stuttered towards Lux.

Lux looked around the table before her eyes landed on me and a small little grin formed on her face "oh~, I didn't expect that said guy would be (Y/n)~"

Seraphine slowly turned to me, she was nervous and embarrassed "You know Lux?"

"Yeah, she's Garen's little sister" I state a little confused "Is Lux your friend?"

"My best friend" Seraphine states.

The tension is then broken by Garen who starts to laugh to all hell "Now this is some comedy" He says then stands up before his face become serious as he looked at Ezrel, who tense up at Garen's gaze "Who's the boy Lux?"

"Garen, this is my boyfriend Ezrel, Ezrel, this is my big brother Garen" Lux says while motioning between them.

Ezrel was frozen like a statute, like if he was staring at Satan himself "H-H-Hi" Ezrel stuttered while slowly extending his hand out to Garen.

We all watched nervously as Garen eyed Ezrel up and down. Rakan, Xayah, and I didn't see this going well with how Garen is with Lux when it comes to boys. Garen then smiles then takes Ezrel's hand and shakes it, gripping it with a tight grip.

"Nice to meet you Ezrel. I would go on the tangent of if you hurt my little sister I'll break every bone in your body but I won't" Garen says in a happy tone which made Ezrel sweat a little "However, there's one thing we have to do before I let you officially date my sister"

"A-and what would that be?" Ezrel questions with some worry in his voice.

Garen releases Ezrel's hand before starting to laugh a bit "Here at the Atomic, we have a small ritual whether some one is worthy to be in a relationship with someone we care about" He says to Ezrel then shouts, letting his voice boom "Hey Jinx!! Get us four Atomic Runeterra's!!"

We look over at Jinx who had a ear to ear grin "Coming right up!"

As we waited for Jinx, Garen grabs two chairs from an empty table and puts them between Seraphine and himself. Lux sits down next to Seraphine which forces Ezrel to sit next to Garen.

"Oh this is gonna be good" Rakan says before Xayah elbows him.

"Quiet you"

"So Ezrel, how did you meet my sister?" Garen questioned.

"We met freshmen year, we had the same math class" Ezrel states as he sat there like a shriveled up raisin. He was scared and nervous.

"Is this true?" Garen says while looking at Lux.

"Yes, and can you not interrogate him" Lux says with an annoyed voice which you could tell hit a small nerve in Garen.

"I see" Garen says "It won't matter much anyway. The drinks will reveal your true self"

After Garen finishes, Right on time, Jinx comes to the table with four shot glasses with a baby blue colored transparent drink. She sets one in front of Garen, two in front of Ezrel, and the last one in front of Lux.

"I don't understand what's going on?" Seraphine asks me.

"It's a thing we do here. Those drinks, The Atomic Runeterra's are very special drink Jinx makes herself. The shots represents the troubles one would go through in a relationship. If you can beat the drink then to us it means you're strong enough to deal with those troubles" I explain to her in a simple way "The new couple takes a shot together for the troubles they could have with one another, then also takes a shot with each sibling of their partner. Showing that they are willing to deal with the pressure of their family, in essence accepting them"

"Woah..." she says in response "S-so, if you were to get into a new relationship...your partner would have to take three shots"

"Yeah, one for me then one for each of my sisters" I say with a small smile.

"Alright kid, first, turn to Lux, then you each of you look at each other in the eyes and take a shot" Rakan says to Ezrel.

Ezrel does as Rakan says and turns to Lux. He takes a hold of one of the shots and so does Lux, Ezrel's hand trembling a little "I love you Lux" he states and Lux smiles.

"I love you too Ezrel" Lux replies.

The two of them then knock their shots back. Lux snorted a little as she placed the shot glass down, coughing a bit. Ezrel however, tried to prove himself. He slammed the shot glass down, gripping it tightly as he tried to control his breaths.

"Ho-ly Shit" Ezrel exclaims as his nostrils flared with every breath.

"You handled that quite well Ezrel" I state.

"I like this kid" Rakan adds.

"It's our turn" Garen says, his voice deep, trying to intimidate Ezrel.

Ezrel however wasn't intimidated in the slightest by Garen, he turned to Garen and took hold of the other Atomic Runeterra. Ezrel stared down Garen then spoke up.

"Garen, I am deeply in love with Lux and I'd never hurt her in anyway. I'll protect her with my life for the rest of my life" Ezrel tells Garen with a stoic voice, Lux blushed at his small speech, he then knocks back the shot.

As Ezrel controlled himself from the drink, Garen casually knocks back his shot and slammed his empty glass on the table. Garen looked at then smirked and stood up.

"Welcome to the family kid" Garen says then bear hugs Ezrel.

The rest of the table started to cheer for them, including Seraphine and Lux who were clapping "Hey Seraphine, maybe this will be you and (Y/n) some day~" Lux teased Seraphine.

"I-It's not like that, we're only friends" Seraphine says while blushing a bit.

"I know (Y/n), I promise that some day you're going to eat those words~" Lux tells Seraphine, still teasing her.

"What ever you say" Seraphine's states while crossing her arms and looking away from Lux.

Part 2.

It's about 3:30 in the morning, I didn't drink too much and drove Seraphine home. I just got back to the penthouse and walked inside the door. Most of the lights we off and the place was mainly silent. The girls probably went to bed already. I slip my shoes off then quietly made my way up the stairs and over to my room. As I open door, I'm met with a bright light and some shouting.

"Yeah die mother fucker. Say hello to my chainsaw bitch" I here as I open the door. I look and see Akali still sitting at my PC playing doom.

I walked up to Akali then as she was too focused on the game. I reach for the head set and pulled it off her ears "What the-" She says then turning and swing me "Oh hey (Y/n)"

"Do you realize what time it is?" I question her.

"Uhhhh, Chain saw time?" She states.

"It's 3:30 in the morning" I tell her.

"Really?" She questions and I face palmed.

"Yes, you should go to bed" I tell her.

"But I'm having fun, and you said I could stay on as long as I liked" Akali says while crossing her arms.

"Yeah, well I wasn't expecting you to be up at 3:30 in the morning" I tell her "You can play more in tomorrow, well during the day, you know what I mean"

Akali pouts a bit before standing up from my chair "Thanks for letting me play"

"No problem" I say "Good night"

"Yeah, Good night" Akali replies before walking out my door.

I sigh before stripping myself down to my boxers, not feeling like putting on pajamas or anything I slip into bed, thinking of taking a shower in the morning as I just wanted to go to bed.

"I had some fun tonight, though I feel kinda bad kicking Akali off the game like that...fuck"
