I love you Khushiji. Only you & not that limping pest whom I forcefully need to call Rani Saheba when in real, you are my Rani Saheba, the queen of my heart Shyam confessed unabashedly, smiling cunningly, caging Khushi in his strong arms, in his steel grip.
Khushi was too shocked to react. Let alone try to come out of his strong grip.
Seeing her neither refuting his confession nor pushing him from herself, Shyam's audacity increased to another level but the man watching this entire scene standing at the entrance door of the terrace rooted to the spot, shocked to the core, too numb to react & his heart was dropping in the pit of his stomach making him feel like puking due to the unbelievably despicable scene getting place infront of his own eyes by the two important people of his life.
One was his jijaji whom he looked upto as an elder brother & guardian at times.
The other was the girl who had made a special place in his heart by making him feel the emotions he didn't even know existed in this world which he was now feeling strongly for her & was here to confess the same.
Arnav Singh Raizada was done running from his feelings towards this chit of a girl & had decided to lay his heart open to her tonight.
His dii's accident a while before, escaping almost death had dawned the truth of life upon him that life is too short to hold regrets.
Regrets for not doing what your heart willed to.
Regrets for letting your mind overpower your heart.
Regrets to push the one away from you, for whom your heart is desperately yearning.
Life rarely gives a second chance & Arnav Singh Raizada has learnt it the hard way.
So now he was here to confess his feelings to the girl who had landed in his arms like a bundle of sparkling sticks of Diwali crackers & had brighten his life filling it with all the bright colours he was averse to, except all the dull colours like black, grey & white.
He had tried. Tried hard, harder, hardest to push her away from himself as she was invoking emotions in him which he didn't want to feel.
He had taunted her, defamed her, blamed her, insulted her, humiliated her, hurt her emotionally & physically, called her names, did all the cruel things he could, to stop her from breaking the walls around him he had built since long to save himself from the rubbishes called love, commitment, relationship & marriage because his past experiences had made him beleive that all these were just for namesake & were bound to die even before they could breathe as no two people can stay together loving, caring, trusting each other for their entire life as loyalty in love & marriage was just a myth which turns into betrayel sooner or later giving you painful scars for a lifetime which can never be healed & you decide to end your life to get rid of that pain.
He definitely didn't want to fall in that category of the people ending their lives for those rubbishes & so he did all that he could to save himself. But he was unsuccessful & she had successfully pulverized those concrete walls around him making way for herself straight in his heart which he till then thought was just a bloody pumping organ to keep you living your life.
But now that same girl is hugging some other man's heart, crushing his heart into millions of pieces that he won't be able to recollect all his life.
But if this is true then what was that he had seen in her eyes, felt in her expressions, in her reactions to his romantic advances during Akash & Payal's pre-wedding rituals or may be much before then that.
The way her eyes had shone in anticipation & excitement this morning when he had told her that he wants to talk to her. Her reaction indicated that she knew what he was going to tell her & he had felt that she was equally eager to hear his confession.
Was that all true or this happening right now infront of his eyes is true!!
Not able to bear it, he closed his eyes tight, praying his mumma up there to turn all these into a nightmare. Just like he had been seeing the nightmares since his parents death & then they would just vanish as soon as he would wake up terrified.
So expecting the same thing to happen now also, he prayed his mumma that when he would open his eyes, both Khushi & his jijaji would have vanished turning everything into a figment of his horrible imagination & all would be good like before.
He would go & propose Khushi, marry her & live a peaceful life with her & his dii would be happy with her husband welcoming their child.
His conscious mind knows whatever he is thinking & wishing is just foolish because he could still hear both of their voices but still a man can hope. Right?? So he had closed his eyes hopefully, to get even his last hope crushed by Khushi's next words.
Then why don't you leave Anjaliji??
& he had felt the same pain he had felt when he had seen his mother dying due to her husband's betrayel, her dead-body soaked in her own blood.
Today he was witnessing his love dying the same painful death of betrayel infront of his own eyes but the blood wasn't visible as he was bleeding from within.
Gathering some courage he opened his eyes to see Khushi now standing out of Shyam's embrace, staring furiously at Shyam with red, angry eyes.
May be she was unable to bear Shyam & dii together anymore & wants him to leave his wife at the earliest & is conveying the same through her anger. He assesed painfully.
Now it was unbearable for him to see them together & making plans to be together so with heavy heart & heavy feet he turned around to leave the scene to get halted with Khushi's next words & he turned back to his original position facing both of them.
I will tell you why can't you leave Anjaliji?? She started confidently.
Because leaving Anjaliji means leaving all the wealth, all the luxuries, the power & high status you got in the society by marrying Anjali Raizada - the one & only sister of the billionaire business tycoon Arnav Singh Raizada. She said folding her hands, looking coldly at Shyam, challenging him to refute her allegations.
Shyam stared at her with blank eyes & then there was an evil smirk on his face which turned into a full fledged evil laughter, scaring Khushi & confusing Arnav.
Khushiji you are so smart. Shyam said after his evil laugh & that is what I like about you apart from your enchanting beauty. He said trying to touch her cheeks but Khushi moved two steps back immediately making his hand fall & he clenched his fist tight but the man standing at the door had clenched his fist tighter then his.
Yes Khushiji. You are absolutely right. I was with Anjali Jha nee Raizada only for her wealth & luxuries. Not because I loved her. She was just a consolation price for me I got to enjoy during my lonely nights, alongwith all her wealth. He said unbashedly making Khushi cringe her face with loath for this disgusting man.
Arnav's body was heating up with rage hearing Shyam's repulsing talks about his dii.
But that was just timepass for me & not love because love was what I felt for you when I saw you for the first time in Lucknow & Shyam Manohar Jha was lost in the flawless beauty of Khushi Kumari Gupta. He said moving a step forward making Khushi take two steps backward.
Stop right there Shyamji. I have heard enough of your nonsense but not anymore. She said pointing her finger at him in warning.
Arnav was confused with the sudden 360 degree change in Khushi towards Shyam. He wasn't able to understand why she was stopping Shyam when she was with him in this.
Khushiji, why are you getting angry?? I know all these sudden revelations are too much for you to absorb but don't worry I will make everything all right. Replied Shyam trying to hold Khushi.
I. Said. Stop. Right. There. Khushi yelled raising her hands straight infront of him, stopping him. You have done enough Shyamji & now its me who will do what I should have done way before.
& what is that Khushiji?? Shyam asked raising his eyebrows.
I will go & expose you rightaway infront of Anjaliji & others. She said determined.
That means Khushi is not with Shyam. She didn't betray me. Arnav let out a huge sigh of relief with a few happy tears rolling down his eyes involuntarily but he didn't attempt to wipe them. He felt as if he was pulled back from a cliff, he was hanging to, on the verge of falling.
& you think they will beleive you. Shyam asked audaciously.
May be or may be not. But atleast I will be out of this guilt of not revealing your true face to them the moment I knew it on the day of havan when I met you as Anjaliji's husband for the first time because till then you were Shyamji for me. The paying guest of our house who then became my fiance by getting engaged to me. I should have told everybody your disgusting truth. But I was too shocked myself after knowing your true face.
Arnav gulped hard as he remembered Khushi colliding with him that day. She was crying, all broken, reason which was unknown to him that day but he understood it now that it was due to Shyam's duplicity.
But I had come next day to tell Anjaliji everything because she deserved to know that the husband she loves to death is no less then a two timing bigamous toad. But again to my ill fate I couldn't tell her. Her mangalsutra had broken & she had gone all hysterical, on the verge of falling unconscious due to the fear of something happening to her husband. Poor Anjaliji, only if she knew that the man she worships as God is no less then a monster. Khushi said shaking her head in pity for Anjali & disgust for Shyam.
I got scared. Just the breaking of her mangalsutra had reduced her to this then what would happen when she would know about your true face. She would probably die & I can't let anything happen to such good hearted, loving woman for an undeserving, vile man like you. So I thought staying quiet would be the right decision, for Anjaliji atleast. Also there was a pressure from my family on me to stay mum for my jiji's sake as the truth would jeopardize my jiji's marriage with Akashji as you had threatened us to break their alliance if we tried to tell anything to the Raizadas. My jiji's first marriage was already broken due to my foolishness. I couldn't repeat the same. So somewhere alongwith Anjaliji's happiness, my jiji's happiness too was at stake. So I became selfish & decided to keep your truth under the wraps. I also had a hope that my & my family's hatred towards you would make you understand the true value of Anjaliji & her unbound love for you. But no, you didn't change your ways. Infact you tried to show Anjaliji wrong in my eyes. Tried to show yourself as a victim & Anjaliji as guilty who was trying to rule over you, supressing your identity under her brother's wealth. But your sympathy card didn't work on me infront of Anjaliji's pure, unadulterated love for you. So you tried the other way, you are expert at. That is forcing me to accept your love, threatening me to keep my mouth shut, manhandling me to adhere to your obnoxious wishes. You kept on trying at every opportunity you got. You didn't back out even during jiji & Akash jijaji's pre wedding rituals. On their Sangeet night too you tried to force yourself on me. If not for Arnavji's sudden entry, I don't know what you would have done that day. She said raising her arms he had held in tight grip on the sangeet night while threatening her. Showing him the faint marks of his fingers which were still lightly visible.
Arnav's eyes widened in horror hearing to all that Khushi said. So much happened with Khushi, in his house, under his nose & he couldn't get an inkling of it. He remembered the sangeet night when he had gone behind her after one of her performances, to mock her of using his name, his actions & mannerisms in her dance to win. But then he had seen her crying & as usual her tears had pricked his heart. He had thought that she had cried due to his poking words but now he understood the real reason behind her tears that day.
He clenched his jaws & fists tight. Too angry to feel the piercing pain of his nails in his palms. Angry on himself for being so blindly negligent towards all the happenings.
But better late then never. So now I am not going to stay quiet. I will rightaway go & tell Anjaliji & everybody else about your duplicity. She turned around to leave but was stopped by Shyam's confusing words.
But for that you need to find your dear Anjaliji first Khushiji.
Khushi frowned not understanding his words.
What do you mean?? She asked.
What I mean Khushiji is, that this time too you won't be able to tell her anything. He said confusing her more & her frown deepened.
See Khushiji. When first time you had wanted to tell your Anjaliji my truth, she was not in the condition to hear it & now when you are again determined to tell her then she is not even in this world to hear it. He said plainly, shrugging his shoulders.
Khushi's eyes widened in shock & so did Arnav's.
What... What do you mean?? She could barely whisper, scared of the answer.
The evil smirk was back on Shyam's face increasing Khushi's fear.
I mean Khushiji, that your dear Anjaliji has bid adieu to this world for forever. He replied making Khushi's heart beat erratically, fearfully.
No. This can't happen. You are lying. I have seen her just a few hours back. She was fit & fine & she is fine now as well. Nothing can happen to her. You are lying. You are bloody lying. She screamed at his face making him go mad in anger.
I am not lying because I myself have killed her by failing the breaks of her car in which she was about to go to the temple & by now her car must have met with a terrible accident & she must have reached to her ultimate destination to stay with her parents & her dear devi maiyya. He too screamed back holding Khushi's shoulders, shaking her with a mad glint in his eyes.
Khushi gasped loudly, shocked out of skull hearing his crime & so was Arnav.
Arnavji. She could barely whisper, inaudible to Shyam but Arnav's heart as always heard it & felt it that she was worried for him that how he would cope up with his dii's death.
This girl who was herself caught in such a catastrophe is worried for him instead of herself. His eyes got moist & heart filled with guilt for doubting such a genuine, selfless soul.
Arnav decided to go to her & tell her that his dii is fine when he heard a sound of a slap resonating in air.
He saw Khushi pushing Shyam hard on his chest making him stagger back with his hand on his burning cheek.
How dare you scoundrel?? How dare you even think of harming that innocent woman who loved you with all her heart, mind & soul?? How dare you?? She was pushing him hard with every word she spoke. Tears making way remembering Anjali.
Yes I dared to kill her because she was the only thorn in my path towards happiness that is Arnav's property & you Khushiji. He spatted loudly holding her wrists in his tight grip.
Khushi struggled to free herself from him.
Not only this I can do much more to get what I desire. Infact I have already done much more to get you in my life Khushiji. He said stopping Khushi's struggles & stopping Arnav in his tracks who was coming to save Khushi from this despicable man.
He needs to hear all of Shyam's sins from his mouth itself & for that he has to stay hidden for some more time.
What else have you done Shyam Manohar Jha?? Khushi asked freeing her hands from his grip with a strong jerk.
I will tell you everything today Khushiji. Still there's much time for Akash & Payal's marriage rituals to start. So I will use this time to open my heart to you by disclosing all my efforts & deeds to get you. May be that would make you understand the depth of my love for you. He said making Khushi cringe in her skin with his repeated, sickening confession.
Khushiji, do you remember our first meet in Lucknow where I had saved you from getting molested by some hooligans in the market place?? He asked but didn't wait for Khushi's answer & continued.
Those hooligans were sent by me only Khushiji. Khushi's eyes went wide & he blinked at her confirming his words.
You know Khushiji, I was completely smitten by you the moment I had seen you in the clipping of you falling in my saalesaab's arms. I had felt that It should be me in place of my saalesaab & then & there I had decided that I will get you in my life by hook or crook He let out a shamelessly proud chuckle.
So I had set my wheels into motion by sending those hooligans to molest you & then I had reached on cue as your saviour & proved myself as a gentleman infront of your family in our first meeting itself. Then through my sources I came to know that due to that clipping fiasco you were compelled to leave the city with your jiji & you were planning to settle in Delhi at your buaji's place. That made my work more easier as you were going to come to my city only & I would get enough time & opportunities to make you fall for me & pursue your family for our marriage.
Arnav was controlling himself very hard to not to go & beat Shyam black & blue till he asks for mercy.
Then I followed you to Delhi & crashed into you several times showing it as a co-incidence which was actually pre-planned by me. Then I successfully managed to make place in your buaji's heart & then her house as a paying guest by telling her about our Lucknow connection, myself being an orphan & in the need of a shelter. I knew your buaji was in need of money. Also she was already enthralled by my fake goodness & I used that in my favour & became your paying guest. Now after entering in your house I needed to enter in your heart. So when you were looking for a job I helped you with my reference letter in my saalesaab's office, adding to the obligations I was doing on you & your family. But I had my own selfish reasons behind sending you in his office for job. He said making Khushi & Arnav's ears perked up & mind thinking of various possible reasons.
The first was that if you joined some other company then there were high chances of you falling for any of your male collegue or even the boss himself as the beauty you posses is capable of making any man go mad for you. But if you join AR, the chances were nil for any such thing to happen because Arnav Singh Raizada keeps his staff on toes for whole working hours, that they don't even have time to breathe let alone romance. So you getting involved with any of your male staff was out of question. Coming to you falling for your boss or vice versa was next to impossible because I knew how much Arnav hated you & he would never leave a single chance to insult you, demean you making you emotionally weak & I would use those chances in my advantage by lending you emotional support & enter your heart. Everything did happen as per my plans. He started torchuring you & you definitely were getting emotionally affected but I also observed an invisible bond getting formed between you both which was a danger sign for me & I decided to somehow make you agree to leave his job. But before I could do anything you yourself resigned & I was the happiest man on this earth that day Khushiji. He said smiling one of his vicious smiles.
But then my happiness didn't last for long as my dumb wife, oh sorry he stopped saying & touched his earlobe as if to apologise then continued my dumb late wife got you in Shantivan as Lavanya's trainee. What was the need to do that?? Huh!! He asked raising his hand in question.
If her Chhote & Lavanya were ok with live-in relationship then what was the problem with that limping woman & her oldie nani. Their decision of getting Lavanya trained by you to become an ideal bahu, put me into so much of danger of getting caught by you in Shantivan. Only I know how many times I have saved myself from getting caught. I tried my best to explain Anjali & you as well to back out from this arrangement but the stubborn women you both were... He said shaking his head exasperatedly.
I was going mad saving myself from you in Shantivan & on the other end your babuji had started getting doubts on me. He said gritting his teeth.
Khushi & Arnav's heart beat accelerated with anxiety hearing her bauji's name from Shyam's mouth. They could clearly assume that they are about to face more scaring revelations.
He somehow got some proofs that were very much against my identity which I was presenting infront of you all Guptas & the residents of Laxminagar. He started checking my mobile, keeping tabs on my activities, tabs on my each & every step taken in & out of the house. I tried to control the situation with some more lies but finally one day he got to know my truth when he followed me to the temple I had went to meet Anjali. There he saw us performing pooja together & understood that we were husband & wife.
Arnav & Khushi remembered the time when Shashi had behaved weirdly after seeing Anjali for the first time in his house. He had almost gone hysterical. They hadn't understand the reason then but they understood it now.
Your babuji then confronted me face to face. Luckily that time there was nobody at home other then the two of us. I was also fed up of your babuji's constant inquiry & stubborness. So I accepted everything infront of him & also revealed my real intentions. He was shocked to his wits & he decided to disclose everything to rest of the family & I decided to end his life & my tension once & for all. He stated proudly without remorse.
Khushi & Arnav both were stunned.
Khushi felt her heart coming to her mouth in fright as she understood that Shyam is responsible for her babiji's condition.
What did you do with my babuji?? Khushi asked panicked.
Relax Khushiji. Why are you getting hyper?? I am going to tell you everything I did till now to get you?? Just have patience my love?? He said exhibiting his shamelessness some more & making Khushi feel awful with the endearment he used for her.
Your babuji went hysterical by the end of our confrontation & to worsen his condition I refrained him from taking his medicine. He would have definitely died if not for your jiji, buaji & amma's untimely entry that distrupted my plan & then unwillingly I myself with them had to take your babuji at the hospital. But I didn't accept defeat. I tried to kill him in the hospital by stopping his oxygen supply but I failed again. But your devimaiyya was definitely on my side & I got the good news from the doctor that your babuji suffered a stroke & got paralysed. Now when he was incapable to speak or do any kind of movements my problem was sorted & nor I needed to kill your babuji. He confessed without an ounce of remorse or regret in his loathsome eyes.
Tears streamed down Khushi's eyes knowing of her father's sufferings by this unscrupulous person's hands.
Arnav's eyes weren't dry either.
Don't cry Khushiji. I had dropped the idea of killing your babuji. He said coming forward, trying to wipe her tears. But she swatted his hand away furiously.
What did you do then?? She asked, wanting to know all of his evilness.
I was tensionfree from your father's side but the sword of getting caught by you in RM was still hanging on my neck. Also I could see my saalesaab & you getting closer which was neither expected nor accepted by me. I was not ready to lose you at any cost after doing so much to get you. So I started tricking your amma & buaji into beleiving that your babuji wants you to get married to me. Your buaji was already thinking on the same lines due to your babuji's unclear actions towards me & then to get buaji completely on my side I wrote your & my name together on one of the compound walls of your house & my trick worked. Scared of getting humiliated in Laxminagar just like lucknow, your buaji forced you to accept my alliance by swearing you on your babuji. You accepted unwillingly, but I cared less & we got engaged on the night of Diwali. I was so happy that night Khushiji that finally my dream of making you mine was about to get fulfilled. He said with coveted smile & lust filled eyes.
Khushi felt like spitting on this lousy creature's face but she stayed composed to hear all of his crimes.
Arnav remembered the night of Diwali when he had almost kissed Khushi & then breaking her heart had announced his engagement with Lavanya. Going two steps ahead he had corroded her already broken heart with his vile, disgusting words at her own door steps which were one of the reasons of her getting engaged to Shyam.
He was feeling repugnant towards himself.
But my happiness didn't last for long Khushiji as we finally came face to face in Shantivan on the day of puja held by Anjali. You threw the ring on my face & broke the engagement & went away crying from there. Continued Shyam.
Arnav remembered Khushi's broken form when she had cried holding his arm that day.
I tried to do the damage control but you & your family were so stubborn on your decision to expose me. So I had to threaten you all with Payal's alliance. Then I saw you & Arnav coming closer day by day. All your actions & reactions to each other were unnoticed by others but not from me. I was getting annoyed & frustrated by your distance from me & closeness with Arnav. So I decided to play my sympathy card by making Anjali villain in your eyes but it failed as you already said before. So I had only one option left that was to clear Anjali from my way, leading to you & I started working on that option. He said maliciously.
Furious Arnav & scared Khushi were waiting with thudding heart & bated breath to know What all he did to kill Anjali.
First time I tried to kill her on the day of havan kept for Akash & Payal. I exchanged her perfume with ether & she unknowingly did spread it on her saree. As she & I were about to sit in the havan I had planned to make her sit too close to the havan fire so that the ether in her saree catches fire & she dies burning. But to my bad luck she decided to make Akash & Payal sit in the havan failing my plan. He grit his teeth & flaired his nostrils in fury for Anjali failing his plan.
Khushi remembered the havan day. So much had happened that day. She had also got to see a different, soft, gentle & caring side of Arnav.
Arnav remembered how he had felt the fear of losing Khushi that day. But he didn't knew that if not Khushi then he would have definitely lost his dii that day due to this heartless husband of hers.
Then my second attempt to kill her was on New Year's night. I had arranged a candle light dinner for both of us at the poolside which was decorated with fairy lights. But I had left a naked, live wire in the pool water. I just had to push Anjali in the pool & she would have got electrocuted & died. I had almost succeded. Anjali had lost her balance & was about to fall in the water but mamaji had saved her in nick of time, failing my second attempt as well. He said sardonically with rage filled eyes towards Anjali for failing her second attempt as well.
Arnav & Khushi together remembered that New Year's night when unwillingly they had come face to face at the stroke of twelve but were happy inwardly to see each other first. But they didn't knew that Anjali was about to face such horrible accident planned by her pathetic husband.
They both heartily thanked mamaji for saving Anjali on time.
Then third time I tried to kill Anjali on Akash & Payal's sangeet night. I had got a very poisonous scorpion which would bite her & she would be poisoned to death. So later that night when Anjali was asleep I put the scorpion in her bed. But to my badluck, instead of Anjali it crawled upon my back. Hearing my screams Anjali had woken up & had jerked off the scorpion from my back. What an irony Khushiji, she saved that husband of hers who was hell bent on killing her. He said with his signature evil smirk on his face for foolish Anjali who saved the life of her own murderer.
Khushi was burning with anger for this two faced animal who was more poisonous then a scorpion. The scorpion itself would have been dead that night if it had bit this swine thought Khushi.
Arnav remembered that night. He was scared to hell for his dii & had banned her from moving out of his sight even for a minute.
But today my fourth attempt of getting rid of Anjali finally succeeded. She sat in the break failed car & instead of reaching devi maiyya's temple she straightaway reached to devimaiyya herself. His anger & over confidence made him reveal all his wicked iniquities.
Khushi felt like scratching this cheap, unfaithful, heartless, money-hungry monster's ugly face with her sharp nails & bleed him to death.
Daggers pierced at Arnav's heart thinking that what would have happen if this scoundrels today's plan would have really succeeded. He would have lost his dii forever. He shuddered with the intensity of the possible scenario of his thoughts.
Now there is nobody in between us Khushiji. Nobody to stop us from getting together, getting one for forever. You are now completely mine Khushiji. Now when the only hurdle between you & me is out of our lives I won't wait any longer from making you mine. He stated confidently with undisguised lust dripping from his words.
Khushi stared him with utter disgust & horror.
It was so easy to trap Anjali in my wicked plans. I gathered all the information about her. With one broken marriage she was already yearning for a man's love so I became her man by saving her from falling from the temple steps & slowly with my sweet talks & fake gestures made her fall head over heels for me. Her billionaire brother who was ready to go to any length to make her happy readily agreed for our marriage for his beloved dii's happiness without doing a proper background check on me & thus I became the laadla damadji of the Raizadas who effortlessly made a permanent entry in their lives, house, property & wealth by marrying their dear Anjali bitiya.
Shocked, stunned, aghast Arnav stood slack-jawed in rage towards himself after hearing about his own foolishness of nurturing this poisonous snake in his house with whom he had happily married his dii without any proper inquiry or back ground check of his.
How easily he believed this snake without any doubts & how easily he doubted Khushi when she never gave him any reason to doubt on her.
He was feeling lower in his own eyes.
Trapping Anjali was an easy task. But you are a very tough nut to crack Khushiji. I loved you with all my heart. I tried my best but you didn't even acknowledge my love let alone reciprocate it. Instead you fell for that rude, arrogant, egoistic Arnav Singh Raizada. Why Khushiji?? Why?? What is there in him that I don't have?? I love you mpre then him. I never made you cry like him. I always tried to lessen your problems unlike him but still you couldn't accept me over him. Why Khushiji?? Just why?? He shouted like a maniac who was on the verge of losing his mind completely if doesn't get what he desires.
But now I am fed up of being relegated in your life. If I can't get you simply then I will forcibly make you mine today. Right here, right now. The criminal mind in him was coming to the fore.
Khushi looked at him with fraught eyes. Scared of what was he going to do. Whatever he intends but she won't let him succeed. Never ever.
I won't let you succeed Shyam Manohar Jha. I will go & tell Arnavji everything. I am sure he will trust me. He won't spare you. You snatched his dii from him who was his lifeline. He will snatch away your life mercilessly, unrelentingly. She stated her confidence & trust on Arnav, fuelling Shyam's rage & making Arnav's heart swell with pride for the faith & certitude she has in him even though he never gave her a reason to do so.
His guilt doubled in magnitude & so did his determination for not letting Khushi's trust in him down ever again.
But you will go only if I let you Khushiji. He said loftily.
You won't dare to stop me. Khushi replied taking several steps back. She tried to maintain her confident composure even though she was scared with the sycophant look on this leecher's face.
I will Khushiji. I will. He said taking steps towards her. As I said before, I will make you mine right here, right now in a way that even Arnav will refuse to beleive you, accepting you would be out of question & before Khushi could understand anything he pounced on her but suddenly Khushi was pulled aside through her hand & was crashed to a hard, strong chest whereas Shyam crashed with the grills behind Khushi. The grills were low in height due to which Shyam lost his balance & fell off the terrace.
With the familiar woody scent & the feeling of being safe, secured, Khushi could easily recognize that she was in her Arnavji's arms even without looking at him.
She was pulled more in the protective confines of his arms making her tighten her grip around him.
Both were savouring the feel of being together in each others embrace with Arnav dropping kisses on Khushi's head, relieved to save her on time.
Caressing each other to their hearts content they both pulled back & were lost in each other's eyes.
Khushi's eyes were filled with love, trust & pain for Arnav. Whereas along with love & admiration for Khushi, Arnav's eyes were filled with remorse, guilt & shame as well.
Before they could say anything their intense eyelock was broken by loud screams.
Khushiji, Khushiji please save me Khushiji.
Arnav & Khushi jumped on their places hearing Shyam's screamings.
They looked towards the direction of voice & then ran towards it to see Shyam hanging holding the lowest grill.
Arnav & Khushi looked shocked at Shyam then at each other & then back at Shyam.
