Barry's POV:

I never imagined this. Batman always warned me to never let my guard down, but with Cisco and Caitlin alongside me. I never had to worry about those things. Then came the next transition, Zoom. He played with us, some of our feelings. He made me think that nobody can be trusted in this world selflessly.

I had made up my mind back then, before Savitar came. Before he showed me what, not trusting anyone can bring out in me.

Then came Thawne. My long lost rival. I always thought that I had a plan for everything, my friends had a plan for everything. But he was different.

Somehow he managed to be one step ahead of us each and every time we faced him.

Every time he tried to ruin my life. Stopped by me and my friends thrice, stopped by Oliver and his team once. Stopped by Sara and her Legends once. But he never stopped. He had this hatred for me in him. I don't know why, I don't know how, but he always had this within him

He is always ready to ruin my life.

Whether it be Illusion, Zoom, Savitar, Mirror Master, Reverse Flash my enemies were growing more rapidly than the global warming.

Maybe this was the reason why I never felt secure? Maybe watching my dad in pain and remembering my mother's death forced me to go back in time to try and save her again.

But then I found out, it's nothing but an excuse. I have these powers, I have to use them carefully. My time of doing and repeating past mistakes are over.

But are its repercussions over?

What is this?

I am traveling through time stream trying to get hold of my speed, but like Thawne said, my body is injured and no speed I am not able to focus on my earth.

I am helpless. These places, why don't I remember them? I have traveled through time before, I have traveled through space before. I have traveled to different earths before. Then why am I not able to recollect these places.

Who are they?

I notice many earths on my way. An earth with each hero appearing to be half human and half machine.

Everyone here is like a Cyborg.

I also noticed an earth where every hero was wearing an armor like the Amazonians.

An Amazonian League?

I have to take a deep breath and cool myself down.

What has happened here? Has my last travel through time and flashpoint caused as much ripple in the continuity that entirely new universes were created?

Here comes another earth.

That's Caitlin. Why is she killing Batman? Wait, here Clark is Batman? Why is J'onn killing Fate? Why is the League trapped by him in Fate's house? Everything until now was slowly blurring out.

What have I done? Is it all because of me?

But now, I have to focus. I have to focus and get back to that time. I have to help my friends. And most importantly Bart.

I hear that voice again. Who are you? Why am I hearing you?.

I then notice a helmet. A golden color helmet with two stripes on it. It looked like Batman's cowl.

But I think I know him. The man appearing to be a shadow holds my hand firmly. But the hand was soft, it cannot be the hand of a man, I thought to myself.

Jesse.

A whisper is heard.

She holds my hand tightly, and starts running along with me. I couldn't see her face. But I could tell from the warmth that she was smiling. She then applies all her force and throws me out of the loop.

Get back for us.

I hear that. But how could I help you, if I don't remember you?

Everything starts turning dark. Black. The loop's force starts increasing. A ray of light could be seen pulling me towards it. And then I am gone. Lost in this eternal darkness not knowing where I will lead to. Or will I be alive .

Unknown Earth, Batman's POV:

The battle scene would have been hard to look at if not for Batman's taste in violence. The air was still and somewhat smoky, but was almost completely cleared. The still air made the torn up ground seem even more jagged and broken. Random chunks of rock were thrown everywhere and the bodies on the ground didn't help the silent scrimmage. The moonlight made all of the dead faces look old and ragged, almost forming new monsters in the world. They were ghosts haunting the scene.

It had only been two days since the fight and the government had failed to send the usual clean up crew for the battle. The thought made Batman feel a sense of anger. His friends deserved something better than just lying on the cold ground, waiting to be eaten by animals.

Batman stopped his pacing when he came to a pile of his teammates. He stared at them. Black Canary was on top of the mess. Her body was twisted so that her chest faced upwards and her pelvis faced down. The skin on her abdomen was shriveled and ripped open just enough to reveal her bowls. Her mouth also hung open, her jaw ripped open. It made her seem like she was in an eternal state of pain, giving an unheard scream.

Batman forced himself to look away. The injection he had was able to let him have self control, the ability to make choices of good or bad, but it failed at allowing him to stop his feelings of intrigue and desire when he saw the dried blood on the ground. It didn't stop his thoughts of squeezing the dead bodies to figure out how they died. It didn't stop his urge of wanting to feel the bones that were in the wrong places in Black Canary.

Batman continued to stare at a spot on the ground. He thought that just maybe, if he stared long enough, then he would win this battle he was having within himself.

But suddenly, a flash of a bright light boomed in front of Batman. He raised his arm to cover his eyes. The light sprawled outward larger and larger, making a high pitched sound until finally, as fast as the light came, it vanished.

And in the light's place stood Flash alive and well. There appeared to be steam emanating from his back and he fell to his knees.

Batman stood in a confused state just staring. Clark told me Flash was gone. This is impossible. The two of them stood in silence for a moment and looked at each other until Flash broke the silence.

Barry's POV:

"Bruce? "

I look around myself and then notice the pile of bodies littered around. I take a quick look of my hands and start moving them.

"What happened? How did I come back? Was it Cyborg? Or the Justice League?"

I was not able to get hold of my consciousness and walk in a dizzy manner towards Bruce and place my hands over his shoulder while trying to balance myself.

"You have increased visiting gym these days I think? Or maybe training with Clark?"

I then try to look toward my injured leg. I bend down and start checking up on my injuries.

"It should have been cured by now." I take a deep sigh as I look at Batman from the corner of my eyes.

"Okay man, I am sorry that I didn't tell you much about this traveling through time and all. But I have everything sorted out. Well not my leg obviously which I need your help to do."

Still no response.

Why is he looking at me like that?

I could barely think now. Barely speak a word, everything started appearing blurred. This time I hold Bruce's shoulder with a tighter grip as my head lightens up with pain, the pain in my legs, the thought of feeling helpless and on top of that feeling weak. What else could a fastest man alive ask for?

Batman's POV:

Batman turned away to collect himself. This is more work from the Complex. It has to be. How can I prove it? He blinked and took some deep breaths in. He couldn't let Flash see the demons in his eyes.

Batman turned back around to face Flash. He looked the same as he had before. Everything from his suit, posture, and demeanor had not changed. Batman listened carefully to what Flash had to say before speaking. Bruce cleared his throat.

"How did you get here? How are you alive?" His tone was low and demanding. He kept his eyes unreadable as he took a step forward. If this was more work from the Complex, he wanted to seem dangerous.

Flash immediately blurted, "Wait, why are you behaving so strange Bruce? I said I'm sorry. But I have to go now. Even if it looks like I can't in my current state."

Batman squinted his eyes as he paid attention to Flash's voice. That was the one thing that wasn't the same. Who is wasman?

Bruce leaped into action and caught Flash by surprise. Bruce landed a hand on Flash's neck and began to squeeze, a tingle rising in his stomach. In a panicked voice, Bruce yelled at Flash. "Who sent you?! Who's left from the Complex?!"

Barry's POV:

"Bruce, what are you doing?"

I tried to dodge his move, but he was fast. Yes, faster than the fastest man alive. With my injuries taking a toll on me and head spinning it was getting difficult.

"Bruce..."

He realized something. His eyebrows were upwards now.

"I am on another earth! That is the only explanation why there are bodies here lying from which I don't know a majority of them and you behaving strange! That wormhole and that energy pulling me towards it. It was from this earth."

Batman's POV:

Bruce seemed frazzled as he released Flash, both of them breathing hard. He took a slow breath in before continuing to interact. Bruce analyzed all of the things this Flash had just told him. It was too complicated to seem feasible. Though the Flash from his world never had traveled like the Flash that stood before him, Bruce reasoned that enough energy could be created to make Flash's story be true.

Batman stood tall and looked Barry in the eyes. "I reason that you were drawn here because of the massive amount of energy that was distributed among us a couple days ago." Bruce gestured to the surrounding rubble.

"The wormhole you were describing could have been attracted to the energy surges released, creating ripples while you were traveling. I deduce that those ripples separated you with where you were really trying to go. Where were you heading?"

"Yes, I knew it. I was thrown out to the time stream by a lifelong enemy of mine. I tried to focus to that same time again, but failed."

Bruce paused. "I assume you need to get back."

"Yes. But I don't think my body could hold on to this longer than this. So I need some medication too."

"Come with me." Bruce turned his back and began to walk away with fast strides, hoping that Flash would focus on following him and not on the surrounding area. He clenched his jaw as his gut tingled at the sight of more bodies. Bruce marched on in frustration. Do not let him see your demons. No one can know.

Barry's POV:

It was terrible, the bodies lying. The brutality. This earth has seen quite terrible things here. Bruce is the angriest here more than on any other earth I know. What happened to Clark, Diana? What circumstances unfolded which led to such horrors here? I have to get back soon, I know. But I will try to help him if he needs to. I will never let a Batman feel let down by a Flash.
