The robot lifted its foot off my back. I stood up and groaned. The door unlocked and I exited the room. Spinner and Crimson stopped talking to each other and looked at me. Right, when they were walking toward me the bell rang. That was great timing because I am not in the mood to talk. I quickly gathered my belongings and headed to my next class.

The last two classes weren't too bad. The teachers talked about the class and what the point of it was. We didn't start anything yet, because like I said before the teacher talked the whole class time.

At the end of the last class, I got my bag from my locker and looked for my brother. He was already waiting for me by the front entrance. Kyle looked pretty beat up. "Abilities Training?"

He nodded, "Let's head home. I need to make dinner and rest up."

Kyle started walking home with me following behind. "Did you make any friends?"

Well, let's see... Spinner's my friend. Torpedo might be my friend? Crimson is just an annoying guy that I know.

"Two," I responded while putting my hands in my pockets. He stopped walking and smiled. "That's great! My little sister is actually making friends." Kyle hugged me.

I sighed and just rolled with it. After a few seconds, he stopped hugging and continued walking. In a few minutes we were home and I basically dashed to my room. I removed my mask, tossed my bag to the side and plopped on my bed.

I yawned and snuggled in my covers. The good thing about hero school is that there isn't any homework. That means more sleep for me. While my brother was cooking I was taking a nap.

You're probably wondering, 'Where are their parents?' Well, my parents are gone. They've been gone ever since I was three. My brother told me they died, but he never told me how. Ever since they died our aunt took care of us, but she was crazy so we left. Luckily my brother was eighteen at that time so he was able to take care the two of us. 

After a while, my brother came into my room and woke me up. "Chrissy... wake up." I lazily got up and rubbed my eyes. He already left my room and was in the dining room. I slowly made my way to the bathroom and washed my hands. Then went to the dining room to eat.

When we were done eating my brother washed the dishes and I went back to my room. Before I plopped on my bed again, there was a new message on my phone. Strange. I picked it up from my desk and read it.

? - Hey this is Spinner.

Shadow - How did you get this number?

Spinner - Took your phone from your pocket. Plus aren't friends supposed to exchange numbers?

Shadow - How did you unlock my phone???

Spinner - Hacking skills. XP

So other than having arachnid powers he's a hacker? I guess that's cool. I always wanted to learn to hack into stuff. My brother knows how to do that. Only a little bit, but it's better than nothing.

Shadow - I'm going to take a nap.

Spinner - Bye.

I turned off my phone and placed back on my desk. Then I plopped on my bed and laid down. My eyes closed and I slowly fell asleep.
