*Oliver's POV*

I woke up in the house inside the dome, lying down on the top bunk of the bed. There were bandages on my head and I hadn't seen the person at the foot of the bed, sitting with her hands in her lap and her legs on the ladder until a soft sob escaped her lips.

"Hey" I said trying to sit up but being hit with a headache instantly.

"Hey" Dani said looking at me with concern. Her eyes were red and puffy indicating that she had just been crying. When I saw her crying I sat up not caring about the headache.

"Dani what's wrong? How long have I been out?"

"Um" She sniffled before continuing "You've been out for a couple hours."

"How many hours? The last thing I remember is Jake punching me across the face."

"Yah. The hit was hard enough that you were knocked out"

"Yah, but how am I still here? Jake has super strength, shouldn't my head have been blown off or something?" 

Typically I would've guessed Dani would tease me and say something like 'Are you complaining?' or whatever but she just said "No. When Jake hit you he was glowing red and that red was weakening his powers. Apparently when we were told that 'Jake's powers are controlled by his emotions' that meant when he was mad they either get stronger or weaker. In this case they got weaker"

"Why did they get weaker? How do you know all this?" I asked

"They got weaker cause he might've been made at you for sleeping with his girlfriend but, your still his best friend. He wouldn't hurt you even if he was paid to"

"How do you know all of this?"

"Anthony" She said about to burst into tears

I wanted to ask her more but by the look on her face, she might've started balling her eyes out if I did.

Instead of saying anything. I sat up ignoring the headache and motioned for her to come closer to me by opening my arms.

She did as I implied and came over sinking into my hug. She let out a sob that was followed by another until she was full out crying. I don't know what happened but I hated seeing her like this. I didn't say anything, I just... held her. Trying my best to be helpful. 

After a few minuets she pulled away, her face red with embarrassment from crumbling so easily. I've known Dani since we were kids. We may have been enemies always trying to top one another but sometimes thats the best way to get to know someone. From always fighting and arguing with her, I knew Dani was a strong, confident, stubborn as hell, woman who didn't show her emotions unless she couldn't hold them in anymore.  Crumbling like this would be embarrassing to her, especially in front of me.

"I'm sorry" She said using her sleeve as a snot rag.

"It's fine" I assured. I hesitated before adding "You don't have to but, an explanation of what happened while I was out would be nice"

She gave me a re-cap of everything that had happened and everything about the tree but it was the end that was the most.... important.

"It had been 3 hours since Ivy and I got you and Jake in here and bandaged. Sasha an Marko were taking to long, so we went outside to look for them. We found Marko at the bottom of the pit.... he was on his knee's in shock and there was some random guy stuck under a rock so we pulled him out and got Marko out of there. Their in the other room right now. Once Marko came out of shock he told us what happened to Sasha... and why Anthony was here and who he is"

"Who is he? What happened to Sasha?" I asked 

"Anthony is Sasha and Marko's childhood friend who got stuck in the tree. He was in there for years and when your in there basically you... die, and Sasha...... "

"Dani, what happened to Sasha?" 

"She..." Dani took a breath to calm herself down "Sasha took his place. She sacrificed herself for all of us, for the dome, the tree, and for Marko" A tear rolled down her face at saying this but she quickly swiped it away with her finger-tips.

I didn't know how to react. Sasha was.... gone? Out of the six of us Sasha and I fought the most, We got into arguments over the dumbest things. One time, while Ivy was still in the hospital we started an argument about pizza. Don't ask I will not go into detail. 

Sure we had our differences but... I never wanted her to... leave.

We sat there in silence as I absorbed all the information I had just been given.

"You wanna go get some food? There's some stuff to eat in the other room and it might be good for you to walk around a bit."Dani suggested.

"yah sure" I said. Dani jumped down from the top bunk and I had to use the ladder. Jumping would hurt my brain..... bad excuse I know.

We walked out the door and the scene was so depressing I didn't want to look. Marko sat on a wooden chair from the table in silence, with blankets wrapped around him and a hot drink his hands. He was pale with bags under his eyes and he looked like he hadn't slept in year. He was clearly upset I debated asking him if he was okay but decided against it considering he clearly wasn't.

On the couch was another guy sitting in silence. His arm was bandaged and he wasn't wearing a shirt so you could see the bandages on his stomach as well. I assumed that was Anthony and didn't question.

Then there was Ivy sitting on the floor with her knees to her chest as she stared into nothing.

"Hey guys" Dani said calmly. Ivy stood up and walked into the other room probably going to check on Jake She didn't say a word and I couldn't balm her.. "By the way Oliver the superpowers help us heal faster so something small like a blow to the head should go away in a couple more hours."

"Something small?" I asked

"Yah, you'll be fine Jake on the other hand... when he waked up he'll either be totally fine or a complete mess." Dani explained

I nodded in response.

Dani sat on the floor with her back against the foot of the couch and I sat next to her.

We sat in silence for what felt like forever when I realized something.

"I'm gonna go make a phone call" I said. I patted my pockets looking of my phone when I found it in my back pocket. I walked outside and dialled the number.

"Hello?"Rosie's voice called from the other end of the phone.

"Hey! sorry about the date. I didn't know Jake would be there and... well it's a long story."I apologized

"It's fine. Are you okay? Hows Jake?" 

"Jake's.. fine. I'm okay.How about you?" We started talking about the most random things not wanting to bring up the topic of 'the date'. After about an hour long phone call we hung up and I held my phone out for a few seconds just scrolling through apps.

"Oliver" A soft creepy voice called. Whatever it was it was defiantly female and defiantly familiar.

"Who's there?" I was standing at the foot of the tree listening for the voice.

"Oliver" It called again." Go into the pit." 

"Creepy voice telling me to go into the pit in the middle of a magical dome... Hmm let me think about it" I paused for affect "F*ck no lady!"

"Oliver please" It pleaded"we don't have much time"

"Tell me who you are first"I demanded

"Oliver It's me!"

"Who the hell is 'Me'?"

"Oliver it's me Sasha!" I froze not wanting to believe it. I couldn't deny that it sounded like her but my instincts told me not to do it. 

"Prove it. Whats one thing Sasha and Only Sasha would know?"

"I proved Einstein's theory wrong by simply-" I cut the voice off

"Yah your Sasha. Only she would say something so boring to prove herself." No response. I took that as a good thing. I walked over to the pit and flew inside. Dani was right when she said my head would be fine with the powers helping. I felt perfectly fine as if nothing had happened.

I landed and noticed the difference in lighting down here. Yes I had been down here before. There was one time we were here and I hid Ivy'd phone down here to piss her off a bit.

It worked.

The last time I was down here I could barely see past the end of my nose. Now the roots of the tree were bright and glowing like crazy. There was also a doorway made from the tree's roots that was defiantly new. I walked over to it and right before my eyes it changed into a one meter long gold mirror. The reflection in the mirror was me for only a few minuets before it shimmered and turned into an Image of...

Sasha....

"Sasha?" I asked "I thought you- what happened? Whats going on?" I asked her

"Oliver I don't have time to explain I need you to go and get Marko and the others" She said with a look of seriousness in her eyes.

"Yah. I'll go get them" I flew out of the pit as fast as I could and burst into the house where Everyone was sitting as If I had never left. The only difference was Jake and Ivy had come out of the other room and Jake looked like they just explained everything to him but other then that he seemed fine-Meaning he didn't looked like he was sore or had any broken bones or anything.

"You guys need to come with me right now!" I ordered. Ivy, Jake and Dani stood up looking at me like I was crazy. 

"Oliver what is it?" Ivy asked 

"Sasha" I responded. That was enough for the three of them to rush out the door and even Marko stood up and followed. I showed them towards the pit and we all flew in quickly as we could (Which was extremely fast for Marko). 

Ivy, Dani, Jake and I got down there to see Sasha and Marko simply starring at each other.  Each of them had one hand on the mirror trying to grab the other persons hand but the glass or whatever it was blocked their way.

"Sasha?" Ivy asked gently 

"Yah. It's me." We all stared at her in shock for a few minuets before she snapped us back to reality. Or as close as reality as you can get to talking to your friend who should be dead and has her soul trapped in a magical tree. 

Yah pretty normal.

"We don't have much time. They're on there way for answers."

"Who's they?" Jake asked.

"I'm getting to it." She stated "Being in the tree has strengthened my powers, I've learned things I didn't think were possible. This 'call' I'm giving you guys right now, I only have three. This is the first but I had to tell you guy the information I got. We've only got ten minuets."

"What Information?" I asked

"Two people close specifically to, three of us are going to betray us in one of the worst ways possible. I can't tell you guys how, The barrier prevents me but I can tell you that when Anthony was in here he used his 'calls' three times for the same person each time. The two were forming a plan, I want to tell you guys what the plan was but then I lose my ability to talk or communicate with the outside world forever."She announced casually

"What do you mean 'communicate with the outside world'?" Dani asked

"I can leave trails of flowers or print messages in the tree's with my newer abilities but if I tell you guys to much I lose that gift"She responded

"How do you lose it?"  Jake asked

Marko was simply staring at Sasha trying to memorize her image.

"He takes it away" Sasha said 'he' like it was a virus that killed her family.

"Who's he?" Ivy questioned

"I can't say" 

"Helpful" I commented

"Shut up Oliver" Dani told me hitting my arm.

"I'm sorry I'm not much of a help but I can tell you guys that the flower who gave us our power's in the first place is a person. But his identity is one even I don't know.He lives somewhere in New York and if you guys find him he might be able to either take away or strengthen you powers, it's up to you" 

"Where in New York can we find him?" Dani asked

"Downtown, He's working a street-meat cart called red-rose meat. Stupid name but it doesn't matter. You guys have to find him he can help all of us."

We sat in silence for a few seconds. Dani was obviously trying to come up with some kind of plan, so we all just shut up absorbing the info.

"Sasha" Marko said finally getting over his shock.

"Marko" She replied a tear rolling down her cheek."Before everything happened I never got a chance to respond back to you"

Marko blushed. I didn't know what happened between them but whatever it was it must've been important. 

"Marko I Lov-" She was cut off.

 From the top of the pit someone shot a gun and it hit directly in the centre of the mirror shattering it into a million pieces.

"NNNOOO!!!" Marko screamed. He turned to face who had shot the bullet with rage in his eyes.

We all turned our heads looking at the person with the gun in hand.

My heart shattered.

There at the top of the pit Making her way down towards us...

Was Rosie...

With Anthony and an army of men in F.B.I uniforms marching behind her...
