*Oliver's POV*

"WHY WOULD SHE DO THAT!?!?" I yelled at Dani

"She was drugged and high on those drugs, she couldn't control herself"She defended

Dani had just finished telling me that while Ivy was in the hospital she told Jake about the night I couldn't remember but couldn't get away from.

"Yah well I was drunk and high that night butyl Jake forgive me for that?!" I screamed

I was so screwed. If Jake found out then it was goodbye world! Hello grave!

No thanks.

"Oliver I'm sorry. You have to hide until Ivy calls and says she's calmed Jake down. It may sound stupid but-"I cut Dani off

"No it's not" I complained. This was not how I wanted to spend my Saturday."Jake deserves to know I just didn't know how I was gonna tell him. He would've been angrier if we waited but...Your right. Where are we going?"

"Downtown" She responded

"Why there?"

"cause the statue of liberty was to far now we should go. He might be looking for you right now."

Great.

Not only was my best friend angry and probably looking for me-no that's never enough- he had to have emotion controlled super strength to go with it.

"Let's go" I said and grabbed my car keys

"What are those for?" She asked

"Um how are we going to get downtown?"

"Flying? If Jake see's your car he'll know where you are."

"Whats the point of having a car if you can't even drive it?"

"you don't drive your car you look and admire it."

"you just don't understand the bond between guy and machine"

She walked past me to my living room muttering something about boys being a curse from Hogwarts or something and she walked out the door and into my backyard waiting for me.

We made sure no one was watching and we flew into the air.

A few minuets later we were downtown looking at all the tall buildings and the street art. Dani lead me to this bakery she said had he best deserts and breads in the world (I think she said it was called Óla Bakery)and we grabbed a table and sat by the window. A few minuets later a waitress came and took our orders. She left to grab our food and in less then 3 minuets she was back.

After that Dani and I walked around, I showed a few of my favourite spots in the city that Jake didn't know about, we went to the movies, it was a lot of fun.

Now before any of you start saying Aw! I ship it! Let me make one thing clear.

I am not dating Dani.

No way.

She is just a friend.

no more.

Besides after my encounter with Grace I don't think I'm gonna date anyone for a while.

Some how we ended up sitting on park swings just talking.

When the explosion happened.

At the base of one of the taller buildings in the city someone lit a bomb and the building was now on fire.

"Let's go" Dani yelled running from the swing set.

"Wait" I called

"What!?"

"Make us look different incase people see us Sasha isn't here and we don't have much time."

She shot me a bitter look before spitting out fine and changing herself and I. She gave me pitch-black hair and pale skin. Basically I looked like a male snow-white. She even changed my clothing to a superman costume and it was the most irritating thing ever. She also topped it off with a mask looking a lot like the one from the disney/pixar movie the incredibles.

Dani looked completely different. She made her hair a lot longer and bright purple. She wore a tight black suit that covered her entire body and a mask that looked exactly like mine that covered her still green eyes. She was also a bit darker but it wasn't that obvious being covered in black from her feet to her shoulders.

"Happy?!" She asked clearly frustrated

"Yes lets go" And we ran to the building.

"Grab all the people in the streets and move them to the park, I'll get everyone inside." She flew into the air and broke into one of the widows.

I turned off the gravity for everyone who was on the ground and moved them to the park, feeling an adrenaline rush go through me.

"My Daughter!" A familiar looking man screamed from the crowd at the park "Where is my daughter!?!"

I looked around as the building continued crumbling and saw not a little girl but Grace Newman unconscious with her leg stuck under a rock. Thats why he was familiar. That was Grace's dad! I'd met him on year at the school science fair or something.While still in air, I moved the rock off of grace's leg and flew her over to her father.

I saw Dani flying the last of the people from inside the building to the park. She had turned herself into a giant and shrank back down to her normal size when she finished. That must've taken a lot out of her because she and I were now back to our normal selves. Not even the masks to protect our identities. Dani looked pretty beat but she put on a strong face.I was doing the same thing feeling that adrenaline rush leave just as quickly as it had come.

"LOOK!!" A woman from the crowd called. She pointed towards the bottom of the building where the main parts of the building was beginning to fall. Seeing as how Dani was busy with crowd control I flew to her as fast as I could. Mid-way there I remembered: Hey I can just make her float over here instead of killing us both! I raised my hand and she began flying off the ground and towards me. Her leg was bleeding and clearly injured. I was so busy focusing on her leg that I almost didn't notice when I flew her right into me. I caught her and carried her bridal style towards the park before the building killed us both.

You know how earlier I said I wasn't going to date anyone for a while?

Yah never mind.

She was beautiful. She had wavy-curly hair that was ear length and faded Pink but her roots were brown. She seemed to be a little taller than Dani and was skinny but not like bone skinny. She had tanned skin and stormy grey eyes that seemed to be filled with mystery and pain. She wore now ripped and covered in blood tight camouflage pattered pants and black combat boots with a white shirt with some weird pink design on it.

"Hey" I said trying to sound cool. We were a block away from the park when she said.

"stop" I did as she asked

"Doesn't superman ever kiss a girl?" She asked. She crashed her lips into mine and I felt my mind melt. I descended slowly to the ground but stopped when the building crashed into the earth. I pulled away from her and flew us both over to the park. I put her down on the grass in the only clear spot when she said

"Hey you go to NortWood high school right?"

Oh shit. Was she in one of my classes or something!?

Oh shit!Oh shit!Oh shit!

"What makes you think that?" I said trying to play it cool.

"You just look like a guy from my French class. Owen Townsmen right?" She guessed

"I don't know who your talking about"

"You are Owen!"

"Be quiet!" I put my hand over her mouth. "No 'Owen Townsmen' is not my name. I can't talk here"

"Then lets go somewhere else"

I looked at her as she tried to use that stupid 'puppy dog look' trick on me.

It worked.

"Fine" I picked her up once again bridal style and carried her to the roof of one of the buildings.

"Whats your name?" She asked

"Why should I tell you anything?"I responded

"Cause if I start screaming 'rape' eventually someone will come and you'll be arrested"

"Not if they don't know who I am"

She pulled out her phone and before I knew it she had picture proof I brought her up here.

"Now they'll know who you are." She said waiving her phone around.

"Fine you got me" I sighed. "But how do I know you won't tell anyone about me?"

"I'll give you dirt about me and then we'll be even"

"It has to be something really good. No offence I'm a superhero about to give my identity to a complete stranger."

"What I will tell you could get me kicked out of NorthWood so yah, I think we'll be even"

"You first"

"Fine." She sighed "When I first came to NorthWood it was grade ten and a teacher started flirting with me. We went on dates and blah blah blah like any normal couple except he was my teacher."

"Thats disgusting!" I yelled"No offence"

"Yah and it could get me expelled so yah. Whats your name?"

I took a deep breath probably about to regret my decisions.

"Oliver" I said "My name is Oliver Todd"

"Hi Oliver" She stuck out her hand "I'm Roselyn King. But you can call me Rosie"
