*Ivy's POV*

The last thing I remember before passing out is Jake. He caught me, midair and brought me down to the ground slowly.

"Ivy"he whispered looking down at me. Then I blacked out for good.

The next thing I remembered was waking up in a hospital room. Everything was fuzzy. They must've given me medication or something cause I felt like I was high.

"Ivy?" A soft voice called.

"Woah" I said looking up at the voice, I think it was Jake but I couldn't be sure cause the meds affected my vision, I reached my hand out and played with his face. I knew what I was doing it but the medication wouldn't let me stop.

"You have a really big head" I said still playing with his face

"Iv, your high"he informed

"No shit Sherlock" I mumbled. He grabbed my wrists and pulled my hands away from his face.

"What happened?" I asked

"Well, I caught a you as you fell and brought you here. The others stayed back. Ivy you've been in the hospital for about a week."

"I didn't mean that silly" I said "I meant about Oliver."

"What about him?"

"He slept with Grace stupid." I said and playfully slapped his face. The drugs really had made me dumb if I was stupid enough to tell Jake that. I felt the meds kicking in again and I suddenly felt tired.

"What do you mean? Iv! Don't fall asleep!" To late. My eyelids grew a lot heavier and I fell asleep before my high-self could tell Jake anymore.

The next time I woke up Dani was in the room, she looked really sad. The issue with that was the doctors still had me on drugs so my inner stupidity came out and I was ready to spill everything.

"Hey Dani!" I said

"Ivy!" She said giving me a hug

"Are you okay?" She asked pulling away to look at my face

"Yah, just a little out of it" I admitted "did you talk to Oliver yet?"

"Talk to him 'bout what?"

"What 'bout Jake did you talk to him yet?"

"Why do I need to talk to either of them?"

"Oliver had something really important to tell you. And you may wanna talk to Jake about the Oliver and Grace thing"

"Why? Ivy what did you tell them? What do you want me to talk to them about?"

Again my consciousness was only temporary. I felt my eyelids get heavier and as Dani shot questions at me, I fell asleep again.

This time I woke up to a random person I've never seen before.

"May I help you?" This time all the drugs were out of my system, I felt like crap. It was also the first time I noticed the extreme pain and the bandage on my shoulder I had been shot on.

"How are you feeling Ivy?" He asked me. He had bright red hair that was in a military style cut. He was maybe in his mid 40's with scars covering his arms. His chocolaty brown eyes were full of pain like he had recently viewed a death. Working in a hospital, I couldn't tell if that was the case.

"I'm fine." I tried sitting up only to groan in pain over my shoulder. "Well. Fine-ish. Who are you?"

"I'm Doctor Fernandes. When you got here you were given surgery right away and we've been giving you pain medication in case you woke up. Apparently the medication was affecting you when you did wake. Your friend told me you said some pretty strange things"

"Strange like what?"

"Let them tell you that. One young man and woman in particular have been here everyday. The male more specifically."

"What about my parents?"

"They've been here everyday also, but not as much as those two"

"Can you send them in?"

"Okay. And if you need anything press that red button on your desk." With that he walked out and called my friends.

"Hey Ivy" Dani said softly

"Hey" I responded

"Are you okay?" Jake asked

"Yah I'm okay. Are you two the ones the doctor said have been here everyday?" I asked

"Yah" Dani started "but Jake's been here more than I have."

Jake blushed. Not a common site.

"it doesn't matter, Dani, can you get me some water? I haven't had anything to drink in like two weeks"

"three." Jake said

"Excuse me?"I questioned

"You've been in here for three weeks" he told me

"Even more of a reason, Dani please?"

"Uh yah" she hesitated. "Sure. Jake you want something?"

"Nah I'm good"

"Okay" she nodded and walked out the door. Jake and I sat in silence for a few seconds. He just stared at me, like he was waiting for me to explode

"Jake you okay?"I asked him

Silence

"Jake seriously. What's wrong?"

"When you were..... High. I guess, you woke up once when I was in here and you said something about Oliver, do you remember what it was?"

"No" I lied. I knew exactly what he was talking about. As much as I hated to admit to it, I may have accidentally told Jake his girlfriend had cheated on him with his best friend.

Well.

Shit.

"You said something about Oliver and Grace. Does that ring a bell?"

"No" I said and tried to keep a straight face. Which wasn't that hard considering I couldn't move.

"Your lying" he snapped

I knew I shouldn't be lying to him, especially if it effected his powers.But I couldn't just tell him either. Not while I couldn't stop him from attacking Oliver.

Thank god Dani walked in to stop the conversation.

"Hey sorry it took forever." She apologized "the water was on the next floor up and I couldn't find it and blah blah blah" she handed me a cup and it felt like it weight a ton. My arms were led, I would've dropped the cup if a certain some one hadn't caught it.

"You okay?" Marko asked looking into my eyes. He had the cup in his hand and Sasha was on his back.

"hi?" I questioned.

"How did you guys get here?" Dani asked.

"Ran" Marko answered like it was the simplest thing in the world. Sasha hopped off his back and Marko handed the cup to Dani so she could help me drink. She put the straw between my lips and I realized just how thirst I really was.

"Thanks" I said embarrassed.

"Where's Oliver?" Dani asked suddenly.

"He's on his way, I messaged him a little while ago."Sasha said.

"How did you guys know I was awake?"I asked.

"I ran in here earlier and no one noticed, so I ran back to get Sasha and here we are" Marko explained

"What happened at city hall. After I was... You know"I asked

They told me the story of how they defeated the guys in city hall and how this time Sasha managed to somehow go into the captives minds and switch the identities of us with other people. It's actually really cool. So now according to the people who were in the building as hostages, they were saved by the family from Duck Dynasty. Then Sasha took over and didn't let anyone else explain the rest of the story. She said that after they went back to the dome Marko got the strange but brilliant Idea to build a van with stuff we may need in it. So if there ever an emergence Sasha could drive the van to the location and have any supplies we need, meaning the tree sap for healing a first aid kit a computer, and some other stuff.

"Where's the van then?" I asked

"In the dome" Marko said

"Hey guys"Oliver said walking in

"Took you long enough" Dani complained

"Why? Did you miss me?"

"How could anyone miss that?" Dani returned

"Why am I the targeted one?" He asked

"What do you mean?" Jake asked

"There are six people to make fun of. Why me?" He asked loudly

"Cause your the easiest of six to make fun of" I said.

"Oliver?" Jake asked

"Yah?" He responded

"You know when the girl in the hospital bed tells you something like that, it has to be true.No offence Ivy" Jake finishes. We all blasted out laughing, well they did, I watched and tried no to laugh.

They started telling me stories, about school, about each other, about the dome, Sasha even said she may have a theory about the flower but she wouldn't go into any more detail. We continued talking and for, four amazing hours we were normal teenagers.

"Visiting hours are over" Doctor Fernandes said poking his head in the doorway"Unless one of you plans to spend the night I'm going to have to ask you to leave"

"I'll stay"Dani said

"You don't have to" I told her

"Nah I want to. Besides if you spend anymore time in here alone you might start talking to inanimate objects."

She was right. I probably would've if she hadn't stayed.

Doctor Fernandes led everyone out and Dani made herself comfortable on the empty bed beside mine. Soon all the lights were off on the floor aside from ours. Dani (using her powers) changed her jeans and coat into pyjama pants and a pyjama shirt. Based off of the selfie she took with me on her phone I asked her if she could fix my hair and make-up as well. With a wave of her hand my hair looked like a photo off of tumblr and my make-up was light and almost non existent.

"Better?" She asked me

"Much" I responded

She walked over to the empty bed and laid on top of it.

"Dani?" I asked

"Yeah?"She responded

"I gotta tell you something"

"Whats up?" She rolled over on the bed to lay on her stomach and she looked at me waiting for my answer.

"I think I may have accidentally told Jake about Grace"

"WHAT?!" She yelled

"Shhh! You'll wake the other patients"

"Why would you do that?!"

"I was high! The medication had really affected me when Jake visited the one day. I woke up and said stupid things, I spilled peoples secrets. It wasn't my fault. It was the stupid medication! I'm sorry"

She sighed and fell onto her back. She seemed to be processing what I said.

Silence.

"What does he know?"Dani asked

"I'm not sure, he asked about it, or he hinted at it when you went to go get water. I don't think he believes me though"I informed

"Well then we have to tell him"

"What!? You just yelled at me so I didn't tell him anything"

"Yah but Jake isn't that stupid. He'll keep asking questions until you spill." Another silence.

"You have to tell him" She instructed

"What?! Why me?! if it affects his powers then we can't just-" She cut me off

"Ivy" She stood up from her bed, walked over to mine and sat at my legs. "Ivy he listens to you, you might be able to calm him down. If you tell him in the right way he will be calm-ish about it"

"-Ish isn't very comforting"

"Yah but, -ish is the best we got."

We had a silent conversation as she starred daggers at me

"Fine!" I yelled "I'll tell him, but if he asks where I heard this from I heard it from you. You have to deal with Oliver after."

"What do you mean deal with Oliver?"

"Get him to hide. If Jakes powers really are affected by his emotions then we might be screwed, Hide Oliver and you deal with him"

We went over what to do and say the rest of the night until eventually we fell asleep.

Six weeks later I was finally aloud to leave the hospital and go home.

Six.

Weeks.

Do you know how long that is?

It's six weeks long!

I swear if I had been in that room for any longer then I would've started talking to inanimate objects.

On the up side during those six weeks we all became closer. A lot closer. We even came up with some code-words for battle plans incase it's needed.

I had been home for a few days and was told to take it easy.

Yah right.

I drove straight to the dome as soon as my parents took me off house arrest.

Downside. Jake was the only person there meaning he wouldn't leave me alone until I told him everything.

"Hey Ivy" He greeted "are you gonna tell me?"

"I don't know"I responded

"Come on PLEASE!" He sounded like a five year old. But he deserved to know.

"Let me make a phone call" I called Dani and asked her if I could tell him. She said yes and we put the plan into action.

"So will you tell me?" He pleaded.

"Only if...." I thought aloud

"If what?"

"You can find me" I turner invisible and flew into the tree. He started yelling in frustration. It was a really funny sight. I flew to the ground and landed next to him. It still took him a matter of minuets to find me after that.

"Tell me!!!" He said. I turned visible again as he grabbed my shoulder and shook me forcefully to get me to talk.

"Fine!" I yelled "I'll tell you."

and I told him.....

Everything.....
