*Marko's POV*

Dani and Jake had left leaving Sasha and I alone in the giant dome.

Come on Marko. Now's your chance. You can tell her everything. It's just Sasha. You've talked to her a million times before.

Sasha had said she had something she needed to do in the house so I passed her unnoticed using my speed and sat on the couch waiting. After a few seconds of waiting I decided to scare her so I walked behind the bedroom door and waited not much longer.

"You know Marko" She said walking and startling me. "If your gonna be quiet and use super speed then at least make sure your thoughts aren't so loud, when passing someone who can read minds. You can come out from behind the door now."

"Damn you" I muttered, walking out of my hiding spot.

"Nah your just too stupid" She joked.

"Shut up" I said jokingly. She started laughing as she grabbed her purse that was sprawled out on the floor beside the couch.

"Sasha we need to talk" I said completely serious.

"Okay then talk" she said

I can't. I thought hoping she heard me.

"Why not?" She asked aloud

" 'Cause I have two things I need to tell you. The first is about falling into the grave and the second is about....."I said out loud

"About what Marko?"

Us.

"Oh...."her face went red like it always does when she's worried.

"Firstly what are we going to do about, Anthony. If the tree wasn't awake before then it defiantly is now" I said trying to make things a little less awkward

"We can't tell them. Not yet at least. And Dani said she found something that belonged to Anthony, Thats what I came in here for. She said its in here."She informed me

"Why can't we tell them. They deserve to know as much as we do"

"Your right they deserve to know but they're just not ready. How would you react if someone told you that you had been practicing your new found magical abilities on a magical grave site of a person who might not even be dead! Marko we don't even know if he's still here. For all we know Anthony could be here right now, watching us. You know just as well as I do how he can be in the shadows, especially when he discovered you know what. Those guys don't need to know that. Not yet."

"Your right"I sighed "But what about, the others."

"NO!" She snapped

"Sash they told us they needed to know if anything happened. Who know's what the other's might do!"

"Marko your right. But if what we saw down there means anything... then we might have a way of getting Anthony back. He might be able to explain things better then....the flower" She said the word 'flower' as if it was a disease, The same way I had said 'the others'.

"Sasha you know how Anthony is. If we brought him back he would never forgive us. He left a hero, we can't take that away from him. And you and I should know better than anyone how horrible the cost of the tree is"

Anthony had some strange connection to the tree in the garden. He was always studying it as if it was his life source. But what we didn't know was it was....

"Marko we can't talk about this here, If what was down there gives a chance of communicating with him again then that means we need a bit more research. I have an answer from using my power but I want to be sure."

"Your right. Again. Knowing Anthony he's here, listening to our conversation. But you know what?" I toke a few steps closer to her "He knew this was coming"

"What was coming Marko?"

"Sasha I think..... I think I still........." I didn't need to say the rest my face said it all.

"Marko" she said with sincerity. She reached her hand up and traced her fingers down my jawline. We stood there for a few moments, looking into each other's eyes. Her hazel eyes seemed to be very green, and full of wisdom. They were enchanting. We were begining to get closer until her body was pressed against mine.

"Marko you know why you think those things. It's Anthony's fault he set us up in the first place. Now in the form he's in, he can get into your head a bit easier. We can't let him win. Not in this demon form he's taken. I'm sorry Marko"

"It's fine" I said pushing her away gently. "Let's just grab Anthony's stuff and get out of here."

I walked past her out the door, leaving her there.

I felt bad leaving Sasha alone in the dome but.... I didn't know what else to do. 

I got into my car and drove home, not enjoying the lack of speed my car possessed. When I pulled into the drive way I saw that no one was home so I decided to go for a run.

It felt so weirdly cool. The wind rushing past my ear was defining, the feeling of the air on my skin. Holy crap. if this is what birds feel like, I never wanna stop.

At one point I realized I hadn't taken Sasha's advice on the whole testing my new found ability in air. I stopped running for a few seconds to find I wasn't even out of breath and I was halfway across the state.I'd only been running for about three minuets.  That wouldn't matter anyways considering where I was. I hadn't even realized my positioning. 

One more step and it would've been bye bye Marko! I was one foot away from heading face first off a cliff. 

Wow. Good timing. I thought. Well might as well.

I jumped off the cliff, and felt the wind obey to my command. It carried me as if there was a force field of no gravity surrounding my body.

It was the best feeling in the world. I stayed in place hovering over air before screaming at the top of my lungs, spinning in air and falling head first towards the ground and picking myself back up and going into the sky above the clouds at a crazy fast pace. My speed worked in the air as well as in the ground. This was amazing. 

I flew. Faster and faster, until I saw water underneath my and a plan at the same level. I veered away from the plan using enough speed I was undetected. At some point I tustve lost track of time. By now I had circled the globe and was back at home. Well in the U.S at least. I was currently sitting on the crown of the statue of liberty watching the stars in the sky.

Sasha would love this. I thought to myself, and a small grin appeared on my face. I should bring her here one time.....
