*Jake's POV*

Before the magical tree started shaking the magical dome started shaking as well... I was actually having a lot of fun.

I still can't believe in all of this. Waking up with magical powers and almost destroying everything you own in less then an hour? Really? Part of me wanted to believe it. But that part was small enough that I pushed it away without a second thought. I figured this was all some crazy dream that eventually I would wake up from but, when the dragon showed up...

I wasn't so sure.

"Okay then Ivy, you may want to stay in the air because it may make everyone's life a little easier if there's less people on the ground. Marko run laps and Dani or I can time you and maybe we could test if your speed works in air. We should also test how fast you guys can fly."Sasha instructed

"Is that all?" I asked "I didn't get any instruction"

"I can help with that" Ivy said

"How?"

"just trust me."

"Okay?"

"Come on it'l be fun"

She grabbed my hand and with all her enthusiasm and excitement she pulled me to the other end of the dome.

"Okay whats your idea?" I asked

"Oh that? I don't have one I just needed an excuse to run, I'm bored and hyper" She responded

"Then how are we supposed to test my strength?"

"Maybe we could find some rocks by the stream and if you throw them we can see how far they go"

"Brilliant" I said sarcastically 

"Okay then whats your idea Mr.Sarcastic?"

"How 'bout you give me different objects and I try not to break them."

"'Cause thats so much better" She said with complete sarcasm "But okay"

"Pass me something" I ordered

"Pass yourself something I have my own abilities to test." With that she turned around and floated off the ground. She was in the branches of the trees still visible and trying something that seemed interesting. She was creating walls and platforms for herself using her abilities. She made a platform underneath her and she stood on top of it with her arms extended the branch of the tree in front of her bent from her pushing it with some kind of wall.

"Fine" I muttered to no one in particular " I'll test out my 'abilities'" 

A smirk grew on my face as I jogged over to the creek and stuck my hands in the cool water grabbing as many rocks as I could take. A few times I would grab some bigger rocks and crush them into smaller ones. Angry with myself every time it turned one into dust. Satisfied with the amount of rocks I had I walked a little closer to the tree to where Ivy was. She had finished with pushing the tree branch back and was now creating invisible platforms that were bouncy like trampolines and she jumped from platform to platform

It honestly looked like a lot of fun and I kinda wanted to join her but I decided against it because of the fact that I might accidentally destroy one. So I went back to my original plan. 

I put the rocks in a pile beside me and picked one up. I aimed at my target and threw one at her lightly. Downside to lightly is the fact that my lightly was superman strong. So I ended up hitting the branch beside Ivy's head and a hole he size of a golfball went through the wood.

"What the hell?! Asshole?!" She yelled

"you suggested throwing rocks"I said back

"You little piece of crap"

"How about a game?" I suggested

"What kind of game?" She asked

"I throw rocks at you and you defend yourself"

"How about no"

"Why? You scared?"

"No, I'm not stupid"

"How about I do it anyways?"

"Jake don't"

She put both her hands up like she was trying to defend herself when I realized she already was. There was a light glow of white around her indicating that she had built her own little forcefield around herself. 

Smart chick.

"I won't, I won't." I told her. I saw the forcefield disappear around her.

"Then what do you want?" She asked floating down towards me.

"I want to play a real game"

"Okay.  What game?"

"Target practice."

"What do you mean 'Target practice'?"

"I throw rocks at you-"

She cut me off

"No!"

"Just here me out!"

"Fine! explain your very painful sounding game"

"I throw rocks and you use your powers to deflect them, so then its practice for both of us"

"Jake I don't even know if my shields can deflect your super strength."

"Lets test it then before you are used as the target"

She mumbled something I couldn't decipher and claimed she created a target at the stump of the tree. I asked her if she could make it a bit more visible. She tried and quickly the target got a bit whiter and brighter.

"Good enough?" She asked 

"yah" I responded

"Now" She started "Throw a rock at it. With all your strength."

I did as she asked and aimed at the large target. I whipped the rock as hard as I could and it bounced of the shield at rocket speed. It went flying past Ivy and I as we both had to duck so that it didn't kill us. It landed in the creek and a bit of steam evaporated in the spot where it had come from.

"Yah your safe" I stated

"Okay" She said sounding a little too excited

"Try dodging them to just so that I have a moving target. please"

"okay Bae" She said in a voice sounding a lot like Miranda sings

"your weird" I stated

"okay" she said in the same stupid voice. She flew into the air and hoovered in the protection of the trees. The target she had originally made now disappeared for real as she gave me a signal to wait.

"What?" I asked

"I don't know you very well so lets up the antis a bit, so we can get to know each other." She asked

"How so?" 

"If I dodge, two rocks in a row then I get to ask you a question, and if you hit me then you get to ask me a question. Got it?"

"Yah sure" I stated " Why not"

"Okay go" 

I threw one at her and she dodged also putting the rocks in their own little force field so that we could use them again.

"You throw like a girl" she teased

"Then girls must have a fantastic throw" I told her back, I took the opportunity from her distraction to throw a stone at her and I hit the shield.

"Damn" she muttered

"So I ask a question?"I asked

"I guess"

"Whats your favourite, eye colour?"

"Thats a randome question"

"Just answer"

"Green, there the most uncommon but the best looking in my opinion"

"Okay" I accepted her answer

"Go again"She ordered

I threw two more stones at her but this time she learned and dodged right away.

"My turn" She proclaimed happily

"whats your question?"

"Whats your favourite sport?"

I laughed

"What? Whats so funny?" she asked

"Nothing I've just been told I talk about my favourite sport too much"

"Well what is it?"

"Soccer"

"Okay. Go again"

I threw as soon as she said 'go' and she just barely dodged. She slammed into a tree branch and I took that opportunity by throwing the second rock. It hit her. Then I started laughing.

"you suck"She stated

"Thats okay. I still got my turn didn't I?"I responded

"Just ask the question"She snapped

I pretended to think by scratching my chin.

"Not getting any younger" She complained

"Okay fine. How about a more personal question?"I asked

"Shoot"

"How many guys have you dated?"

"2"

"2?"

"2"

I must've looked surprised because thats exactly how I felt.

"What?" She asked "How many were you expecting me to say?"

"No offence..." I said sheepishly "But I would've thought someone like you would have dated a lot more"

"What do you mean 'Someone like me'?"  She asked concerned

"I didn't mean it like that I meant  I've seen guys ask you out before, thats all."

"I turned them all down. They just weren't  my type"

"Then what exactly is your type?"

"You already asked your question. Throw the rocks Romeo"

I did as she asked and she dodged them both. And being the show off I can only assume she is she did a flip in air to dodge them.

"My go"She stated

"Okay"I groaned

"How many girls have you dated before?"

I silently counted them on my fingers.

"about 6"

"6?"

"Yup"

"Damn... no offence but thats a lot."

"yah. I guess I still haven't found 'the one' yet you know?

"What about your girlfriend now. Arn't you dating Grace Newman"

"Yah but...."

"But what?"

"I love Grace. I do. But I don't think she loves me"

"Why not?"

I sighed. I knew somewhere inside me I had the answer but I didn't know if I was willing to accept it or not.

"I don't know. But I don't wanna breakup with her unless I know for sure."I lied  

"I really shouldn't say this but....."She started

"But what?"

She sighed as if she would regret her choice in telling me.

"One of my best friends, she's had a crush on you for a while now. She really likes you. So if you ever do break up with Grace... I'll give you her number."

"Whats her name?"

"London"

"I've never heard that name before"

"I know but she's cool"

"Whats she like?"

"Nope"

"What do you mean Nope?"

"Nope. It's not your turn to ask a question."

"You just asked me like a billion questions!"

"I don't care you have to hit the target to ask a question"

"Fine" I whipped the rock with all the strength I had at Ivy and she dodged it easily

"Ha Ha" She said.

The rock didn't stop though. It bounced off of tree branched hitting leaves onto the ground and chipping bark off the wood. It finally came to a stop when It found a hole in the tree trunk and managed to shake everything going on in there. Until finally it stopped.

"You okay?" I asked Ivy as she flew to the ground.

"Yah but that was kinda scary"

"A rock?"

"A rock flying over 2000 miles an hour? yes thats scary. Hey, where do you think Oliver is?"

"Knowing him, he's probably drunk at his uncles bar hitting on some slut girl. It doesn't matter he's a big boy. Lets keep playing the game. It's your-" I was cut short

The tree had begun to shake. Like crazy earthquake shake. The roots must've traveled underneath the entire dome because the ground had begun to shake as well.

"Jake!" Ivy yelled stumbling into me. I grabbed her only for the shaking to ripe us apart. She put a force field around me and flew into the air yelling for me to do the same. She flew to the tree not releasing that was where the shaking was coming from. I tried to tell her to go the other way but she didn't hear me. 

Then in a blink of an eye. I saw a large branch fall from the tree and hit her on the head. Her head was bleeding and she still had consciousness but she couldn't fly.

"IVY!" Someone I assumed was Dani and I screamed. I flew over to her as Dani stood there transforming into I don't know what. I reached Ivy just before she hit the ground and not wanting to repeat my actions with Sasha I simply held her without using any grip. 

"Thanks" She muttered

"No problem"I answered

Suddenly I saw what Dani had turned into.

A Giant.

Scaly.

Huge.

Loud.

Fire-brething.

Dragon.

The beast reached its claw out and grabbed Ivy and I.Both of us began screaming. We knew it was only Dani but I had never been so scared......

Suddenly the tree stopped shaking. 

And what I saw out of the corner of my eye.

Was the most disgusting, gross, lovey-dovey and Romantic crap I've ever seen.

Marko was holding Sasha like their lives depended on it. And when he picked her up and got into position to run towards us...

The earth collapsed underneath  them.....

and they fell into the pit...
