BONUS OF CHAPTER B: go with Miya A.

The Wedding between Miya Atsumu and Miya (y/n) told in the perspective of Kita

> Song will set the mood <

KITA SHINSUKE POV

I watched from the alter as (y/n) was hugged by her sister.

The other dead people who had photos on their chairs were sitting in them.

We were there in ghost form.

She was dressed beautifully in a white wedding dress, a smile on her beautiful face.

The makeup on her face was hiding the scars caused by Kageyama Tobio.

Kei was sitting beside me, neither of us happy, but also happy since the girl we loved was getting married to someone who loved her.

"Tch. That mustard headass," Kei crossed his arms.

Akiteru wasn't too satisfied, but he at least acknowledged that (y/n) loved Atsumu.

I watched (y/n) lean over and pick up Shoyo Kei who was three.

She ruffled his raven hair and placed him down.

"That's our brother, right?" Akiteru Kita asked.

The two 'lost' children of (y/n) and Kageyama Tobio were taken care of us

I nodded and picked up the small boy with (e/c) eyes. "Yes. He's one of the flower boys at your mother's wedding."

We watched through some weird thing as it showed (y/n) about to walk down the aisle.

"You're the perfect bride for my foolish son," Father Miya said as he fixed (y/n)'s wedding veil, tears in his grayish eyes. "I still remember meeting you for the first time.""

I do too.

Flashback

I was seven years old when I first met (y/n).

"Kita, this is my best friend's granddaughter," Grandma said as she held me up so I could see into the crib.

"How old is he again?" Grandma Hinata asked my grandmother.

"Seven."

"Ah. (y/n)'s four years younger."

I reached my hand into the crib and (y/n) sat up.

"Hoi?" She turned her head to the side, blinking at me with wide (e/c) eyes.

"Hi," I whispered. "I'm Shinsuke Kita."

"Hinata (y/n)," she said.

"They're going to be best friends," Grandma Hinata smiled. "I can already see it."

"Hmm...maybe they'll get married one day," my grandmother said. "Our daughters lucked out. This is generation three of Hinata-Shinsuke friendships. Maybe their children will be the product of them one day."

The next day, (y/n) was dressed in the most adorable white dress. I was matching her in a way.

I glanced at her as she crawled towards me on the picnic blanket, holding a deck of cards.

"Math?" She asked, picking up a card.

"Uh, okay?" I grabbed it from her hand. "Okay, I'll go easy on you since you're three."

Her mother smiled. "Don't hold back, Kita. She's very smart."

I nodded. "Okay. 8+9?"

"Uh...17."

I checked it and nodded. "10+12?"

"22."

As we finish the deck, I looked at her with amazement.

"You're really smart," I said. "I'm also smart."

The next week, she was gone.

"Where did (y/n) go?" I asked my grandmother after praying.

"They went back to Miyagi," Grandma said.

"Awww..."

She patted my head. "They'll be back in four months or so. And we can always call them."

I brightened up. "Okay!"

Then there was a knock on the door.

"Ah, just the people I wanted!" Grandma walked to the front door and I heard excited screaming.

Two identical boys with dark hair ran into me and the one with brown eyes tackled me to the floor.

"Hi! I'm Miya Atsumu, but you can call me Tsumu or Sumu!"

The other pushed his brother off me and helped me up. "Sorry about that. I'm Miya Osamu, but you can call me Samu."

"I'm Shinsuke Kita, but you can call me Kita."

"We just moved next door," Samu said. "We're neighbors!"

"How old are they?" I heard Grandma asking the two adults with them.

"They're six. And already handfulls, though Osamu is keeping his brother in somewhat check," the woman casted a fond smile at us.

Sumu ran towards his father who was holding a ball. "Kitaaaaa! Let's play volleyball in your backyard!"

I looked to my grandmother for permission and she nodded. "Okay."

I soon became best friends with the two and was beyond happy.

But I missed (y/n).

End of Flashback

Kei glanced at me. "Aren't you best friends with Atsumu?"

I nodded. "Yeah. I met them the week after I met (y/n)."

"How long have you known (y/n)?"

I thought a moment. "It was 14 years before I died."

"Oh shit...so you're her childhood friend."

I nodded. "Yeah."

"And how long have you loved her?" Yamaguchi asked.

I looked down, a flush on my face. "Since the day I met her."

The two other glanced at each other.

[Ngl Kita, Kei, Akiteru, and Tobio are in the "Simps-4-(y/n)" club in this book🤣😭]

"Oh shit."

I watched as (y/n) walked down the aisle, a beautiful smile on her face.

My heart thumped against my chest.

You look so beautiful, (y/n).

I saw Atsumu cover his mouth and nose, crying as she walked down the aisle.

A soft smile formed on my face.

They're meant to be.

Flashback: 1 year after he graduated Inarizaki High at the graduation party for the twins

I was talking to Rintarou when I heard someone open the door.

"KITA!!!!"

I turned around and my eyes widened. "(y/n)!!!"

She hugged me tightly and I spun her around. "It's great to see you, Kita!"

"Yeah." I placed her down on the ground. "You look beautiful. Then again, you always do."

"Oh?" She raised an eyebrow playfully. "You're a wholeass meal, Kita."

"Thanks? Want something to drink?"

She shrugged. "Sure."

(y/n) walked with me to a cooler and I handed her an unopened can of soda.

"Damn, if you ever get a girlfriend, she's going to be the luckiest girl ever!"

Oh?

I looked down with a blush. "Yeah...she's the perfect girl."

"Oh! Who is she, Kita? Is she here? How old is she?" (y/n) began looking around.

"(y/n), I like-"

"Look! It's them!" Rintarou walked over to the twins who were walking downstairs.

I saw Atsumu walking towards us and (y/n) spun around too quickly...the soda spilling onto Atsumu's shirt.

"Oh crap!" She frantically grabbed napkins on the table. "I'm so sorry!"

Atsumu was blushing as she tried to clean up the spill. "D-don't worry about it."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm wearing a black shirt in dim lighting. I think I'll be fine," He reassured her.

She looked at him with a huge blush. "Okay, if you insist."

"I'm right here," I crossed my arms. "But I suppose I should introduce you. Hinata (y/n), this is Miya Atsumu."

"So, I hear you're the sister of Hinata Shoyo," he said in a softer voice.

"Yeah. One of them. You can call me (y/n) if you want," She gave him a sweet smile.

He nodded, his heart beating. "Sure, only if you call me Atsumu."

"Okay! Didn't you just graduate?"

Again, he nodded. "Yeah. But I didn't want this huge party. I honestly just wanted to play video games all night."

"I can agree with that," (y/n) said.

I turned back to (y/n), about to confess when I noticed something.

Her form was completely helpless.

I felt my heart breaking.

It was clear Atsumu had taken a liking to (y/n), and it was mutual.

The way they looked at each other was different than the way they talked to anyone else.

And I knew my two best friends well enough to know what was going on.

"Well, I'll leave you to it~" I said as I walked away with a pained smile.

I guess I wasn't satisfying enough.

Rintarou noticed my expression. "Hey, Kita. You alright? Did she reject you?"

Yes.

"Rintarou, have you ever experienced heartbreak without confessing?"

His eyes drifted to where Atsumu and (y/n) were now going upstairs a few minutes later...

"No, but I'm sorry to hear."

I walked up the stairs after them, just in case Atsumu decided to anything sketchy to a fifteen-year-old girl.

I didn't think he would, but just in case.

I pressed my ear to the door and heard the sounds of the video game.

"BOO! You're so mean, (y/n)!" Atsumu cried.

"Sorry not sorry, looser! HAHA! I WIN!"

A single tear streamed down my face as I walked downstairs.

She'll be happier with him.

End of Flashback

I held Akiteru Kita in my arms as I watched Atsumu kiss (y/n) passionately.

Her eyes were like bright beacons of hope.

I always loved staring into her eyes.

Akiteru glanced at me and passed me some tissues after drying his eyes.

Atsumu picked up (y/n) and ran down the aisle, smiles on their faces.

Then we went to the reception hall where Atsumu and (y/n) were dancing together in each other's arms.

Their bodies moved in sync, soft smiles on their faces.

I've never seen them this happy.

I left the room and into the pale moonlight I went.

I glanced up at the cool sky and sighed, closing my eyes.

"At least my best friend is her husband." Another tear streamed down my cheek and fell onto the world and disappeared since I was a ghost.

"She's always going to be in our lives, and deaths," Akiteru and Kei walked out to the balcony.

The three of us stared up at the sky, each of us wishing it could be one of us who (y/n) was married to.

But that wasn't going to happen.

Nice going, Kita.

If they hadn't met, maybe she'd be yours...

I shook those thoughts from my head.

(y/n) was finally happy.

That's all that mattered.

Even when I was alive, I knew that she wasn't for me.

I thought about telling Atsumu, but if I did, he would be heartbroken.

I've never met someone who's as trusting or as kind, even though he can be an asshole sometimes. But he definitely is serious about her.

I knew if I told Atsumu my feelings for (y/n), he would back off.

He'd say he's fine, but I knew him well. He wouldn't be fine.

He would hide the pain with a smile.

Now, I was dead.

"Let's go," Akiteru said.

I watched them disappear like leaves and I stayed a final moment.

(y/n) walked towards the baloncy by herself and stood next me, as if she could see me.

"Kita." She glanced up at the moon. "If you can hear me, I'm sorry. I love you too, but I also love Atsumu and Kei. Maybe in another life we'll be together."

I touched her hand, but my hand went right through.

It was same result when I tried to hug her.

She was so close to me.

I could feel her warm body against my cold ghost form.

This is what true pain is.

Being so close to the one you love and still being so far apart.

I saw Atsumu join her and I backed away.

"(y/n), I wish he were here to see us," the blonde said.

He hugged her tightly.

"But he's happier where he is." (y/n) leaned into his embrace and they looked at the pale moon.

I sighed.

It was time to let go.

I opened my arms and my ghost form began to fade.

Goodbye for now, (y/n).

86 years later

Miya Hinata (y/n) arrived in Heaven.

I saw her eyes and we hugged.

"Kita! It's been too long! I missed you."

"Me too." I held her close, happy that she was with me at last.

But when she saw Kei, I knew she wasn't in love with me. No, she wasn't.

I watched her with Kei, a satisfied smile on my face.

Even if I'm just with you as your best friend, I'm still happy that I'm in your life.
