Johns POV
I was leaving my last class as I got a text from Alex,

Non-stop:
Hi John! After classes do you want to get some boba tea?
                                                          TurtleBoi:
                                         Sure! That sounds great!
Non-stop: Great! See you then.

I put my phone in my pocket and smiled. Alex had told me once that he always wanted to try boba tea but never got the chance to. (A/n boba tea is so good)
Later
I got to the boba tea place Alex and I agreed to meet at. We ordered and talked for awhile, occasionally looking at our phones,until someone walked in. That someone was Jefferson, and he walked up to our table. Oh no. Jefferson always flirted with me, no matter how many times I've said I'm not interested. It's probably my fault... maybe I'm not clear enough?

"Hey, I don't have a library card, but do you mind if I check you out?"

"Not today, Satan."

At that moment, I grabbed Alex and our tea, and ran Naruto-style out of the shop. I was not going let Jefferson ruin my day. After we got a good distance away from the shop, Alex asked,

"Why was Jefferson here and why was he flirting with you?"

"My dear friend,he's Jefferson, he flirts with everyone."

"That's true..."

I suddenly got a text from the group chat.

              SomeOtherKindOfRoll had changed their name to 'The Lorb'

TheLorb:

TheLorb: According to filmcow, the best orb is the Lorb, so I am the Lorb now.

ALivingMeme: Peggy no

TheLorb: Peggy yES

TheLorb: also how's your date with Alex going?

ALivingMeme: 1. How did you know about that? 2. it's noT A DATE

TheLorb: 1. Alex has been sending Snapchats 2. Boi accept your gayness.

LargeBaguette: I agree with peggy. It's totally a date.

I looked over at Alex, who was blushing a bit, whilst I was blushing furiously.

Nonstop: Peggy, you uneducated spoon, you've turned my dear Laurens into a tomato

TheLorb: he cALLED HIM DEAR IT'S OFFICIAL

LargeBaguette: OH MERDE THE SHIP ACTUALLY SAILED

I was blushing even more now. But I knew Alex was only joking. Someone like him could never like someone like me. But it's a nice thought, him and me, together.

"Hey John, you want to go home and watch The Office?"

"Alex, I always want to watch The Office."
