Kyungwoo had suddenly excused himself from Byunghoon and Kyungmin and when I asked where he was going he smiled and told me, "It's raining outside. Umbrella. Juyoung. Jarim."

And knew right away that he just came up with an idea on how to get Juyoung closer to Jarim.

Then when Kyungwoo left, Kyungmins spoke up, "Is it just me or is Kyungwoo playing as Cupid for Juyoung?"

I looked over at him and noticed that he has a point. "He's Juyoung's best friend," I pointed out. "It's just natural for him to help."

"But what about you?" Kyungmin asked with a confused tone. "If he can see how obvious Juyoung likes Jarim, how come he has never once noticed your feelings for him?"

I bit my bottom lip at his question and shrugged. 

Then Byunghoon answered, "They've been doing skinship for a long time now. So maybe that's why whenever Hana would give him a hug or if the two would absentmindedly start to hold hands, Kyungwoo wouldn't suspect a thing because they've been friends since they were babies."

"Byunghoon, I'm right here," I spoke up giving him a death glare while Kyungmin was covering his mouth to stop himself from laughing.

Then Kyungwoo came back but he was breathing heavily like he just returned back from a marathon.

"Um, are you okay?" I asked while walking over to him.

"I... Need... Help..." Kyungwoo said in between breaths.

I raised my left eyebrow in confusion and asked, "With what?"

Then he stood up straight and gave me an innocent smile. "Umbrellas," He answered.

"Remind me why I have to talk to Minji?" I asked, wanting to puke right on the spot.

"To distract her of course," Kyungwoo replied back as we casually walked down the hallway with Byunghoon and Kyungmin on out of our sides.

Then I heard Byunghoon whispering beside me, "And I thought you said, 'it's not like I don't like Minji'..."

I rolled my eyes at him and hit my elbow on his side, making him grunt in pain. "I just find her annoying. That's all," I whispered back.

Then we all stopped right outside the classroom.

"Alright, remember the plan, Hana?" Kyungwoo asked me quietly as we spotted the two friends of Jarim over at their desks.

I nodded my head. "Yeah. Just talk to them while you three go and tell Juyoung your plan with the umbrella."

"Great!" The tall boy exclaimed before he and our other two friends went to find Juyoung. But before he left, he patted my head and whispered with a smirk, "Good luck."

I bit the insides of my cheeks from blushing but I was not that type of person who could stop my cheeks from turning tomato red.

"Minji, I have a question," I called out while walking inside my classroom.

"What is it, Hana?" Minji asked with a curious look.

I scratched the back of my neck and started acting. "What's the number of Pi?"

Minji looked a little taken back from my question and looked over at Oh Ahram for help.

"You know what nevermind," I spoke up while taking my phone out. "I can just Google it-"

"Wait!" Minji exclaimed while taking her calculator out. "I know the answer. Just give me a minute."

And so I gave her a minute, but she didn't answer. Then I sighed and spoke up, "Forget it, Minji. I'll just look it up online."

"Is this for Physics?" Ahram asked with a lollipop in her hand.

"Uh... Yeah," I answered while placing my hands on my back.

"Then instead of checking it online, why not look it up in the books?" Ahram suggested.

"Because it would be cheating if we use Google," Minji added in.

I raised my left eyebrows at her and asked, "How is it cheating? It's not like we're answering a test right now."

"But still," Minji pushed on and stood up. Then she added in, "Come on, girls! Let's go to the library!"

Great... Why did I bother helping Kyungwoo with his plan again?

I decided to just leave the two behind in the library after getting a text from Kyungwoo, telling me that he is planning to take Minji and Ahram's umbrellas away so that if Jarim would ask to borrow one from them, they wouldn't be able to give her one since their umbrellas will be with Byunghoon and Kyungmin in Juyoung's classroom. I literally had to bite my lip from laughing out loud. Just imagining how the two girls' will react later placed me in a good mood. So I quietly snuck out of the library and met up with Kyungwoo back in our classrooms. I see him taking the girls' umbrellas and giving it to our two other friends in a hurry.

"You're back!" Kyungwoo called out when seeing me.

I gave him a salute and said, "Minji and Ahram are still in the library. So you're all good."

Kyungwoo chuckled and walked over to me. 

Then he patted my head while telling me, "Good job, Yoonhan!" And he looked back at Byunghoon and Kyungmin while I turned my head to hide my blush.

Damn you, Lee  Kyungwo...

I sighed and suddenly heard Ahram's voice from down the hallway. My eyes went wide and then  I quickly ran over to Byunghoon and Kyungmin while grabbing both of their wrists. I started to pull them to the front door of the classroom and looked over at Kyungwoo.

Then I whispered-shouted at him, "Sit on your chair and play some games on your phone. Now!"

Kyungwoo understood right away and then Byunghoon, Kyungmin, and I left right away back to Juyoung's classroom.

"Should we just take the taxi?" I heard Minij asking Jarim as Kyungwoo and I pushed Juyoung to the main entrance of the school.

"Forget it," Jarim answered her friend, the rain getting heavier. "The bus station is close by."

"Come on, Gongju," I whispered while poking Juyoung's back. 

Then Kyungwoo gave him a push and whispered, "Go."

Juyoung then walked out to where the three girls are at and opened the black umbrella that belonged to Kyungmin. But as he got closer to Jarim, I noticed the short hair girl started to pull her hoodie on. I raised my left eyebrow and realized that Juyoung didn't make it in time.

And I was right.

Because the next thing that I know is Jarim running under the rain with just her hoodie while Juyoung stood in shock with the open umbrella. But Juyoung didn't give up.

"Yah! Wang Jarim!" He called out and started to run after her with the black umbrella.

"And there goes the so-called romantic plan," I told Kyungwoo but the tall boy was nowhere near me anymore. 

I looked back at where Minji and Ahram are at and saw Kyungwoo sneaking behind them with their umbrellas. I facepalmed myself and shook my head.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you~" I quietly said while putting up my hoodie and walking out into the cold air.

"You were the umbrella thief," Minji said with her hand on his shoulder.

"Isn't it obvious?" I called out, earning a shocked look from Kyungwoo.

I shrugged at him and crossed my arms over my chest. Then Ahram joined in while pointing at me.

"Yah! You left me and Minji in the library!" She exclaimed with her infamous death glare.

I just smiled at her while walking over to Kyungwoo and Minji. Then I pushed Minji's arm off of Kyungwoo and said, "Mind you, but I need Kyungwoo's help."

"With what?" Minji asked, but before I could answer her Ahram told her to carry her bag.

Then the next thing that I know she's asking us, "Do you two want to come here, or should I go there?" And then her fist came flying at me but just when I was about to dodge her punch, Kyugnwoo stepped in and gets hit instead.

My eyes went wide at what just happened.

Ahram placed her backpack on her back with Minji's help thinking that it was over.

"YAH!" I yelled while handing my bag over to Kyungmin who just showed up with Byunghoon who is helping Kyungwoo back on his feet. 

The other two girls looked back at me with confusion written on their faces.

"What now, Hana?" Minji asked, her arms cross over her chest. "Do you also want to get beaten up by Ahram?"

I raised my left eyebrow at the two and replied back, "From what I know, Ahram is an MMA fighter under training, and students who are athletes under such sports like Ahram's are forbidden from starting fights and being in one. What do you think will happen once the school finds out that their student had punched their classmate?"

Ahram's face went pale while Minji glared at me.

"You wouldn't dare," the latter one spoke up.

I smirked and took a step forward. "Try me."

"Minji, come on," Ahram spoke up while grabbing their umbrellas. "Let's just go."

"You didn't have to do that, you know," Kyungwoo spoke up as we walked down the street to our usual hangout- that is not the PC cafe, but a small restaurant where the boys and I used to eat after school.

The rain hasn't stopped yet, so instead of going back home, Kyungwoo had decided to pay back to Minji and Ahram by buying them dinner. I looked forward and watched as Byunghoon shared his umbrella with Kyungmin while Minji and Ahram are walking behind them with their own umbrellas. Then I looked up to my side to face Kyungwoo.

"You deserved that punch," I replied back, earning an eye roll from him.

Then I added, "But not from Ahram. I was planning to punch you after-"

"Is this how you comfort people?" Kyungwoo cuts in which made me laugh softly.

"Maybe it's my new way of comforting," I joked with a shrug.

Then I hear the thunder and moved closer to Kyungwoo. I heard him sigh and the next thing that I know, his right arm is wrapped around my shoulders while his left arm held onto the umbrella above our heads.

"That night from 10 years ago..." Kyungwoo whispered.

"What about it?" I whispered back.

Then Kyungwoo stopped walking and made me face him. "I'm sorry for leaving you behind."

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and was going to ask by what he had meant but then I remembered an old memory from when we were seven years old.

I'll finish episode 2 tomorrow after my online class. oof.

so my morning classes were async today 😑

meaning, I could have slept until 11 am and not have woken up at 7 am... ughhhh damn, my professors...

but eyyy here is the updated version of chapter 6!

also, Hana isn't that close to Minji and Ahram, so she barely knows them that's why she still finds them irritating... although, because Juyoung likes Jarim, she has given an exception to the other girl. 😊 but I can't say that Hana and Minji will be on any good terms in the next many chapters hehe
