It has been a few days since that incident. I find her a little off since then. I tried to ask her about that day twice or thrice but she always changed the topic. Maa asked me take a off as we have to go to wedding shopping particularly for our wedding outfits. Anaisha, her mom and bhabhi will also be joining us.

I along with Maa and Chachi left for the mall. Her family was already there, they were looking dresses for other functions I guess.

The store manager came to welcome us and asked about our preferences.

Sir, We have an exclusive collections for couples with matching outfits curated for different functions.

Won't matching outfits in every function would be too much? she said

Mam, please see our collection then you decide. We have a huge collection for wedding outfits.

Ok show us.

We all went to the upper floor and that was specifically meant for wedding outfits.

As soon as we went to the upper floor. I was fascinated by there collection everything was so blingy. First we begin looking for the main outfit, MY WEDDING DRESS. I wanted a dark coloured lehnga that was my only requirement. They showed us quite a few but nothing caught my eye. 

I was roaming around the store when my eyes struck on a dress that was maroonish mixed with shades of pink and red. I called everyone there and showed them the dress.

Wow Ish, this is beautiful and it will look a 1000 times better on you.

Yes you are right divy, my daughter-in-law will look like a queen.

Mam do you want to try this out? asked the sales women.

I agreed but upon seeing the blouse my excitement came to zero. It was backless and I don't like wearing backless.

Maa, I looked at her with puppy eyes. She understood my concern. But still we both went to the changing room.

Maa, How will I wear this?

We will get this covered, for now wear this and I will cover your back with this duppatta. 

I wore the dress and it looked beautiful on me. As if it was meant for me. Maa covered my back and I came out to show everybody.

His reaction was priceless. He was looking at me with so much appreciation and love. Everyone loved the dress and we decided to finalize it.

Then we began the hunt for his sherwani, since my lehnga was single piece and no matching sherwani was for it. We began looking at individual pieces.

We liked a few pieces for him but nothing matched his personality until this one was looking amazing and we finalized it as well.

Maa asked the tailor to fix my blouse and cover the back. 

Then we bought outfits for all our functions, it was indeed a tiring day. He took all of us for a late lunch as it was already 4. We stuffed our stomachs with food and left for our home.

Today was the first day of the wedding shopping and I am already tired. God knows what will happen in next few days. Tomorrow again, we will be going for shopping to get some ethnic clothes to wear after marriage. 

Maa told me that she got a sprain in her back and asked me to go shopping with Vyan.

I called and asked him to accompany me. He agreed after all he needs reasons to be around me. I was checking for my scheduled classes tomorrow then I got a message from my same college friend inviting me to her wedding after 3 days.

I don't know but I got a little scared to go there. I was too weak to face my past. But she kept on insisting, so I had to agree. I will take bhaiya along then everything will be safe I guess.

I slept after chatting with him for some time.

My wedding preparations has affected my work but Dad and Chachu are there to handle everything and I am really grateful for that. Today me and Anaisha are going to shopping alone. 

I went to pick her up to the university. I saw Piya talking to a boy, she looked a little pale but I washed off the useless thoughts and waited for my Ish.

She came out with her friend who was teasing her that was clear by her expressions. I stepped out of the car and opened the passenger door for  her. She is my Passenger princess.

Chale madam? (Should we go?)

We came to a mall and I noticed that she always keep her hair open. She looks beautiful in this look but I wish to see her in a bun.

Ish, Can I ask you something?

I was shocked from his question. As if everything is over now. I felt as if my lie was caught and I was in a turmoil. What should I answer him?

What happened to you Ish? I was just asking like that. It is completely your wish.

I let out a deep breath and calmed my self. Suddenly a girl went by me, pushing me into him. He gently placed his hand on my waist and I felt a sense of comfort, I gave him a smile looking up in his dark orbs. He pulled me a little closer and we went around the mall. We did find some suit sets. I made sure they are fully covered from the back.

I want to go the Hamleys.

You got kids at home?

No Vyan, I love going there but Maa she always refuse me to buy useless stuff.

So you agree you are going there for useless stuff?

It is useless in her words but not mine. Please Vyan can we go there?

 I saw him with puppy eyes and eventually he agreed. I got so excited there that I gave all my bags to him and ran to the stuff toy section. I love plushies a lot. He came behind me with all the bags.

I bought two plushies, one for myself and one for him. Afterall after marriage that will also be mine and he dropped me home.
