"Just come to Balcony." He said and hung up the phone. 

I felt goosebumps on my arms and legs and everywhere. I felt shivers running down my spine. He is going to make it or break it.

Just calm down Anaisha.

I took small steps to the balcony and stepped in. A cold wave touched my skin and I shivered with coldness. It was jet black outside. Why he called me here? As I thought, I felt a cold pair of hands on my shoulders. IT WAS HIM! I knew his touch.

Without any second thoughts, I hugged him and buried my head in his chest. I don't when tears begin to flow and I was clutching his t-shirt. He lifted me in air and took me inside after closing the balcony door.

I was crying uncontrollably. He made me sit on the bed but I was not ready to leave him.

"Ish, Don't cry. I can't see you like this. Just calm down." He said while caressing my back as I was still clung to him.

Slowly I stopped crying and broke the hug.

"I thought you would leave me." I said in a baby kind of voice.

"I can never think of leaving you my baby." He said while holding my hand tight.

"But.." He cut me with his words.

"There are no buts and ifs. That all happened in the heat of the moment, I didn't want to hurt you and I know I did and I am really sorry for that MY ISH."

"It's okay Vyan and whatever happened we will sort it out together." I said while tightening my hold on his hand.

"Ish, What's that hn? I left you alone for some time and you hurt yourself?" He said caressing my forehead.

"It's nothing Vyan. It will get better till our wedding." I said.

"I think you should go now." I said after minutes of silence.

He nodded and left from the balcony.

 I was relieved. 

I was happy.

And I was excited to get married ASAP.

I got back in my bed and slept again. I woke up to get ready for my haldi function.

Piya and her few cousins came to meet us in the haldi function and they brought the auspicious haldi which is supposed to be brought from groom's house.

She smiled seeing me and I nodded while smiling.

I saw Nikhil glancing at her and so she was. I think they actually love each other. But isn't very early to get married, she just completed her studies and my stupid brother is still struggling for job as he has no interest in our family business.

After sidelining all these thoughts, I went to my room to clean all the mess that my cousins have curated. I took a long relaxing shower and changed into comfy clothes.

I went down after taking the bath and we have no more rituals left now. I was sitting on the sofa, eating some nuts when my father's sister, Bua (Aunt) called me in the guest room. I don't know what's wrong with her now?

She was sitting there along with her newly married daughter who already got pregnant in a month.

"Anu I must give you an advise. You should never stop your husband whatever he wishes to do on the wedding night. It's every girl's fate and you can't deny that. You also get pregnant as soon as possible just like my daughter." She said in her irritating voice.

I was so shocked after hearing her words. I didn't realize until today that I have to fulfill his wishes too. Despite being in a relationship in past I drew clear boundaries and he respected me for that. But now I have to surrender myself. I was scared. I just hummed and left from there.

As I went back to my room, I accidently heard Bhabhi's voice coming from their room as it is beside my room. Not wanting to hear further, I came in my room and covered my ears with my hands.

It was not first time I heard them doing it but today I was scared. What if he forces me? Why I am doubting him again? Just calm down Anaisha. Everything will be good.

I decided onto sleeping for some time avoiding my unnecessary thoughts.

As I saw myself in the mirror decked up in my wedding sherwani, Dad came in asking me to come down for Baarat. After performing some rituals, we reached the marriage hall and her family welcomed us wholeheartedly.

I saw her coming down the aisle. She was looking like a goddess in her deep maroon wedding lehnga while the sunset complimented her glowing face. As she approached me with small steps and looked into my eyes. I fell for her instantly.

I was on cloud nine, I have the most beautiful bride ever. I helped her on the stage and whispered in her ear, "You look gorgeous princess." and blush crept on her already red cheeks. She murmured a Thanks and we took the flower garlands in our hands. Exchanging the garlands we went for our couple photoshoot followed by pictures with our guests.

Upon having our dinner, we went for the final wedding rituals.

As we began to move around the sacred fire. We took our first vow to respect each other and to follow our duties towards one another (Dharma and Respect),

Followed by the next one to be each other's strength and face the life as a team (Strength and Support).

The third vow is to share our happiness and willingness to make sacrifices for our family (Prosperity and Sacrifice).

She followed me for the next round as we promised each other to build up our family with love and care (Offspring and Nurturing).

I took her hand and followed her for next three rounds, promising each other to be faithful and follow our marital vows (Sense of Duty and Fidelity) in the fifth vow, to grow together and achieve our goals (Well-being and growth) in the sixth vow and to become one soul and be together forever in this sacred union (Unity and Oneness) in the last one.

As we took our seats, I bent towards her in order to tie the sacred chain (mangalsutra) around her neck. My fingers lingered on her soft neck for a few moments before tying it. A tear rolled on her face and she quickly wiped it.

I took a pinch of Vermillion in my hand and filled her hair parting. I kissed her forehead before whispering, "I am yours to love, to irritate and to eat."

A blush crept on her face and she is now Mrs. Divyansh Mehrotra.

Finally they are married!!
