Change of Heart

From here on, I'm not gonna try to replicate the accents. I can never get them quite right, so just use your imagination, lovees!~(:
------------------------
After a meal of delicious pasta and pork dumplings, I decided that I needed some air. I waited until Germany was distracted, then walked out on the front porch. The day had darkened, small sparkles of lights scattering the black sky. The moon pierced the thick blanket of dark, like a bleach stain. I ran my fingers along the wooden column, staring into the sky in wonder. My thoughts wandered, mostly to my brother. Did he know I was gone? Was he even home? I sighed, sitting down on the concrete edge of the porch, letting my feet dangle. I have no idea how long I sat there, entranced in my thoughts. But, a sharp shake of my shoulder brought threw me back into reality. I whipped around, being captured by those crystal eyes again. Ludwig chuckled at my surprise, "Did I scare you, Frau?" I stuck my bottom lip out and crossed my arms, "No... ok, maybe!" He laughed again, then calmed. Sitting beside me, he straightened his toned body, and look up to the stars. The moonlight seemed to dance across his pale skin, skittering down his neck to blend into his black tank top. I studied his toned arms, leading to his large hands. Long, slender fingers pressed flat onto the rough concrete. The same fingers that had given me the mark on my neck, the bruise that would dawn m skin for a while. Reaching up, I unknowingly placed my fingers onto the hot, purple mark, shivering slightly. Ludwig took my hand, startling me a bit. He moved my digits from the mark, replacing the fingers with his own. A chill ran down my spine, the cool feeling of his rough fingertips against my skin exciting me suddenly. He cupped my cheek with the other hand, moving my head to get a better view of my wound. His deep, thick accent rang softy, "Frau... I'm so sorry..." I reached up, taking the hand on my cheek. "It's alright, Ludwig. I'm fine." I smiled. "No, it's not alright... I hurt someone so delicate, so innocent. And I honestly believed you were just like France. But seeing you talking to Italy and Japan, seeing that bright smile that seems to glitter with pure joy. It made me realize my mistake. I'm sorry, Frau. Will you forgive me?" I gave his hand a light squeeze, "Of course I do. I forgive you, Ludwig." He smiled, taking each of my hands in his and holding them in front of our bodies. He kissed each one gently, his soft lips brushing my skin ever so slightly. "Thank you, Frau," He stood up, "Tomorrow, I'll wake you up early to take you to the clinic. Then, I will personally return you home." I smiled. He helped me stand, then we walked inside together. Feliciano and Kiku both sat in the living space. Felici played with a large tomato in the middle of the floor, while Kiku observed with a monotone expression. They both turned when we entered, eyes widening in surprise. "Bella!" Felici cried, throwing his hands to the ceiling. I giggled, "Bonjour, Felici!" I mimicked his actions. Ludwig chuckled, then called Kiku in to the kitchen to speak to him privately. Felici sat on the couch in the middle of the room, then patted the seat next to him. I complied, taking the seat and smiling at him. But, it was short lasted, as he began to tickle my sides. I laughed, pushing away. Then, he tackled me, pinning me down and tickling me, all the while crying, "Bella! Bella!" I jerked and laughed, hot tears rolling down my cheeks. "F-Fe-Felici! Stop! St-Hahahaop!" I yelled, gasping in between laughs. He continued to tickle me, commanding that I call mercy. "M-mercy, F-F-Felici! Mercy!" I cried. He released me, but stayed straddled above me. I lauded against the couch, panting and sweaty. My hair sprawled around me, clinging to my moist arms. Felici chuckled, "Ve~ Sorry, Bella. Your just too cute. I can see what Germany sees in you, now." I froze, then locked eyes with him. "What do you mean?" He stiffened, laughing nervously, "Ah, nothing! Nothing!" he waved he hands in front of him. I sighed, sitting up and brushing him back to his side of the couch. Suddenly, a soft tune played in my mind, and I began to hum. Closing my eyes, I whispered the lyrics.

'I've seen fire and I've seen rain.
I've seen sunny days I thought would never end. I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend. But I always thought that I'd see you again.'

I stopped, dragging the last note out. Jumping slightly as I heard loud claps, I snapped my eyes open. In the doorway stood Kiku and Ludwig, hands clapping calmly. Feliciano's hands flew together wildly, "Bravo! Bravo!" I blushed, sinking into my seat. Ludwig cleared his throat loudly, demanding attention. Producing four different bottles from behind him, he spoke. "I have spoken to Japan, and since we have worked so hard this past month, let us celebrate!" He gave a bottle to Kiku, then set the other three on the table in front of the couch. Felici snatched a green bottle, "Ve~ Red wine! Grazi, Germany!" Germany reclaimed one of the clear bottles, filled with a bronze liquid, "Yes, Italy. Sake for Japan, wine for you, beer for me, and for the Frau," He placed the bottle in my hands, "You seem like a whiskey woman." He gave me a small wink. I read the label, popped the cork, and took a whiff of the alcohol. "My, interesting you'd say I take a stronger drink than you." I mocked jokingly. He scoffed, "Is that a challenge I hear?" "You bet you German ass it is. Think you can down more than me?" I mocked. He grinned, "Alright, Frau. Bring it on!"
