"If ignorance is bliss why do we seek knowledge?"

 Because we are social beings and if ignorance was the norm humans could've never come this far.But in terms of like other sort of knowledge like it's complicated, there are some things that are better left unknown and others that should be common knowledgeI think even if we enjoy being ignorant our instincts are always curious like we always have that question why for everything.Ignorance is building a bubble around yourself and telling yourself everything is fine Knowledge is daring to step out and accept what's really out there.Which is difficult, it ain't bliss but now you know what's coming and can be ya know real and honest to yourself.Cause what's the point of a joy that doesn't come from within, there might that nagging thought that this isn't real.( but again you can argue that what is real even and what happiness is true happiness and stuff but that's another topicalso it depends on the person, like are you okay with creating your own world and living in it, or do you need validation from others to feel content, do you value happiness over truth, what are your priorities)I would say this,ignorance is bliss but knowledge is peace.
