"Where do you guys think we should eat? Or am I the only one hungry?" Sean asks.

"I don't know, I'm feeling for Chinese I think." Maeve says and then she looks to her boyfriend, Owen. 

"Mae, we just had Chinese. I kinda want pasta." Owen says.

"I agree with Maeve, Chinese sounds good right about now." Sean says and then rubs his belly.

"I could go for some pasta though." Jade says.

"Your say doesn't count, you're a vegetarian." Sean says and crosses his arms.

"I am not! I said I was raised as one, sheesh Sean." Jade says exasperatedly and Sean rolls his eyes.

"Yeah okay." He mumbles. 

"Alright you two, I think Chinese is good." Kira, Jack's girlfriend, says. 

"Riele what do you want?" Maeve asks and everyone turns to me.

"It doesn't matter although I really think we should wait until Jack and Jace get here because if anything I know Jace has definitely worked up an appetite after that game." I say, being the voice of reason. Everyone just nods.

"That's pretty smart. You're way better than Jace's ex. Usually she'd just try to reason out loud what she wanted and it came off as her trying too hard to impress us." Jade says and then everyone looks at her.

"Jade!" They all shout. 

"What?" She asks. Maeve rolls her eyes while everyone else just sighs.

"Jade, honey Riele and Jace aren't dating. You're comparing Jace introducing Fallen as his girlfriend to Jace introducing Riele as this really cool new friend of his. That's not the same thing Jade." Kira explains and Jade goes 'ohhhh' for a few seconds.

"Well still, Riele has a better personality than Fallen." Jade says.

"I think that we all agree on." Sean says and everyone nods.

"Well thanks." I say with a smile. Just then Jace and Jack run up over to us with their bags in their hands.

"You guys played really good tonight." Kira says mainly more to Jack than the both of them. She moves to hug Jack and kisses his cheek.

"Thanks baby." Jack says.

"The other team seemed to be a little too rough, I saw how hard they were being on you Jace, you okay?" Maeve voices with concern.

"Yeah, one of them got my shoulder real good but I'm fine otherwise. I think they were more surprised at the fact that I didn't get knocked over." Jace says as he moves his free left hand to rub his right shoulder. 

"I should go fight them! Anyways, what do you guys want to eat?" Jade says.

"Taco Bell." They both answer.

"What?! No that wasn't even a choice!" Maeve shouts.

"Baby chill, we didn't give them choices." Owen says and Maeve rolls her eyes.

"Whatever how about we all split up, get our food and just eat at someone's place?" Maeve says.

"Who has their car?" Jade asks and they all start to work out arrangements.

"Riele what do you want to eat?" Jace turns to me and asks.

"I'm not really hungry but I could go for a taco or five." I say and Jace laughs at me. 

"Alright cool so you'll stick with me, that's all I needed to know." Jace says and then turns back to pay attention to everyone else. Ooo this kid gone get me in trouble.

"Okay so one car to Taco Bell, one to the Chinese restaurant and one to that little pasta spot." Owen says and everyone nods.

"Who are our drivers?" Jade asks.

"Well I'm driving my car." Jace says.

"Kira can drive mine." Jack says.

"And I'll drive mine." Owen says. 

"Alright to the cars!" Sean declares and we all follow suit. Once we get to Jace's car I move to open the back door since Jace and Jack were having a seemingly interesting conversation about the apartment Jace told me about earlier.

"Riele what are you doing?" Jack asks looking at me as I open my door.

"Getting in the car." I say and Jack rolls his eyes.

"Sit in the front, I'll take the back." Jack says.

"Oh okay, thanks." I say and he nods. We all get in the car and Jack starts up talking again.

"The other two homes are pretty nice though. They're both 2 floors but one has 2 bedrooms on the first floor and the other only has 1." Jack says. Jace nods his head and starts to pull out.

"Tell me what I'm looking for." Jace says.

"Well they both have pools and believe it or not the one with 2 bedrooms on the bottom floor has more space. If we get that one then we can all have a room and a guest bedroom. " Jack says.

"We can check them out this weekend if you want." Jack offers.

"Riele is that cool?" Jace asks me, looking at me briefly.

"Yeah sure, do you want me to come or stay home?" I ask him. It wouldn't really make sense to go with them, I only just met everyone.

"You have to come! We need your input! Please come." Jack says nearly shocking me.

"Okay sure but why me? I just met everyone today." I ask. I didn't think I had made a good impression on anyone, especially Jack I spent the least amount of time around him. 

"You're part of the fam bro! Oh wait um sis? Nah that sounds weird, I'll stick with bro. Plus you even us out 3 guys and 3 girls and and if you have a room and stay there occasionally the girls might consider moving in so we need you to butter them up but still be in cahoots with us. Feel me?" Jack says and I just laugh while Jace just smiles and tries to hold in his laughter. I turn back to look at Jack's smiling face.

"Okay yeah I feel ya, I got it. I'm in." I say after I calm down.

"Yes! Ow!" Jack shouts as he fist pumps and hits his hand. 

"Alright what do you guys want?" Jace asks as he pulls into Taco Bell. 

"Oooo just get me 3 crunchy taco supremes and 3 double decker tacos." Jack says.

"Hey we never determined whose house we're going to. Jack can you call up Owen and Kira and try to work out whose house to go to?" I say.

"Damn, good thing you caught that." Jace says.

"I'm on it. Super Jack to the rescue." Jack says.

"Ri what do you want?" Jace asks me.

"Um 3 crunchy tacos and a cheesy gordita crunch." I say. 

"What do you guys want to drink?" Jace asks.

"Lemonade." Jack and I both say. Without turning around I put my hand back for a high five which I received instantly. Jace pulls up to order at the same time Jack gets everyone on his phone. I just pull out my phone to keep me busy. Jace pulls away after saying thanks at the same time Jack says bye.

"We're going to Kira's apartment." Jack says.

"Alright, Ri can you open the glove compartment and look for $20." Jace says. I nod and do what he says.

"Nah, I'll pay. I got money right here." Jack says as he slides up $30. 

"Alright man, you win this time." Jace says as he takes the cash from Jack.

"Ha!" Jack calls and Jace pulls up to the window. He hands over the money and we wait patiently for the food.

"Can we have some music?" Jack asks and Jace rolls his eyes and hands Jack the aux cord.

"Don't play no gay shit Jack." Jace says and I laugh.

"I won't, chill bro. You know my music liiittttt."Jack says just as the song That's My Girl plays.

"Jack!" Jace yells and I laugh. The music immediately stops.

"Sorry, I swear Kira put that on there." Jack says and this time Work From Home plays.

"Alright whatever man." Jace says just as the food gets passed to him. 

"Thanks, have a good night." Jace says to the guy at the window as he takes the bags and passes them to me. I take them and Jace pulls off.

"Alright so anyone want to go home? Nope. How about we play a game?" Sean says.

"I'm down. Let's play sleep." Jack says and I high five him.

"Hey you two cut it out." Kira says, Jack and I have been going at it like brother and sister. Currently we're all sitting in her living room. Jack, Kira, Owen and Maeve are on the couch, Sean is in a chair while Jace and I are on the floor.

"What should we play?" Owen asks.

"Truth or dare." Sean says.

"Nuh uh, last time we played these couples went on strike." Jade says and Maeve agrees.

"Okay but that was a long time ago. Let's try it again." Sean whines.

"Fine, everyone on the floor!" Kira says and they all get up to join Jace and I on the floor. Jack moves the coffee table and we all sit in this sort of oval rectangle shape. 

"Me first. Jack, truth or dare." Sean says.

"I'm being smart, dare."Jack says.

"Wait, why don't you want to tell the truth?" Kira questions and Jack groans.

"Last time I chose truth you got disgusted with me, do you want to go through that again?" Jack questions. Kira blushes and shakes her head no.

"Alright go drink some of the diablo taco sauce." Sean says and Jack groans.

"I love you all, time to die." Jack says and then gets up, we all follow him and I pull out my phone. He drinks the sauce, freaks out and we all laugh. The best part is I got it all on snap. After 5 minutes we've all calmed down and are back in our spots.

"I'm getting feeling back. Owen truth or dare?" Jack asks.

"Truth." Owen answers plainly.

"If you weren't dating Maeve, who would you try to get with?" Jack asks and Owen's eyes go wide.

"Oh bro you're a sell out." Owen says and Jack laughs.

"Answer the question Owen!" Maeve yells.

"I mentioned a while back if I hadn't met you I could see myself with Jade because she's kind of like you." Owen grumbles.

"Oh okay, I could see us together." Jade says. Maeve slaps her on the arm.

"Ouch, sorry. Not my fault your man might like me." Jade mumbles.

"Jade! Uncalled for! Someone switch seats with me!" Maeve yells. Kira moves from her spot in between Jack and Sean to sit between Jade and Owen. 

"Alright well Maeve truth or dare."Owen says.

"Dare." Maeve says rolling her eyes.

"I dare you to bring your butt back here." Owen says and Maeve rolls her eyes as she and Kira switch seats. Owen hugs her and snuggles his face in her neck.

"Kira, truth or dare?" Maeve says.

"Dare." Kira answers.

"I dare you to kiss Jack." Maeve says.

"He's got all that hot sauce stuff all in his face. I hate the taste of it." Kira cried out.

"Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it!" Jace, Jade, Jack, Owen,  Sean and I cheer. Kira scrunches up her face in disgust and pecks Jack on the lips but he opens his mouth and Kira pulls away.

"Eww eww the taste oh my gosh ewww!" Kira squeals and runs off to the kitchen. The sink immediately starts running and we all die of laughter at her reaction except Jack of course who just sits there happy.

"Okay that was nasty, Jace truth or dare?" Kira asks.

"Truth." Jace says all chill like.

"How do you feel about dating?"Kira asks. Jace lays down over my legs before answering.

"I mean honestly I just want to date for fun. I'm ready to date again but I'm not quite up for something serious but if it happens then damn all that." Jace says as he makes himself comfy on my thighs. 

"Jace you are literally so sweet. Jack you need to be more like that!" Kira says as she thumps Jack.

"You too Owen." Maeve says but she slaps him upside the head. Both guys grumble.

"Ri, truth or dare?" Jace says to me. 

"Uh truth?" I question.

"Naw come on choose dare." Jace says and I roll my eyes.

"Fine, dare." I say. He smiles and I roll my eyes.

"I dare you to give me a head massage and kiss me goodnight." I think I hear Jace say. My eyes go wide and I notice everyone looking at me as if they only heard the first part. I look down at Jace and he just winks then faces everyone else. Did I imagine that last part? I must have. I just start to play in Jace's hair. 

"Jade truth or dare." I question.

"Truth." She says with a smile.

"How do you honestly feel about Sean?" I ask and she blushes immediately.

"Well he's a really great guy. He's sweet, funny, always makes me smile, he's good-looking and has the best curls ever. He's got this air around him that just-"Jade goes on but I cut her off.

"Jaaaade you're evading the questiooonnn. How do you feel about Sean not describe Sean." I sing out a little.

"Okay okay fine, I like Sean. I feel like he's honestly the best part of my day when he's around and I can't help but find myself feeling like he's well perfect in my eyes." Jade admits and I smile. Everyone is shocked except Jace and I. Jade takes a deep breath and looks across the rectangle thing at Sean.

"Sean how do you feel about me?" Jade asks which now shocks Jace and I. Sean opens his mouth but says nothing. He closes his mouth and looks around the room. Jade's face drops and she starts to move.

"Jade you're amazing. I never thought you'd feel that way about me. But I'm glad you do, I've liked you since we met. I just figured you wouldn't go for a dork like me." Sean voices and Jade laughs.

"And here I was thinking I was stupid to ask." Jade says and Sean smiles.

"Want to go out with me tomorrow and see where this leads us?" Sean asks with a crooked smile. Jade smiles wide and nods her head.

"I'd like that very much." Jade says right before she practically tackles Sean in a hug.

"What can I say? I make things happen." I say smugly and everyone looks at me.

"Hell, where were you when I was trying to get with Kira?" Jack asks.

"Same bro." Owen says and I just laugh along with Jace.

"Jade! We gotta get you an outfit!" Maeve yells, coming back to her sense. Kira, Maeve and Jade all start squealing and jumping around excitedly.

"My work here is done." I say, taking my hands out of Jace's hair. He just groans.

"Shut up you baby." I snap at him. He just rolls his eyes and gets up.

"Just tryna be your baby." I swear I hear Jace grumble. 

"I'm really tired, we're gonna go home." Jace says and starts to say bye to everyone. I follow his lead and next thing I know we're home and I'm in bed ready to go to sleep but then my door is being opened.

"Um princess, I believe I dared you earlier to give me a kiss goodnight." Jace says and my eyes nearly pop out their sockets.

"You did say that! Dammit I thought I was going crazy." I say, happy to be right.

"Alright come do it then. Just do it and make it real nice princess. This is going to be the best moment of my life I can just tell." Jace says sleepily. I get up and meet him at my door.

"Goodnight Jace." I say and then I stand on tip toe as he bends down and I kiss his forehead. He smiles happily and briefly hugs me.

"Night Ri." He whispers in my ear and then ducks out my doorway, retreating back to his room. I close my door and get in bed smiling. 

I don't think babysitters are supposed to make you blush.
