Once we got to the party, we realized that the girls were waiting on us. We parked and rushed out to meet them in front of the hotel entrance. We walked into the lobby and Maeve led the way to the party. We walked into a dining hall that was transformed into a club it seemed with people crowding the place, drinks and lights everywhere, and loud ass music. It was pretty much a more sophisticated high school party and I had no problem with that one bit.

We split into 2 groups yet again this time for good measure. One group grabbed drinks while the other snagged a table. Ella, Lizzy and I found a small table away from the DJ so we could just make out what we'd be saying to each other.

As we sat patiently we trashed some of the people we recognized in the crowd, some being people that I went to school with and others being people that Lizzy went to school with.

" Hey, I think that right there is Babe !" Ella pointed to a girl throwing up in a trash can. The girl lifted her head and it was none other than Babe who looked like she might pass out any second.

" Should we go help ?" Lizzy hurriedly stood up but sat back down once we saw the girl laugh and proceed to finish five shot glasses in 5 seconds flat and get right back to partying.

" Ew that's gross. Shots do not mask vomit breath. " Lizzy gagged as she sat back down. Ella and I giggled at her overdramatic self but stopped once the rest of our group came into view. Each girl held 2 drinks and they scooted into the booth, Jade sat by Lizzy while Kira and Maeve filled in the spots by me.

Lizzy was handed a strawberry daiquiri while Ella and I got nonalcoholic Piña Coladas. We eagerly sipped and I was in heaven with my drink.

" It's a bummer you guys can't drink." Jade commented as she drank her beer. Nothing against beer but I'm not going out to a party in a hotel to pay for an overpriced beer.

" It's a bummer you're still here." Ella muttered causing me to choke on my drink. She patted my back while I tried my best not to laugh knowing that no one else heard her comeback.

" And you're choking ? Gosh this is a major buzzkill." She drawled on.

" You're the major buzzkill. Go find another group of friends to suck the fun out of. " Lizzy snapped and actually shoved Jade out of the booth. Thankfully Jade caught herself and just stared at us all in shock as no one said anything and just kept sipping our drinks. She stomped her foot and let out a sound of frustration. She walked off and we lost her in the crowd.

" We still have to take her home. I wish she wasn't so irritable all the damn time." Kira groaned.

" Tell me about it, I was so happy when she told me she's gonna be moving out." Maeve said and we all froze.

" Say what now ?" I asked and Maeve smiled that devil smile of hers.

" Yeah, she said she's going to move in with her older brother and his wife. He thinks he can help her fix her attitude and some shit." Maeve revealed.

" Well damn, what about Sean and Zoe ?" Ella pitched.

" Dunno, Jade only mentioned she was leaving. Hopefully, Sean and Zoe stay and get rid of that negative energy she brought on them." Maeve kept spilling tea.

" I'll drink to that." Kira said and we all did a toast. Ella kept eyeing Lizzy's daquiri. Lizzy laughed and switched drinks with Ella since she only had a little bit left to drink anyways. Ella squealed in excitement and finished off Lizzy's cup.

Soon we had all finished our drinks which means we could safely leave the table and party without having to worry about getting slipped something. We made our way to the dance floor and joined the crowd of sweaty, buzzed bodies  bumping to 'Mo Bamba'. It's overplayed but with everyone's current state, the catchiness spread like wildfire and had us all screaming.

Eventually we all got thirsty and opted for waters from the bar. We spotted Jade there and she just rolled her eyes.

" I'm sorry for the way I acted. Can I join you guys ? " She asked and everyone was so out of it that we dragged her with us just in time to start dancing again to 'Bleed It' by Blueface. The night went on with us dancing, laughing and just enjoying ourselves.

Eventually we got to the point of total exhaustion and sat back down in the same spot from earlier.

" I don't know about you guys but I'm all danced out. " Kira groaned and she took off her shoes.

" You know your feet will not get back in those right ?" Maeve joked and Kira just elbowed her while we all laughed.

" I'll go barefoot, these shoes are killing my poor toes." Kira whined. Then Jade started crying.

" Girl, why you crying ?" Ella asked but thankfully due to how out of breath she was, it didn't sound as rude as she intended. It did though make Jade cry harder.

" I'm so sorry. I've been a bad mom, a bad friend, a bad person and a horrid girlfriend. I'm so over feeling disconnected from things one second and then feeling everything the next. I just want to be better but I keep screwing up. Gosh, what's wrong with me?" She cried out and then we knew it was best to let her finish and get it all out. After a good 5 minutes she stopped and then laughed.

" Sorry, that was pretty lame. There's definitely no crying in the club. " The old Jade shone through for a bit.

" It's okay, girls night for a reason. Whether its to have fun or save a friend." Kira comforted her.

" Can we go get something to eat ?" I asked. I had wanted to ask before but Jade was crying.

"Sure, what's open at," Lizzy pulled out her phone, " 1 in the morning ?!"She yelled.

" Waffle House." I answered right away. " Any issues with that ?" I glared at everyone at the table, they didn't dare say no. So with a smile set on my face we all got up to go to Waffle House.

I stared at all the kids we have. Zoe, Tommo, Lily, Makenzie and Makayla. Then I glanced at our men. Thomas, Owen, Jack, Sean and I. We got this.

" Sean go back to bed." I waved him off. He opened his mouth to argue but Owen pushed him towards the steps.

" I was gonna say thanks, damn." Sean grumbled and Owen smiled sheepishly but so did I because I expected him to argue back.

" The twins are asleep and Maeve left bottles for if they get hungry again but we fed them an hour ago so they shouldn't. " Owen informed us.

" Tommo and Lils did have dinner before I came over. " Thomas informed us. Which left one kid. I squatted down to Zoe's level.

"Hey Zobean." I smiled at her and she giggled happily.

" Uncle Jace !" She hugged me as if just seeing me for the first time today.

" You hungry Zo?" I rubbed her tummy and she shook her head no.

" Tell me if you are, okay ?" She nodded at me and went back to playing with Tommo and Lily. We all sat on the couches in the living room watching the kids play.

" So papa Jace huh." Jack stated. I smiled.

"Yeah I can't wait."

" Diapers, crying, poop, puke. You can wait." Thomas pushed my arm.

" Yeah but I want Riele to see how great of a mom she'll be." I spoke, allowing that to sink into everyone's brain that I was more excited for Riele than myself.

" You're a good husband." Owen patted my shoulder and although I didn't ever ask, he found a way to reassure me of my biggest fear.

" Thanks bro. But can we please watch a game or something ? I can't fall asleep while we got these kids."

" Orrr we could watch Broly. " Jack sang out. We all turned to him.

" How'd you get Broly ? From where ? Are you for real or playing around ? " I interrogated.

" Sean got it. You know how he works with films and all that. Don't know how but he got it." Jack replied. " He told me it was good, as expected."

" Well the hell you waiting for ? Put it on!" Thomas urged him. Thomas and I ran to get snacks while Owen ran to get drinks.

" Soda or beer !" Owen yelled.

" It's starting !" Jack yelled and we all just grabbed whatever and ran out the kitchen to see the whole thing.

" Tommo we're watching Dragon Ball Super !" I called out and they all came running. Lily sat in Thomas's lap while Tommo and Zoe sat in between Owen and I. Jack was in his recliner holding Makayla who must have woke up.

We got sucked into the wonderful world of anime.

Hours must have passed before I heard the garage open and the girls come in through the kitchen.

" Jace you're still up ? " Riele asked and I nodded my head. I paused the episode of Naruto I was watching to look around and see everyone else asleep.

" Yeah, I didn't realize everyone fell asleep." I watched as the girls started waking everyone up to get them to go upstairs to bed.

" Do we have to go home ? " Thomas whined and Lizzy almost slapped him.

" No, go to the guest room you big baby." She popped his forehead then scooped up both Tommo and Lily. I watched in shock as she carried them both, still in her heels.

" Damn, when the hell did she get so strong ?" Riele was more surprised than me.

" I guess our workout sessions help. " I said and Riele looked at me.

" Well damn, I'll start working out with y'all. Let me know." Riele decided. I just smiled and rubbed her stomach.

"Can't wait either huh ?" She beamed and I nodded in agreement.

yeah this was a big fat filler but it serves a good purpose at the same time. on the other hand i'll be going through slow & fast update periods due to school, work and an original book of mine that i'm editing tf out of. !!!!!!
