"How do you like 'em?"

I smile as Graham cracks an egg over a frying pan. "Sunny side up please."

"Coming right up. How did you sleep my little sunshine?" Graham asks as I lean against the counter next to him.

"Best sleep I've gotten in a while, thanks to you that is."

He shrugs. "Having someone to hold makes it a lot better around here."

He kisses me on the cheek before sliding a plate of eggs into my hands. "I'll meet you at the table."

I move closer and place my lips on his. "Don't be too long."

I leave him to finish his cooking and take a seat at the table.

The cabin is quiet, the only noise being the sizzling of the frying pan.

Graham turns to face me. "Do you know what it's like to get shot?"

His eyes stay focused on me as I don't answer.

I look down at my stomach, blood is now oozing out of me. There's no pain, no feeling, nothing. It's just numb.

My eyes move back to my plate but there aren't any eggs left, a single bullet lays on the plate. Blood drips off of my hands.

"Yeah, I do."

I look back up, expecting to see Graham's face but I don't.

"Cat?"

"Careful, Tyler would be pissed if he knew what you were doing to his table."

"Am I bleeding?" I ask, examining the blood on my hands.

"No duh silly, that's what happens when you get shot."

"Am I... dying?"

Cat shrugs. "What does it matter? Everybody dies someday. Some a little sooner than others..."

There's a pang of hurt in her voice as she says that.

"Was there something I could have done... to stop you?"

She shakes her head and laughs. "I wasn't made for this world. You however, you are stronger than me."

"Is Graham... is he with you?"

"Graham's fine."

I furrow my brow. "Fine?"

"Don't think about it too much. I've gotta go, but I need to warn you, there's a storm coming. A big one too. Be careful, take care of Ahri for me, do what I couldn't."
