her days were not the same. There was that big difference when he was home and when he was not. everytime he was home she woke up in his arms. He was holding her like a koala. and when her alarm rang and she tried to get up from him, he never let her. so she was late every time. The only thing that crossed her mind was thank god I own my business. so, basically no one told her anything.

but the times he is not home were so sad and empty. If she did not love doing her job she would stay home for days, doing nothing, just reading books. She missed his warm hugs, small arguments about what they would watch on TV or what she wanted to eat. their neighbors knew that, so every day someone visited her. doing her company.

The worst was always the day of their weekly date. the thing they decided even before they started dating. It was on one of their friend's dates. when he told her that he likes her more than a friend. and she felt the same. The thing was he was dating someone at the time. and the breakup was everything but pretty. she never saw him broken like that. but she stayed by his side. and here they are. years ago. He wanted to propose to her, but she had no idea.

When the day comes, her friend always makes plans. how to make her not sit home all sad and depressed. She did not like the idea, but always ended up doing it. so her friends put makeup on her face and found the dress. Before she leaves for fun, she always takes a picture and sends it to him. and everytime he comes back the day sooner than planned.

He always says he is not jealous. but she never believed him. It was this one time, when this happened. He canceled all his meetings and flights back the same day. so, when she opened her eyes he was there. sitting on a chair. looking and admiring her. the way he smiled at her, she knew she chose right.

oh, it was always days before she could go back to work. He never let her leave the bed. When she went to the bathroom, he was waiting and counting funnily when she would come back. It was annoying, but she secretly loved it. They did not cook a single meal in the meantime. He ordered everything and fed her.

all her friends always tell her she is lucky. She knew that. the whole universe was working on this meeting. It was destiny. they were meant to be. one soul in two bodies. and she loved that feeling. They understand each other. one look and they knew what the other wanted. When someone saw it for the first time, they were so shocked. how can you know she is cold by just looking at her? someone once asked. He did not answer, he smiled and looked at her. she felt it and smiled at him. their connection was so strong, no one could separate them. and everybody knew that.
