MERIDA DESERVES MORE FANS.

She's very loved and everything, but Elsa / Anna are the ones the kids, everyone always idolize. The little kids want to be the Snow Queen, they want to be the Princess. How many pictures on Facebook have you seen them dressing up as Anna / Elsa? A lot, right? And how many as Merida? Not as many, right?

Well, Merida deserves to be just as loved as them!

Elsa and Anna are the profile pictures. Frozen fanfics on Wattpad are everywhere. There are billions of Elsa edits in several different forms.

Honestly, I don't understand why people think Merida's ugly. SHE IS BEAUTIFUL. Just because she's not slende [in the face], with flowing [straight] hair, etc, doesn't mean she isn't pretty. I'd be willing to bet you that if Merida looked more like Elsa or Anna [what I call mainstream pretty, meaning pretty but the pretty EVERYONE finds pretty], there would be 40% more fans / and maybe Jarida shippers.

She defies the basic definition of Disney princess.
        a] hates her lessons
        b] doesn't need want / need a prince charming
        c] doesn't worry about looking good
        d] more of a doer than a thinker

I dunno why, but I find it nice. It's a good break from Cinderella, Aurora, and Snow White. Well, Ariel was kind of like that too in the sense that she was more of a doer than a thinker, but Merida brings it up more on many levels. No prince charming, a dislike for responsibilites, feels like she doesn't fit in [you know what I mean] she is so relatable. [and yet I ship her with people. I'm being a hypocrite]

Other stuff.
        a] she's able to realize her mistakes / isn't afraid to make them
        b] she has a sense of humor
        c] she's passionate / compassionate
        d] she's patient when she needs to be [remember her mom and eating fish?]

She needs more credit.
