[Now-a-days, sexual abuse happens very often. Yet, in this current world where while on one hand we call ourselves "modern", "open-minded" and "intelligent", on the other hand it is still the girl who gets the blame in most cases...this has to stop!!!]

I'll cover my face,
And shut my mouth.
I'll stop interacting,
And stay in my house.

I'll shut the windows,
And close all the doors.
I'll stop dressing short,
So I'm not considered a hoe.

I'll wrap up my body,
So you can't see through.
I'll stop going anywhere,
So I'm not in your view.

I'll go off social media,
And shut down my internet.
Because posting a simple picture,
May become the reason I "invite it".

And doing all this,
Can you assure me I'm safe?
Can you confidently say,
That I'm out of danger's way?

Because if these really were the solutions,
I would have followed through.
But when will you understand,
That it isn't me, IT IS YOU!
