When I was 13, I had a crazy dream about being a dragon/alien thing. A small species of dragon/alien thing, which were basically slaves to this enormous version of our species. Plot twist! The giant overlords were actually humans disguised as our species in order to control us easier.

I ended up making this into a short story back in early 2018 (years after I had that dream), except instead of dragons it was full-on aliens, and instead of humans/giant aliens it was simply a more powerful species. Obvious commentary on human/animal relations is obvious. Actually ended up having a happy ending! That's a first. I'll probably publish it in a short story collection on here.

Anyway. I had another idea. A more depressing one.

Originally starting off as a story that took place in the Raptor of War, it follows a mother, daughter, and a small group of others who escape the confines of their farm and try to find freedom in their world. Might change it to an individual who frees those in the entire farm, and this small group witnesses a large run for freedom that ultimately ends in failure (this is inspired by a story that was in the news a few years ago, about a goat who escaped an auctionhouse and returned a few years later to free a large amount of sheep there).

The ending will likely follow this other news story (which could easily be fake, but it's fitting) where, on a Chinese bear bile farm, a mother bear killed her son and then herself. 

Obviously I can't write this until RoW is finished, but imma put it here anyway.
