"So they just looked at you like. . ." Anko began, letting the sentence hang in the air. 

"Like they used to," Naruto confirmed as he looked at the tv in front of them, watching a few episodes of his favorite show as he leaned on the arm of the chair. "Like everyone did after the exams back then." Anko frowned. 

She had thought she knew Kurenai and Asuma better than that. 

"They were scared like I was out of control," Naruto said bitterly. "As if I were to turn my blade in their direction next! They don't get it, no one does." Anko felt her eyes roll as she grabbed the blonde's arm and tugged him towards her. 

"I get it." She whispered in his ear as she placed his head on her lap, her small and almost delicate hands roaming through his golden locks. "Trust me." 

"They think I'm a monster," He whispered, his voice choking up slightly and Anko's heart broke at the sound he gave off, like a small whimpering puppy who had just been kicked. 

"You're not a monster," Anko said softly. "You kill monsters. You protect those you love. There is nothing wrong with that at all, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise." Naruto felt a small smile creep onto his face, the tv light dancing off his face as he just laid in the lap of the woman he loved. 

This was nice. 

"I love you, Anko-chan." He said as he dug deeper into her lap. Anko chuckled. 

"I love you too, Naruto-kun." 

This time skip is brought to you by McDonalds, our ice cream machine IS broke so don't fucking ask. 

Naruto looked at his team in front of him, a proud grin on his face while they all stood in place, somewhat bashful. 

"I'm so proud of all of you. You all passed the preliminaries," Oh yes, I forgot about that? Well this is Naruto-centric so fucking deal with it. Now to explain. 

In the preliminaries, Sasuke had to fight some no-name Genin who could absorb chakra with his hands, a somewhat rare ability but he had been able to overcome by literally kicking the Genin's ass, having planted his foot in the teen's rear and smashing him into a wall, a sight Naruto couldn't help but snicker at when he rewatched the footage. 

Then, Sai had to face Kiba Inuzuka, who made the mistake of underestimating the former Root Ninja. Sai had utilized his ink-jutsu perfectly and subdued Kiba without knocking the Inuzuka out nor killing him, showing his expertise in catching an enemy alive.

Finally, Sakura had to fight her best friend Ino, who had tried to use her mind Jutsu on the pink-haired Genin, but was easily beaten when it came to a battle of the mind and she was kicked out. Sakura then used her training to easily defeat Ino with a swift punch to the head, knocking out the Yamanaka. 

"Now, normally I would have you all start training harshly as a team, but lucky you, I know damn well what the Third Exam is, and its basically a large 1v1 tournament, meaning you all have to train on your own." Naruto said as Sakura cocked her head to the side. 

"Does that mean you're planning on dumping us onto two other people so you can train Sasuke with the Sharingan?" Naruto laughed. 

"Of course not! Well, maybe a tad," He admitted as Sakura glared at him. "But its for a good cause I promise!" He pointed at Sai. "How would you like to train with Kakashi Hatake?" Sai's eyes widened. 

"Kakashi Hatake? The one who is rumored to know more than 1,000 Jutsu?" Naruto nodded. 

"Yep! He's like my older brother, and you guys are like my kids, so he's your pervy uncle in a technical type of way. So if I ask him to train ya, he will definitely say yes." 

"What if he says no?" Naruto smiled, closing his eyes as joy filled his voice.

"Then we take away his books. That'll motivate his lazy ass." Sai let a drop of sweat comically slide down his face.

"Okay, sensei." Naruto then pointed at his two other pupils. 

"Sakura!" He shouted, earning a small jump from the girl while he chuckled, not caring for the heated glare she was giving him. "You will be training with Jiraiya of the Sannin! He's a pervert but he's not a pedophile, so you're good on that. He'll be able to teach you almost anything you want, just threaten him by saying I'll sick Tsunade on his ass if he wants to peep on the hot springs rather than train you, okay?" Sakura's eyes were bulging out of her head.

"THE Jiraiya of the Sannin? Like one of the three Sannin?" Naruto nodded. Sakura let out a little squeal, making Naruto's grin to grow even bigger. 

"Yep!" He then turned to Sasuke. 

"And you will be training with me. I need you to get faster as well as to try and evolve your Sharingan from its baby stage," This time, it was Sasuke's turn to glare at his sensei, but Naruto continued. "You're facing Gaara, though, maybe not as dangerous as he initially was, he's still going to fight you seriously, and right now, you have no chance in beating him. Hence the training." 

Naruto then looked at his three Genin again and a small, content smile formed on his face. 

This was nice. 

"Welp," He began, clapping his hands. "Meet us here tomorrow at ten and we'll begin training! Sai! I need to talk to you alone for just a moment." Sasuke and Sakura waved as they left the training grounds where Sai and Naruto remained. 

"Now," Naruto began, getting serious. "Where are the Root Anbu Headquarters?" Sai shook his head.

"I'm unable to tell." Naruto frowned. Sai pointed to his tongue where a small seal was visible. 

"Hold your tongue out," Naruto ordered. Sai complied as a small blue chakra enveloped the tip of Naruto's finger, glowing as he placed it on Sai's tongue, the seal slowly dissolving. "There, now can you tell me?" 

"Yes," Sai then pointed down. "Root is located underneath the village, Danzo-sa-, I mean, Danzo, thought it would be appropriate." Naruto snorted. 

"I always knew that old man was crazy." He made a single clone. "Use him as protection, go to Hokage-sama and inform him of what I'm about to do." Sai looked at the clone, an eyebrow raised. 

"What do you intend on doing, sensei?" Naruto's Sharingan activated. 

"I'm going to enforce Hokage-sama's orders. Disband Root." Naruto began as he pulsed his chakra, using it like a sonar as he felt the ground beneath his shift, utilizing the earth as he slapped the ground with his hands, opening the ground and well enough, showing a small room about twenty feet below the ground. 

"Go now." Naruto ordered and Sai nodded as he and clone ran to inform the Hokage. Naruto then jumped into the hole he had created and lnaded in what seemed to be the mess hall of the Root base, having several members of Root just eating food at tables around him.

"Greetings children of devastated parents, you've been kidnapped and conditioned to believe what you are doing is right, news flash, it's not." Naruto drawled out. "Now, I'm going to be honest. You're all children, or were children, so I'm not going to kill any of you. That being said, I cannot promise against the breaking of bones, and if you all know who I am. . ." 

Naruto's eyes shifted into their Mangekyou state as his body suddenly turned into a bright golden color, his body glowing as a large black slit went down vertically in his eyes. "Then you know I am not to be trifled with." 

The Root Anbu, who were obviously in shock at the sudden appearance of the man who was said by their own leader to be the strongest in the village, a useful tool, but a double bladed one. 

"Danzo-sama says you are a danger to the village." One of the Root members said, standing up as they placed a blank mask on their face. "Is that true?" 

"I love my village and everyone in it. Please don't fight me," Naruto said in a pleading tone. "Join the village properly and fight for it. Root is not needed to protect the village, they are lies filled with honey that Danzo spout at you from a young age." 

". . ." Silence rang throughout the entirety of the mess hall, someone waiting for the other to make a move. Naruto met everyone's gaze and began walking, noticing as all of them tensed up. 

"I'm not attacking anyone." He said carefully as he walked through the mess hall, passing several Root members who refused to attack. "I am just going to find Danzo and make the village really prosperous. Hokage-sama will be along shortly along with one of your senior members, Sai. Feel free to greet them with the same hospitality you greeted me." 

Naruto walked down the hallway, traveling the grey concrete walls as he sensed himself getting closer to Danzo's position. 

He walked up to a steel door, and realized Danzo was just behind it. Forming a Rasengan in hand, he calmly broke the door open and saw Danzo sitting in a chair with two Root Agents next to him, obviously his right-hand man and his left-hand man. 

"Greetings, Danzo." Naruto spoke, his golden cloak coming to a hault as he stopped walking. "You've wronged me and now I'm here to end it." 

"You are too arrogant, Namikaze. You believe yourself untouchable, allow me to rectify that thought." Danzo replied as his two guards, Fu and Torune, began walking towards Naruto, their swords out and ready to fight. 

"It is you who is arrogant. You are weak, along with your two guards here." Naruto's eye began bleeding as he squeezed his hand together in a sudden motion, the two Root Anbu exploding in a rain of blood, red now littering the entire room. 

Danzo looked at the blonde with wide eyes, stunned that the man could pull off such a feat with such ease. He stood up, three large golden braces falling from his arm as he undid the bandages, revealing a pale white arm littered with Sharingan. 

Naruto's eyes widened. "How did you get all those Sharingan?" 

"Thank you old friend, Itachi. He made it possible to get all of these eyes." Danzo then began unwrapping the bandages over his head, revealing another Sharingan in his right eye. Naruto felt the chakra from each Sharingan, some belonged to the same person, others were just random people that he didn't know, but the one in Danzo's eye socket, felt familiar. 

"Who. . ." Naruto began but he dodged a wind bullet sent by Danzo, the wall behind him being cut in two. 

"You are too dangerous to be left alive, Namikaze. You are unchecked, but now I will end you existence and stop your suffering." Naruto dodged another wind Jutsu, his eyes still narrowed down at the eye Danzo had in his skull.

"Whose eye is that?" He asked, dodging a fist from Danzo, who was moving incredibly fast for his age. Naruto caught the fist in his hand and broke it, kicking the elder across the room as Danzo hit the concrete. "I SAID WHOSE EYE IS THAT IN YOUR SKULL?!" He shouted. 

It wasn't Itachi's, Naruto made sure to keep the eyes of his best friend in case Sasuke were to lose his sight somehow. It wasn't Izumi's, her eyes weren't as strong as the eye in Danzo's head. Fugaku and Mikoto didn't have particularly strong eyes, though, he never truly fought or sparred against them too much to get a good feel. 

Shisui's body was laying right in front of him, his eyes missing, the blood from the removal of his eyes were stained on his cheeks, his whole body wet. 

Shisui was missing both eyes. Shisui was missing both of his eyes when they found his body. Naruto felt the chakra emitting off the eye and knew at that moment that that eye was Shisui's. 

"How dare you?" Naruto whispered in a low tone, anger swelling up in his entire being. "I thought Itachi was the one who killed Shisui, but it was you! You killed Shisui, didn't you?" Danzo didn't answer, keen on just watching Naruto process that bit of information as he tried to formulate a plan where he would emerge victorious. 

Danzo had killed and stolen Shisui's eyes! How dare he? How dare that man kill his sensei and then desecrate the body by stealing his eyes? He would pay. 

Grey chakra consumed Naruto as ribcage of the charka formed around Naruto, a large arm sprouting from the ribcage. "I won't ever forgive you," Naruto whispered as he took a step forward. "I'll rip you in half!" 

He launched forward as he suddenly stabbed Danzo with a long thin grey sword that was in his uncompleted Susanoo. 

Danzo disappeared from view, as if fading from reality before reappearing behind Naruto, stabbing the Susanoo with the kunai but to his dismay, the kunai only broke in half. 

'So this is the Susanoo's absolute defense, haven't seen it since Shisui almost killed me!' Danzo thought as he backed away, only for his body to burst in a gush of blood, but he only vanished like he had before, the blood no longer on the floor. 

"What is this Jutsu?" Naruto muttered to himself as an involuntary growl erupted from his throat. "STOP BEING A COWARD AND FACE ME!" Danzo made a few hand signs from the corner of the room before throwing several shuriken at Naruto, using wind chakra to enhance their speed and sharpness. 

"That's not going to work," Naruto said as he went to slap them away with the Susanoo's arm, only to stop in shock as the shuriken cut right through the arm of cahkra and his the ribcage, barely stopping two inches from his eye. 

"That's pretty smart, enchanting kunai with wind chakra, I didn't think it would be so formidable though." Naruto commented as he deactivated his Susanoo, the shuriken falling to the ground. 

Deactivating his Kurama Cloak, Naruto's glow suddenly stopped, his body returning to normal but his Mangekyou was still very much active. "Sorry Kurama," Naruto spoke. "But I want to defeat him with my own power." 

Kurama, who was sitting inside Naruto's body, watching through Naruto's eyes, was frowning, a figure standing next to them, their own Sharingan active. 

"It's fine, Naruto. Beat that bastard for what he did to your sensei." Kurama growled, feeling the same amount of anger Naruto was feeling. He then turned to Indra, cutting his connection with Naruto. "What are you doing?" 

"Nothing." Indra replied easily as his eyes were like Naruto's own, glancing up and down the picture, the pathetic old man sitting in the corner trying to kill Naruto with all his might. "You seem to forget that I'm just Naruto's true primal desire. I don't directly influence his thoughts, rather, push them in the right direction." Kurama growled at the ancient being, only to freeze as killing intent flooded the air. 

"Don't mistake me for being kind-hearted like my foolish younger brother or father, or even my reincarnate here. I will chain you up and collar you like the beast you are." Indra said in a plain tone, indicating that it was not a threat, but a promise. 

Kurama felt steam come from his nose, glaring at Indra, but held his tongue. He needed to be there in order to help Naruto. Ashura was asleep, or rather, put to sleep by Indra, so he wasn't there to balance out the negativity Indra brought by being awake, so Kurama had to be awake as well in order to try and help.

Or else Naruto would lose himself. 

"Danzo," Naruto said the name as if he had just eaten rotten garbage. "Why do you feel the need to exist in my world?" He wondered aloud as his hand sliced through the man's heart, a Chidori activated as he turned around and killed the man again, both of the bodies vanishing in a second. 

"This world belongs to the victors, Namikaze," Danzo spoke, breathing harshly. "Not its victims," Naruto snarled as he suddenly unsealed his sword and lobbed Danzo's head off, only to be greeted by the man chuckling. 

"When I kill you, I'll take your Sharingan! Your abilities are quite extraordinary, I bet they even rival the prowess of Madara Uchiha!" 

"Your compliments mean nothing to me. They're just empty words coming from a man who is destined to die." Naruto replied as his sword pierced Danzo's heart, electricity suddenly spreading throughout the elder's body, electrifying his inner organs and making them explode, but then he dissolved into nothingness once again. 

It went on like that for four more times, each time Naruto would slay the man, he would reappear, but each time he did, Danzo got a little bit more worried, his tacticianal mind running like a steam engine, going as fast as it could trying to buy as much time as possible, but there was nothing. 

Danzo's arm was now ridded of Sharingan, the eyes had all closed, leaving only Shisui's eye left in the man's skull. "You're out of options now, Danzo." Naruto hissed as he inched ever closer to the man, who was now pressed up against the wall, his teeth clenched as he tried figuring out what he could do. 

He could try using the Kotoamatsukami on the man, but he had the Mangeykou and was unsure if it would affect a Mangekyou user, on the other hand he could use the Izanagi one last time and escape from the village. 

Or. . .

"You seem to think you have me cornered, huh?" Danzo spoke confidently. "What if I were to tell you that Hiruzen knew of the Uchiha massacre hm? About Shisui?" Naruto narrowed his eyes. 

"I would call you a liar." Danzo shook his head. 

"I am not. You see, the Hiruzen, Homura, Koharu, and I, are the only ones who knew of the truth. You know a version of the truth do you not? Itachi said that it was to stop a coup?" Naruto's eyes strained to see the older man, his vision was getting blurrier, but he nodded. 

"I thought so. But I guess you didn't know that he was ordered to slay his clan? Did you? He was given a choice, kill everyone in the clan himself and spare his little brother, or Root would destroy the entire clan, including his little brother, you could see the path he chose." 

"You sick fuck!" Naruto shouted in rage. "You made him kill his own clan?! Do you know how much pain that caused him?" 

"We did, but that is to be a shinobi. Self sacrifice is the way to peace, not through love and understanding, but with sheer will and force. We dirty our hands to keep the world clean." 

"I didn't come here for your foolish ideology," Naruto growled as lightning enveloped his hand. "This world will know peace, though you will never live to see it. But tell me this," Lighting shot from his hand like a spear as bolt struck right through the wall next to Danzo's head. "Why did you kill Shisui Uchiha? He died before the clans destruction. Why?" 

"Shisui was weak." Danzo said sternly. "He wanted to talk things out, repair the relationship between the village and the Uchiha, to build that bridge even if it meant using the ultimate genjutsu. Hiruzen was willing for this idea, it appealed to his own ideology and was ready to act on it, but I knew better. The Uchiha would forget and then what? A couple of decades longer before they decide to do it again? And this time there would be no Shisui or Itachi, nobody to fend off their ocular prowess, so I confronted Shisui and took one of his Sharingan before he got away. He had fatal injuries, but it was a necessary course of action." 

"He was trying to make peace, and you stepped in his way?" Naruto's voice was low and dangerous, teetering on the edge of insanity as a smirk appeared on his lips. "You stole one of my precious ones away from me, from us, and now you think you can walk away because you thought it was the right thing to do? To prevent something in the future?

"You took Shisui, who was like an older brother to me, you took him." Naruto repeated as his hand covered his face, hiding a large grin as his eyes turned bloodshot. "You took him, from us." He hissed before he ran towards Danzo, a Raikiri in his hand and he cut off the large white arm from the man's body, watching it as it fell to the ground with a splat. 

Danzo groaned in pain before Naruto jumped into the air and slammed his foot into the man's temple, sending him flying across the room and into the concrete, bashing his head as blood poured down the man's lips. 

"I'll be taking my sensei's eyes back now," A monotonous voice whispered in Danzo's ear as a flare of incredible of pain erupted to existence, his now empty eye socket bleeding as Naruto held Shisui's eye before sealing it away. 

Taking out his sword, Naruto held the blade above Danzo's forehead. 

"Any last words?" He said, a smirk on his face. Danzo just glared at Naruto, unable to speak due to the pain he was feeling throughout his body. 

"Naruto wait!" Hiruzen shouted as he had several Anbu, including Sai and some Root Anbu behind him. "Don't kill him! We need him for questioning!" 

"What is there to question?" Naruto shouted angrily, causing Hiruzen to take a step back. "He killed Shisui and prevented peace that could've formed between the Uchiha and the village! He defied orders, defied you, and basically forced Itachi into killing his clan! He's responsible for the destruction of the Uchiha!" 

"Do not act as judge, jury, and executioner," Hiruzen argued. "He will pay for his crimes against the Leaf, but he must live!" 

"He's too dangerous to be left alive! I know some of the Root Anbu are loyal to him instead of the village! Wherever he goes he's a threat!" Naruto turned to Danzo. "I will end this, once and for all." 

"Naruto this is an order! Do not kill him!" Hiruzen shouted desperately. Danzo smirked. 

"Held back by your foolish beliefs Hiruzen, this is what caused Orochimaru to get away." Danzo looked at Naruto. "I win boy, follow orders." 

Sasuke, Sai, Sakura, Kakashi, Anko, Asuma, Kurenai, Guy, and Hiruzen were all his precious people. If Danzo were to get away, he would attack them in order to get to him. He needn't let this happen, not when he can prevent it. 

"Sacrifice yourself for peace," Naruto spoke, causing Danzo's eyes to widen. "I think its time for you to practice what you preach." Naruto then plunged the sword into Danzo's forehead, killing the man as he fell to the floor, dead. 

"I will do, what is necessary in order to protect the ones I love," Naruto spoke aloud as he sheathed his sword. "If that means disobeying orders, then so be it." He walked up to Hiruzen, who was shocked by the insubordination of the once to be thought pure boy. 

Naruto got on his knees and connected his wrist, offering them to Hiruzen. "I disobeyed your orders, Hokage-sama. I believe I am to be jailed now?" Hiruzen saw the body of his old friend laying lifelessly on the floor. 

"Rise, Naruto." He said in an exhausted tone. "You will be punished for disobeying orders, but it is to be revealed at a later date. Go home, rest. I'll take care of the rest here." Naruto's blue eyes widened as he shakily stood up, suddenly feeling drained. 

"Yes sir," Was all he got before moving past the Hokage like a ghost as the Anbu parted, making a way for him to get out. Placing a hand on Sai's head, Naruto ruffled Sai's hair. 

"You did good Sai, you did good." 

And with that, he vanished in one of his sensei's favorite jutsu. 

And done. How was it? GOOD? BAD? Tell me! 

Anyways, yeah. PLOT! Danzo has the big dead now.
