"Please?" 

"No." 

"I would appreciate it a bunch!" 

"Hmm, no."

"You'd have a favor with the next Hokage?"

"I'm going to be the next Hokage, and my answer is still no." 

Naruto was currently walking down the dirt street of the village, hands in his pocket as he munched on a piece of pocky, minding his own business when Konohamaru, the grandson of the Third Hokage, was bothering him to play ninja along with his two other friends, the Snot Master Udon and the Sassiest 8-year-old in the village, Moegi. 

They wanted him to play ninja. Play. Ninja. Him, a real ninja, a really GOOD ninja, play ninja. 

"Ha! You are a fool, Naruto-nii! I will be the next Hokage!" Konohamaru declared, pointing an accusing finger at Naruto. A loud, exaggerated sigh escaped from Naruto's lips. 

"FIIIINEEEE, you little twits, I'll play. Run, you have ten seconds before I chase you. If you win, I'll teach you any move you want, if I win, you leave me alone for a month." Konohamaru and his gang nodded, excited for the opportunity. 

The trio ran away from him as he began counting in his head. 

Sakura, Sasuke, and Sai were currently patrolling the village, looking for their sensei. He had been missing for three days, he never came home according to Sakura and he hasn't been on any missions according to the Hokage. 

"Perhaps he's on an undercover mission, hence why Hokage-sama didn't tell us?" Sakura spoke in a worried voice. Sasuke shrugged.

"It's definitely a possibility." He muttered. They turned down an alleyway where they saw a small kid getting picked on by someone they did not recognize, with two other small kids cowering in fear. 

"You little shit," The teen in black shouted. "Do you know who I am?" Sasuke's eyes widened as he realized just who was in the clutches of the bully.

"Hey! You do know that's the Hokage's grandson right?" He shouted, charging in. "Let go of him now!" A teen with four blonde little scrunched up balls of hair on the back of her head, a large black bar on her back with a purple tunic that covered most of her frame. 

"So? We're the Kazekage's kids." 

"But you are in OUR village, not yours," Sai answered as he unsheathed his sword. "As of right now we could kill you and your village could do nothing about it. Not that they could even if they had the chance." 

"Hmph, as if you could," The teen dressed in black murmured as he hurled Konohamaru towards his friends, who quickly grabbed him from the air, glaring at the two Sand Ninja. "You guys are just a bunch of peace-loving tree huggers!" 

"Why must all villages be the same," A lazy voice drawled out as Naruto walked out from the corner, rustling Konohamaru's head. "Gotcha, you owe me a month of silence." 

"Sensei!" Sakura shouted gleefully. Naruto smiled awkwardly. 

"Huh, guess I've been missing huh?" He chuckled as he slowly walked towards the two Suna Genin. "You realize that my student was absolutely right, we could kill right here and no questions would be asked. You assaulted not just a civilian of Konoha, but the Hokage's grandson as well." 

"Who the hell are you?" The blonde shouted, glaring daggers at him. Naruto shrugged. 

"My name is Naruto Namikaze, next Hokage." He said simply as the two Genin froze. 

This was Naruto Namikaze? The man their father spoke of? This was him?! 

"Y-You're Naruto Namikaze?" Kankuro spoke, fear laced his voice as he saw Naruto's unnerving smile. "You're the Revenger?" Naruto was about to speak before another voice spoke up. 

"Temari, Kankuro, silence before I kill you." A voice that sounded hoarse and devoid of water said in a monotone voice. A boy appeared in between Naruto and the two known as Kankuro and Temari. He had bright red hair with teal green eyes that had black exhaustion marks around them, the kanji love was on the corner of his forehead. 

He had a large light brown gourd on his back that had a small lid covering the top. "I apologize for what my siblings have done, please forgive them, they are foolish in every right." Naruto cocked his head to the side and felt a grin spread across his face. 

"No. Fucking. Way." He said, excitement building in his voice. "NO FUCKING WAY! FINALLY!" He disappeared and reappeared behind the red-head and placed his hands on the boy's shoulders. "I'm taking him with me and THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO STOP ME!" And with that, he vanished. 

Temari looked panicked before she whirled around, glaring at Sakura, Sasuke, and Sai. "What the hell did your sensei just do to our little brother?" Sakura took a step back, raising her hands in surrender. 

"We have no idea, he's crazy but I doubt he'll do anything to hurt him, I swear!" 

Naruto and Gaara appeared in a small clearing, a small waterfall that led into a lake to their right and a bunch of lush green trees to their left. Gaara immediately jumped away from the blonde, his sand coming out of his gourd as he narrowed his eyes, the sand hanging in the air menacingly. 

"Why did you kidnap me?" Naruto chuckled. 

"I didn't kidnap you, I just took you away from your team against your will as well as against their will." A thoughtful expression crossed Naruto's face. "Huh, maybe I did kidnap you?"

"It certainly sounds like it. . ." Gaara spoke, his eyes narrowing further. Naruto quickly waved that thought off. 

"I brought you out here because you are the only person I met that's like me." Gaara's scary face transformed into a confused one. 

"What do you mean?" Naruto poked his stomach.

"I also have a Tailed Beast sealed within me. Judging by how you're from Suna, and you control sand, I'd guess that you have the One-Tails inside you, correct?" Gaara slowly nodded. "Nice, I have the Nine-Tails sealed inside me. He's cranky a lot of the time but we're actually friends." 

"Friends?" Naruto nodded as he slowly approached the One-Tails Jinchuuriki, Gaara taking a step away from him.

"Yep, now I would like to see what your tenant thinks of you," Naruto said with a smile before his Sharingan flared to life, making Gaara's eyes widen in shock before they found themselves in a black abyss. 

"Where are we?" Gaara asked, looking at Naruto with confusion and awe. 

"We are in your mindscape," He answered. "Inside your head, basically, now, where is Shukaku?" 

"You dare speak my name mortal? Who are you? Who is so insignificant to even fathom to approaching me and speak my name as if it were nothing?" A large beast made of sand and littered with hundreds of little purple lines appeared, his golden sparkling eyes glaring at Naruto. 

Naruto rose his hand. "Twas me I believe," He said as he squinted at the beast. "Tell me, why are you messing with Gaara's mind?" 

"Don't question me scum! You are just-"

"Watch your tone, Shukaku. Do not start a fight that not even I could finish." Kurama spoke as he appeared behind Naruto, causing Gaara to fall on his butt, his eyes wide as he tried to hurl sand at the massive Nine-Tailed Fox, but to no avail. 

"Don't be scared, Gaara." Naruto's soft voice spoke in his ear. "We are here to help you." 

"H-Help me?" Gaara whispered, feeling like a child, useless and afraid. 

"Kurama!" Shukaku shouted in shock. "What do you mean by that? Are you saying that this mortal beat you?" Kurama growled, but swallowed his pride and let out a small sigh. 

"Yes, this runt beat me in combat almost two years ago. He's stronger than you and I," Kurama stated. Naruto grinned.

"Aw don't sound so modest, Kurama, you gave me a hell of a fight." Kurama rolled his eyes but didn't speak.

"I refuse to believe such an unbelievable tale!" Shukaku screamed as sand began surrounding him, forming into tendrils that pointed at Naruto. "You lie to keep this mortal safe from my clutches!" 

"Kurama," Naruto began in a soft voice. "I know he's your brother, but if possible, may I teach him something?" Kurama nodded and felt a smirk tug at his lips. He then peered down at Gaara, who was still shaking in fear and shrunk himself to the size of a normal fox and slowly walked and placed himself on the boy's lap, making him freeze. 

"Do not worry, child. Naruto, for whatever reason, cares for you. He's doing this for your benefit," Kurama spoke, making Gaara's eyes widen. "Besides, you're about to see your tormentor be beaten, soundly." 

"Teach me? What on Earth could you teach me?" Naruto closed his eyes, his fingers wrapping around the hilt of his sword, a smirk adorning his face as he took a deep breath. 

"What everyone in this world needs to know," Naruto began, his eyes opening, revealing his Mangekyou Sharingan. "Your place!" Shukaku narrowed his golden eyes before sending the tendrils of sand towards Naruto at high speeds, but the Namikaze was far quicker than the Tailed Beast. 

"Pathetic," Naruto spoke as he flashed in front of Shukaku's massive face. "You are weak." He spun in the air before planting his foot into Shukaku's face as the gigantic-being flew across the black abyss. 

"You insolent creature!" Shukaku shouted as he sent thousands upon thousands of sand bullets in the direction of Naruto who dodged each and every bullet with ease, his Sharingan eyes making sure that he wouldn't miscalculate the trajectory of the bullets. 

"You insolent creature." Naruto murmured as his eyes suddenly widened, revealing bloodshot eyes. "YOU INSOLENT BEAST!" Kurama's eyes widened as he peered at Naruto. 

'Indra. . .' He thought as a frown appeared on his face. 'Stop influencing Naruto, he's too pure.' 

Naruto felt his face for a second before laughing. "I just realized that since I'm in the mindscape of Gaara, I don't take any physical effects from the fight, meaning I can use my Mangekyou as much as I want with zero repercussions!" 

Naruto suddenly pushed his hand forward, using his left eye's ability as Shukaku's movements suddenly stopped. 

"What is this?" He shouted in terror before he was suddenly lifted off the ground. Naruto sent him flying back again before he quickly made a few hand seals and slammed his hand on the ground. 

Several large pillars of metal suddenly surrounded themselves around Shukaku before they began bending, forming a small prison around the Sand Beast as he thrashed at the bars. 

"You are weak. You dare plague Gaara's mind and manipulate him? You called me a mortal, but to me you are but an insect. It's time for you to learn some manners," Naruto whispered in a dark tone, sending shivers down Kurama's spine while Gaara looked unfazed by his words, still watching in amazement as the blonde easily took down the tanuki demon. 

Walking up to the cage that now held Shukaku, ignoring the loud screams that filled Naruto's ears, he quickly bit his thumb and began writing on one of the bars. "From now on, whenever you think of doing something negative to Gaara, you will be lit aflame. You will not speak to him unless he wishes to speak to you. Do you understand?" He said as he finished writing the kanji with his blood. 

"Curse you bastard-" Shukaku began before a large flame consumed his entire being, his high-pitched scream echoing in Gaara's mindscape. The flames lasted for another minute before dying down, revealing Shukaku glaring murderously at Naruto, most of his skin was now made of glass. 

"Do you understand?" Naruto repeated, his Sharingan eyes piercing Shukaku's own golden eyes. Then, Shukaku saw a faint glimpse of what seemed to be a ghost, or, two ghosts for that matter. 

Behind Naruto, were two figures, barely visible, but visible nonetheless, standing behind him back to back, their eyes focused on the beast. 

'Indra, Ashura, so your feud will end with this boy.' Shukaku then looked at Naruto and nodded. "I understand. Gaara will be safe from now on." Naruto nodded and looked at Gaara, a grin on his face. 

"So Gaara, have a place to stay?" 

And done. Little bit over 2k words so I'm not worried about it. 

MAN I HAVE SOME FUCKED UP SHIT PLANNED FOR THIS STORY AND I'M NOT READY LMAO!
