Btw all these animals are like hanamantago, but they can go for elongated periods of time without their owners. A few years at maximum.

Pennsylvania - a male German Shepard named Peanut. When the german bros basically decided to visit Penn, Prussia brought a dog with him! Both of them planned to give Peanut to Pennsylvania though Germany was a little hesitant, y'all know how he is with his dogs. In the end they both entrusted Penn to take care, love & protect Peanut. 

Peanut can be extremely playful one minute, then full cop dog the next. Peanut is a 26 inch male that weighs over 85 lbs, so this dog can beat your ass New York. Peanut is a tan, faint white, and black shepard. Pennsylvania's German Shepard has been said to be the most obedient and intelligent dog in America by Penn's fellow states.  

Like the German brothers, Pennsylvania loves this dog to death. 

Overall peanut is an amazing German  Shepard and will not hesitate to bite u if u fuck /w Penn. 

(Ok the explaniantion on peanut is a little weird but ya know shit ain't happen) 

Ohio - the dude got a male bulldog and a sQUIRREL– but no seriously he owns a squirrel named Detroit. The bulldog is Buckeye

Now onto Buckeye. 

A beautiful white and brown American bulldog that weighs over 110 lbs, and is 26 inches tall. Buckeye has distinctive instincts when it comes to his owner. This dog can literally smell depression, he'll most defiantly be the first thing that brightens Ohio's mood. Ohio got Buckeye as a christmas present from America. As soon as Ohio saw it was dog he began crying, bro he was so fuckin happy. 

Buckeye has probably saved his life once. Because this dog.. Knows hOW TO SWIM–

Buckeye is quite over protective of Ohio, especially when Michigan is involved. Buckeye gets plenty of regular exercise to avoid boredom, so he's ready to square up right here right now. (I really want this dog now lol) 

Michigan - New World Warbler named Parulidae (Pear-oo-lie-day) [more specifically] American Yellow Warbler - Setophaga Petechia

A small extensively yellow bird with an attitude. This bird can tell when Michigan / Michigan St. is being beaten, so he's bouta post up with Texas. He's a lil shit, but he's so fuckin adorable. 

Michigan got Parulidae from Indiana in hopes that they wouldn't have a bad relationship when Michigan actually became a state. Well they actually have a great relationship to this day, except for certain things like politics, sports, etc.

Parulidae is Michigan's company when he's lonely. Paru silently sits on Michigan's shoulder and attentively concentrates on what he has to say. Sometimes Paru will respond with little tweets. Listening to Michigan play his piano is Paru's favourite thing in the world.  

Florida - this is self explanatory

5 alligators, 2 crocs, 1 lizard, 1 copperhead (golden brown snake), legit may just have a cockatoo. ALL OF THESE ANIMALS CAN SURVIVE A HURRICAne–

Iowa - typically Iowa hates crows, but this is the only one she will make an exception for. 

During The Great Flood of 1993, when Iowa was completely drenched. 

(Yeah Iowa's fuckin gone my dudes) 

Iowa met a small crow which whom she named Oreo. Oreo has beautiful black feathers on the top, while the underside is a faint white. Oreo had lost his home to the flood and had been flying days when Iowa found him. Because of her love for animals she wasn't just gonna leave Oreo there, but she wasn't so fond of bringing him with her. That changed when Oreo didn't immediately eat her corn that she's stashed inside the house. In fact Oreo wouldn't eat it unless he was told otherwise. 

Some "facts" about Oreo

The name is because he's black & white and cause he like oreos 

Has raided the fridge on multiple occasions

He attacks other crows, especially ones that mess with Iowa's corn

Frenemies with Parulidae

Can and will attac at any given moment

Hates [insert state here] with a burning passion

Can stand Canada's weather (along the many other pets along or close enough to the Canadian border)

Will not take shit from anyone
