It was my first day at Dornman Port High School and I walked into the building. I saw so many people. People. Not my favorite because it was rare for people to be like me. I thought back to the boy I saw in the park the other day. He seemed like someone who would get me. "Excuse me but could you not clog the hall. There are other people who want to walk here," A voice said. I looked behind me and saw the boy from the park. "O-oh sorry," I said blushing. I took a look at my locker assignment and went over to it. 

Unfortunately Emo had the locker right next to it. "Oh god," I said. Emo looked away from the guy that was feeding him ice cream the other day. "Oh Xiao-Xiao this is the guy I was telling you about," Emo said. The guy who must be Xiao grabbed my collar and pushed me against the lockers. "So you're the guy that made my boyfriend upset," Xiao said angry. "Hey I just said that I don't believe in mermaids. Aka being rational," I said pushing Xiao off of me. Emo gasped. "Look i'm sorry if your boyfriend believes in something I stopped believing in when I was like 3. Not my fault," I said. "Emo Wangzi. How many times have I warned you not to freak out new kids. Not all people believe in mermaids like most people in this town. Seriously this is getting annoying. So call of your attack dog," The guy from the park and the door said walking up to Emo. Emo put his head down. "Sorry bestie," Emo said. Wait what did he just call this respectable intellectual? I then noticed that the boy's hair was messed up and he had a casual outfit on. Casual if you were an average person. "Why are you looking at me like that?" He asked. "Well I saw you reading in the park yesterday and-" I was saying but he cut me off. "You're wondering why I look different then I did then," He finished. I nodded. "Okay I better introduce myself then. My name is Matrix Armageddon and in public outside of school-and a little bit in school-i'm 'Little Sir Perfect' because my dad's a bitch. But in school I can just be a teen," The boy said. That made me think. "Well either way my dad's still the worst and is forcing me and my siblings to be perfect. Not my problem at this point in time," Matrix said. Emo and Xiao were trying to sneak away as me and Matrix were talking. "Don't you even think about ditching first and second periods just so you two can make out in the bathroom," Matrix said. Emo and Xiao groaned. "Emo you are three detentions away from expulsion and we need that number to go down. Xiao you're a goth guy that just needs an attitude adjustment and less of sex drive. Both of you need to take. A. Break from each other. So both of you are going to your SEPARATE classes when first period comes around. Same with second. Now MARCH!" Matrix commanded the lovers. Emo and Xiao kissed each other before Xiao left. Matrix sighed. "C'mon bestie. I'll get you a smoothie after school to make it up to you," Matrix said. Emo laid his head on Matrix's shoulder. "Thank you," Emo said like a child. "Hey New Guy. Maybe I could offer you my study group. We meet after school on Thursdays," Matrix said. "I'll think about it. Oh and my name's Cyno by the way," I said. "Well see you then Cyno," Matrix said "Now c'mon Emo,". Matrix dragged Emo away. I sighed smiling. Matrix was so nice and cute. Then I realized. I had a crush on Matrix. "Oh shi-".
