I like school. I'm smarter than your average teenager. Heck I'm smarter than your average first year university student (my dad's words not mine). But I get bad grades. Why? I looked at some of the possibilities why I get bad grades.

Bluntness
I'm too blunt. When we do written or oral assignments my classmates write 5-10 sentences dancing around the topic and I write 1 or 2 bang on target. So it looks like I don't put in as much effort. And it makes essays harder.

Fidgeting
I have a tendency to need something in my hands to keep me occupied so it looks like I don't take part in group work and we often do group work in my class. At least more than my previous classes.

Daydreaming
I have a tendency to drift into my own little world so I often don't do things and that results in my grades going down the toilet

Laziness
I cut corners. In everything. Not literally. But I find shortcuts and loopholes in everything. So once again grades go down the toilet
