Scott's POV

"Three years ago, this very emotive, insecure girl, let's say her name was Allisa, had a major crush on this jock. He was in every class that she took but he didn't recognize her since she was unattractive, immature and a nerd. She tried to say at least 'Hi' to him but she was always tongue tied and that's when she realized she needed help to confess her feelings for him before he went out with the hottest girl in school, Nora." I blinked twice to comprehend the names Lisa said in her story; Allisa and Nora and they both rang a bell. She continued to look at her hand clasped in her lap as she spoke again. "So she decided to ask her best friend which was her cousin for help. I caressed her red/blonde hair with my hand and then I realized that the roots of her hair was ginger red. I shrugged the fact and continued comforting Allisa. I cried when I realized that it was all my fault that made her like this and I apologize. She didn't deserve this, no one did. She pulled away from my arms not even sparing a glance my way. I reached for her left hand and massaged the scar and that's when she looked up at me. I wiped her tears with my thumb and she smiled. Her smile melted my heart as it always did back in California and here in New York. Whether she was Lisa, Allisa, Jack or Jill, she always had this effect on me. She was that amazing. She wiped a tear that managed to hit my cheeks but I couldn't smile knowing that I'm the reason for all her pain when all I wanted to do was be her knight n' shining armor. She must've hate me very much. "I am so sorry Allisa. If I knew that I caused you so much pain, I would have ended my life already." "Then am glad you didn't know" She showed her breathtaking smile and I couldn't stop the tears from falling. Now I'm the one who doesn't deserve her or her forgiveness but here she is asking for mine. We cuddled in bed silently the entire night but the silence confirmed that we both forgave each other.
