I arrived at school surprised to see Scott well seated next to me again. "Hi" he simply said as I sat beside him in Computer Science class. "No offence, but your seat has always been beside Nora's- your girlfriend." "Ex- girlfriend" He warned me but still didn't move. I wonder what happened to the couple of the year – a stupid title given to the longest lasting and cutest couple at the school. I shrugged that thought and began taking notes.

When class was dismissed, Scott held onto my hand perhaps trying to divert everyone's attention towards us. If this was 2 years ago I wouldn't have repeated this "Dammit Scott, Are you deaf? We're only F-R-I-E-N-D-S" I spelt it out while emphasizing each letter. He nodded and let go of my hand which made me want to cry. I missed his touch. He said then left. Nick stopped me dead in my tracks. Proof? Did he videotape it or something?
