Chapter 14

A/n: Warning: Prepare to squeal.

Lisa's pov~

I had tucked my bright hair under a cap and my features were hidden by a mask. With slow, casual steps I walked out of our dorms and towards the direction of the home of one of the biggest boy groups ever.

Nerves were eating at me. I didn't know if what I was doing was right or not. I had told my unnies the truth, that Jimin had invited me to hangout with him. Jennie had been sceptical, warning me about the wrath of our sajangnim. Rosé had simply told me to follow my gut.

And Jisoo just smirked and made kissy faces at me. When I was leaving the dorm she pretended to wipe fake tears, muttering "Our maknae is finally growing up."

I just stole the chicken sandwich from her plate as retaliation.

I sighed as I saw their building from my peripheral vision. My steps faltered, last minute doubts eating at me.

Jimin had said in his texts that all the other members had gone to visit their families. They were on a short break before they had multiple concerts in Japan, for the Japanese releases of their latest songs. I was thankful, I didn't want to see him.

I shook my head. Nope, not going to think about him.

Since we couldn't roam about in broad daylight without getting caught, Jimin had suggested watching a movie at their dorms together.

I had never been all alone like this with a boy before. I just hoped I wasn't too awkward. I admired Jimin a lot, I didn't want to leave a bad impression.

I looked down at myself. I had opted for a simple green dress which ended at mid thigh, paired with my favourite white vans.

Turning right just before the building, I went around the structure and slowly opened the fenced gate to its backyard. It was unlocked.

Jimin must have left it open for me.

I did a three sixty turn, my hawk eyes searching for someone spying. Letting out a breath of relief when I didn't spot anyone, I turned to knock on the door.

It opened before my hand could touch the wood and an amused Jimin peered at me with smiling eyes.

"Were you scouting for trouble?", he asked."Don't worry, this area is safe. Most surrounding buildings are also owned by BigHit."

I stared at him. He was dressed casually in worn out jeans and a black tee, topped with a denim jacket. His squishy cheeks looked softer than a down pillow. A sudden urge to pinch them overwhelmed me.

What the hell is wrong with me?

I cleared my throat."Good morning, Jimin sunbae."

He frowned as he gestured for me to step in. Closing the door behind us he muttered, "What's with the sunbae? Even in the texts you called me that."

"You're my senior, I have to." I followed him down a long sunlit hallway to their living room.

He stopped by the couch and looked at me with a teasing smile."I'd much prefer it if you would call me something else."

I feigned ignorance, giving him my best innocent expression. "What?"

He scowled at me. "Really? You're gonna do that?", he huffed." Fine, don't call me-"

"Oppa." I smiled. "What movie are we watching today?"

He gaped at me for a second, his cheeks turning red before he turned away and cleared his throat, gesturing to the big flatscreen tv and neatly stacked dvds below. "We have a huge collection here, you can choose."

I struggled not to laugh but a small chuckle escaped.

He narrowed his eyes at me. "Don't laugh. My cheeks turned red, didn't they?"

"Nope."

"They did."

"Nuh huh."

He smirked. "Don't blame me for blushing. A beautiful woman just called me Oppa."

My eyes widened, now it was my turn to go tomato.

He burst out laughing.

We ended up agreeing to a Harry Potter marathon. He made popcorn and we sat side by side on the couch, munching and doing commentary on the movies we had both watched many times before.

I felt good. Relaxed and happy, all thoughts of a certain someone pushed to the back of my mind. This was exactly what I needed.

We had just started Prisoner of Azkaban, when suddenly he turned to me. "You have your comeback tomorrow. Are you nervous?"

Sighing, I put down the popcorn bowl. "Of course I am. We're still rookies, you know. I just hope the fans will like it."

"Oh, they will. You girls are very talented.", he fake pouted. "You might just break our record."

I chuckled. He smiled back, looking at me with his half crescent eyes. I had never seen a person's whole face light up when smiling the way his did. It was so cute.

My chain of thoughts broke when I realised our proximity, or lack thereof. I gazed up at him, all traces of mirth gone. Breathing turned heavy as both of our faces closed the remaining distance.

Something at the back of my mind nagged at me to stop. To not complicate a new blossoming friendship.

But before I could physically act upon the urge, the front door opened, startling us apart just as our lips were about to touch.

"Jimin hyung, are you home-"

Jungkook's words trailed off as he stepped inside the living room.

Nobody spoke for what felt like a minute, Jungkook's shocked expression turning into a scowl as his jaw hardened and he glared at Jimin.

"Jung-", Jimin started but Jungkook cut him off.

"What is she doing here?"

Jimin frowned. "I invited her. Jungkook what is your prob-"

"I told you not to go after her.", he growled.

I panicked. I didn't want to start a fight between the two. Moreover, everytime I saw his face that kiss became imprinted in my mind. I wanted out.

I stood up hurriedly. "I should go."

But just as I was about to turn Jimin grabbed my upper arm."No stay. I don't know what's wrong with him."

Something in Jungkook snapped."Jimin, let go of her."

We both gaped at his informal language.

He continued menacingly. "She's nothing but trouble. Trust me, you don't want to get involved in that."

I gasped, my vision blurring with tears. I snatched my arm from Jimin's hold, rushing towards the back door. I heard Jungkook swearing behind me and Jimin yelling at him.

But I didn't care. I had known he didn't care much for me but I could never have imagined that his opinion of me was so low. And here I was, pining over him. How pathetic.

I was about to turn the knob on the back door when an arm snaked around my waist and pulled me back into the hallway.

Jungkook dragged me into what looked like an office space and closed the door behind us.

I pushed him away as soon as I could, turning to open the door to the strange room. But he put his palm up, pushing it closed. I tried to pry it open with all my might but I was no match for his strength.

"L-let me go, Jungkook.", I stuttered, trying hard to cover up my shaky voice.

I felt his heat behind me and my heart raced, a weird kind of adrenaline rush coursed through my veins. When he put his hands on my waist, a gasp escaped me.

"I'm sorry. What I just said, I didn't mean it. At least not in the way you think.", he whispered in my ear.

I shivered, hating that he had such a strong effect on me.

Turning around, I put my hands on his chest and pushed him away to a safer distance.
"I don't care."

His face softened and he cupped my cheeks, using his thumbs to wipe them."Then why are you crying?"

I shut my eyes in embarrassment, I hated appearing weak. Especially in front of Jungkook. "I'm not.", I lied blatantly.

He huffed out in annoyance. Pulling his hands back, he stepped backwards to lean against the large table."I told you to stay away from Jimin. Why don't you ever listen to me?"

My blood boiled with rage. "You're not the boss of us, we can do whatever we want.", I shouted. "I can be friends with him or I can go on dates with him. Either way, it's not your concern. I can even ki-"

He put his hand on my mouth and glowered down at me, his caramel brown eyes flashing with anger."Do not finish that sentence. The hell you're going to do any of that. Over my dead body."

I pulled his hand down."You're not going to stop me, you hypocrite. Why don't you go back to your girlfriend and stop sticking your nose into other people's business."

His face showed confusion."What are you talking-"

"I saw you sucking face with Tzuyu yesterday. And you have the nerve to call me out on anything."

His confusion cleared but to my surprise, his face morphed into smug smile."Are you jealous, doll?"

I inhaled sharply in outrage. "Of course not. I'm just pointing out your hypocrisy-"

He seized my waist and pulled me into him, turning around at the last second to pin me against the table. His intoxicating scent surrounded me, making me dizzy.

"You are jealous.", he breathed in my ear, his lips grazing my lobe. My breath stuttered when his hands moved to glide over my back.

I want to slap that smug smile off his face.

"Do it.", he took my hand and placed it on his cheek. Had I said that out loud? My brain wasn't functioning with him so close.

Instead of slapping him, my hand unconsciously went to his soft hair and pulled his face closer.

"That's my girl.", he teased.

His lips grazed my jaw and my eyes closed in pleasure."I didn't kiss Tzuyu.", he muttered in between soft kisses to my jawline." She forced herself onto me."

I grabbed his hair again, pulling his face up. I didn't know what I was doing but at this point my sanity had long abandoned me. "Kiss me."

He smirked. "Gladly."
