I drew a DC villain, so here's a DC hero. Batwing needs more love and recognition! He was a Batman once in a different timeline, after all. He took me roughly 5 hours to draw and I couldn't quite get his abdominal muscles to look right when there was so much shading going on in the reference photo. By that point, I just decided to at least make sure you don't mistake his arm for a part of his side and put a slightly darker line to outline where his chest ends and his arm begins.

I wasn't going to add in any color, but then I had the terrible idea to completely color it in with black to make a silhouette with a blue bat to represent the Bat Symbol he's got going on, but that would have put my 5 hours and 2 pencils to shame for turning out basically useless. So, I just decided to use a colored pencil to draw around the edges of the Bat Symbol to keep the center clear so it looks like it's glowing. I probably failed, but it's better than leaving it blank and making it feel incomplete.
